There’s a small pond out back stocked with a few sunfish and maybe a snapping turtle. We grow vegetable and our hens produce a variety of fresh eggs. There’s a open grill for cooking and fresh water outdoors. Outdoor compost toilet is available. We have installed an outdoor shower which is available to guests.  If you would like to accompany us and get a close up look at our farm, morning chores are at sunrise and sundown.

Andrea was an amazing host! The site was beautiful! The bathroom/shower house is nicer than my home bathroom. Their farm is amazing! It was so peaceful to walk around and see all the animals, the flowers and vegetables in the green house, and to pick fresh blackberries! Andrea went out of her way to welcome me and make sure I had everything I needed. I wish I would have stayed longer!

Self Care Glamping Tent
HipCamp Photographer Review
Huck and Buck Farm Sanctuary was such an awesome HipCamp find! Andrea is a terrific host and was so welcoming. There are so many corners of her property and so much to see. From gardens upon gardens to farm animals to blackberry picking to being greeted by the cutest dogs, it is truly such a fun place! The glamping tent has everything you could possibly need and more for a pleasant camping experience! I would definitely recommend staying here for your future Delaware travels.

Self Care Glamping Tent
Glamping with the Fam
We had a great time and enjoyed the hospitality. Despite the heat wave, we enjoyed the event that occurred and the seeing the animals as well. If anyone wants to get away from reality then this is the place to be. Andrea and Mike were the best hosts ever!

Self Care Glamping Tent
Andrea and Michael were great hosts - attentive and willing to help with whatever we needed. The farm is beautiful and my teenagers had fun helping out in the greenhouse. The bath house is fantastic and has everything you could possibly need. Bed in the glamping tent is very comfortable and it was great having the Keurig in there to make coffee and tea. One point to consider: if you're a light sleeper, you might want to bring ear plugs or headphones. There is some road noise and the week we were there the bullfrogs were very loud at night, which made sleeping difficult a couple of the nights. Other than that, we had a great time!

Great Camping on the Farm
Fantastic Camping Trip! We enjoyed Andrea's and Michael's company throughout the trip. We purchased some duck eggs midway through the trip, picked fresh vegetables for dinner every night - peas, broccoli, lettuce, Brussel sprouts, Swiss Chard, Cauliflower, garlic, and more! Breakfast we got fresh blackberries for cereal and pancakes. Our daughter learned to ride her bike on the pasture. Kids got to enjoy taking care of the animals throughout the visit. Less than an hour from the beach. Very easy to get i and out of the spot.

Relax and Bring in your Tent
Peaceful and authentic farm camping
Andrea’s place has an authentic, laid back and peaceful feel. For tent camping there is an open field bordered by shade trees, out of site of the main house but within view of some of the farm area, and just a short distance from the bath house. It was wonderful to fall asleep to fireflies overhead in the trees and wake up to birds and roosters in the distance. We were only there for one night but used the fire pit to cook some fresh eggs from Andrea’s chickens and spent the morning exploring the little farm with its abundance of produce, gorgeous flowers and variety of animals. The bathhouse with toilets, sink, hot shower and ac was a welcome surprise, and looks like it came out of the pages of a magazine! It was also stocked with some basics in case you forget your shampoo (like me) or toothpaste. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this place.
