Beautiful & Gracious
Andrea & Mike are such gracious hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed to accommodate our large group. They had more than enough linens and electrical outlets to charge devices and connect multiple gadgets. This trip was for a 10 year olds birthday but I would definitely return for a girls retreat or a couples getaway.

TOP TIER!! 5 GOLDEN STARS
We LOVED our "Underground Railroad Station" overnight accommodations at Huck and Buck Farm, a property located on the Underground Railroad in Smryna, Delaware. Situated on the road we adopted, the farm is just a few doors down from the historic Clearfield Farm house, which was a safe house in the 1800's.
Weary travelers of the Underground who stayed at Underground Stations received a warm welcome, usually by Quaker or free Black families. Preparations were made specifically for them, a gesture of humanity and genuine love that most had not experienced before. Food was prepared, blankets were gathered and in most cases, overnight accommodations were made either hidden within the house or on the property.
When we pulled up to the farm last night, the fire was crackling and ready to keep us warm for hours to come. Hammocks were positioned beneath a skyline of fairy lights, and cold drinks were in the fridge. All the fixins for giant marshmallow and almond butter stuffed smores were next to a plush queen size bed inside an insulated, gorgeously staged glamping tent! This was far from a freedom seeker journey, but it gave us all the feels of the magnitude of the gift of welcome. It increased our understanding of how powerful interaction and preparation can have on the soul of a human. That within itself is a healing balm.
The Haritos have the gift of welcome! I am not a camper, and sleeping surrounded by wildlife is a new experience to me. But the attention to detail, the warm

This farm is a must :)
This experience couldn’t have been more special, warm and magical…
Family and bed-and-breakfast vibes and idyllic nature, surrounded by storybook gardenscape and animals…. Our family was well taken care of and our parents, who are not campers, may have just become some on the other side of this glamping farm stay!

Fantastic Farm Retreat
I loved the farm. It was exciting to see the animals, pick fruit, vegetables and eat fresh eggs each morning. The area was quiet & peaceful. Great for families to enjoy. Michael & Andrea are a joy and wonderful hosts. Huck & Buck Farm is a fantastic place to get away to & I will be back again.

Andrea and her husband were very kind and accommodating during our stay on their property. the property itself is beautiful and spacious, with lots of animals around and an atmospheric and cozy looking bridge by the pond that they have near the camp area. They were kind enough to set us up with a swag bag with goodies and Momentos that were unexpected but very welcome. If I am ever in the area again i would definitely stay at the Huck Buck Farm Sanctuary again.

Amazing Farm Family B&B
Hands down: Best Hipcamp Experience Ever! It's like staying at a farm B&B. Andrea and Michael greeted us in the parking area, gave us a tour of their little farm filled with chickens, roosters, turkeys, cats, and 2 adorable dogs named Prince and King. The site has a pond, hammock, fire pit with Adirondack chairs, firewood, AND a new outdoor shower. Andrea was the most accommodating host. She provided us with clean fluffy towels, wash cloths, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and gifted us with Huck & Buck bags and cups. They were SO friendly and inviting...and the sound of the cicadas and bullfrogs was the perfect white noise for sleep. We were even provided fresh-laid eggs and cheese for breakfast. We might just visit this little part of Delaware again just to stay in this beautiful place and say hi. Would definitely recommend!
