This was one of my favorite hipcamps! While yes the site is close to the house, it still feels secluded with lots of tree cover. Be prepared for sand! There's a dog that runs around but she is very friendly and got along great with my dog. Bathroom is in a camper, and there's even a shower. This place is a gem for sure!

Although it was over 90 when I arrived, the shady site was cool and breezy. Very private. Air conditioned RV for bathroom and fridge and coffee maker. Ample space and seating. And Ron, the host could not have been nicer. I'd return anytime.

Beautiful property! Soon after we arrived and were setting up Lisa came to check on us to make sure we were okay. We were close to Lewes Bay and had a great day exploring Lewes bay and even took the ferry to Cape May. If we pass through this way again, will definitely try to stay here again!

Huck & Buck Farm (Hosted by Andrea & Michael Haritos) is absolutely phenomenal—one of the best camping and farm-stay experiences we've ever had! We spent 3 nights and 2 days and fell in love for two standout reasons: 1. Luxurious Bathhouse Experience The bathroom felt more like a high-end hotel suite than a campsite amenity. Sparkling clean with hot showers, air conditioning, fresh towels, and even enhanced with toiletries—WOW! 2. Authentic Farm‑to‑Table & Nature Connection We immersed ourselves in nature and farming life. Andrea led us on a warm, personalized tour of the grounds and generously shared her fresh produce—including duck, goose, and chicken eggs, beets, garlic, and fragrant rosemary. Cooking in our camper felt authentic and delicious—real farm-to-table magic. Andrea went above and beyond in every interaction—sharing stories, insights, and making sure we felt genuinely welcome. Since our stay, we’re officially formal clients, receiving their freshly harvested produce delivered straight to our office! We highly recommend Huck & Buck Farm for anyone seeking a unique, rejuvenating camping spot with exceptional comfort and authentic farm engagement. We’ll definitely be back!

We arrived after 12 am and it was great! Its quiet and well maintained. Seeing all the kitties were a huge plus for my family (mostly my 4 year old) would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone!

Kamping with the Kitties was an amazing experience for my boyfriend and me. We found a nice spot with a fire pit and chairs and enough shade to pitch a tent. The cats came by to say their hellos! Marvin, the grey cat, is very friendly and slept with us in our tent :) A lot of the money goes towards helping feed and house these cats, so it’s a great way to spend your money. The price was amazing and the spot is clean and comfortable! Kimberly is amazing and friendly and made our experience here much more memorable and pleasurable! Highly recommend this area for all types of groups and we’ll definitely be back to visit in the future. :)

Weekend Trip to 1850's Greenock Farm, plus 4WD site

Randy is ace—very responsive and on top of things. The 4x4 site was not fancy, but it is perfect if all you are looking for is a mowed spot in the woods with a fire ring (perfect for my needs). The road to get to the spot is not as tight as it looks, just use common sense and take it easy. All in all, perfect.

Weekend Trip to Countryside Horse Farm

Loredana was a great host! She was very helpful guiding us to our site and helping us stay cool with homemade beet sorbet and providing ice when we needed it. We got to spend time with her and the horses petting and taking care of them one of the days. The campsite was absolutely beautiful and we had a great stay. I have nothing negative to say about Loredana or the camp site. We will definitely be coming back to spend more time with her and the horses for another relaxing weekend. There are also many places around the area if you need anything. Thank you so much for an amazing long weekend!

Weekend Trip to Levin's Waterfront @ Blackwater

Beautiful campsite, the hosts were very friendly and willing to accommodate us during our stay. The location was secluded and provided easy access to Blackwater Wildlife Refuge. I will be visiting again and would recommend to a friend.

It is a great trailer. The land is beautiful. Remember you are on a farm though so bring your insect spray. We loved our stay! The hosts were hospitable.

I had a wonderful time on the Huck and Buch campground. Andrea was a wonderful host helping me set up my tent. I had a space that accommodated six people comfortably. The bathroom with the shower was very pretty, it had everything you needed if you didn't have it. It was big enough to accommodate washing up a few children at one time. The hold experience of my site and seeing the animals was very inviting. I would definitely book another trip.

Secluded campsite on the water. Very private. Lots of birds. Very flat. My 2wd vehicle made it very easily. We loved having no one around. Picnic bench provided with fire pit. Bring bug repellent! I'd love to come back in the fall!

1 night at Bald Eagle Farm on the Patuxent

We stayed at site #3 “River”. Beautiful private shaded spot perched in the forest overlooking the marsh and river. Riparian wonderland filled with songbirds, hummingbirds, and frogs. Son delighted in seeing a pair of bald eagles soaring high above the campsite. Directions were clear and host responsive when we arrived. Just make sure and bring your own firewood, since none was available upon our arrival, and the woods had a limited supply to scavenge.

2 nights at Tiny House on a Forest Homestead

Samantha was an incredible host. I booked this property day off as me and my girlfriend were looking for a quick escape from the city for a night. Samantha was incredibly accommodating and allowed us to have the absolutely perfect mini vacation we were looking for. Will definitely be returning as well as recommending friends to rent the property. 10 out of 10.

Located on private gravel lane, approximately 1/2 mile off county road. Either corn or soybeans with a woods backdrop. Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach. Check out individual sites for description, each has its own personality. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. First listing actually has several options. For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills. Field of Dreams and Sycamore Ridge will accommodate campers under 25 feet with some backing/maneuvering skills. For those with 4WD and an off-road camper/trailer/tent choose Off the Grid, two entrances for easy access, travel along a logging road to an open site with fire pit. Suitable during dry conditions and not responsible for damage to vehicle or camper. Great spot for those who truly want to be in the woods off the beaten path, site takes about 5 minutes to reach due to low-speed access.
