50 acres with 30-acre private pond, 11 RV lots 7 of which are full time occupied by water ski club. Lake has good catch and release fishing, swimming, and paddle sports. Sites have water and 30amp electric hookups. Sites are all east facing with beautiful morning sunrise and afternoon shade. Close to hiking and biking trails and 45 minutes to Delaware and Maryland beaches. Lots of wildlife on property including bald eagles, fish hawks, blue heron, otter, and many land animals with almost daily deer sightings. Close to Nanticoke River and Phillips Landing boat ramp. Area hosts several fall festivals, 5-K events, mini and full triathlons, several historic areas of interest including very first Mason-Dixon marker and Harriett Tubman underground railroad tour.

We had our tear drop camper at site 11 on the end. Beautiful scenic view of the water. Peaceful and quiet. We traveled out this way to visit Trap Pond state park. We chose this site because we like a more quiet camping experience and the state parks are usually booked out. We were greeted by the owner, provided a picnic table, trash can, umbrella, wood and a fire pit! We will recommend to friends. Our first stay with the Hipcamp community was a success! Thank you for a great experience Raymond. Your property was great.

My dogs and I enjoyed a great 3-night stay at this oasis. It was an ideal base for aquatic adventures and we had a great time fishing, exploring, and relaxing. The energetic and accommodating hosts work hard and give everything a warm and welcoming family vibe. The pond provided great angling, with plenty of eager largemouth bass and some really beefy bluegill plus a scattering of chain pickerel. It was marvelous having it all just steps from our tent.

This was the perfect place for our family to get away and enjoy some quality family time. We had a blast fishing the pond (we caught bass, pickerel and sunnies) and our six kids enjoyed the water slide most of all. Everyone we met during our stay was friendly, the owner was welcoming and has seriously thought of everything. We were offered the use of a canoe during our stay, life jackets provided for all ages and we even had the privilege of a boat ride around the pond. If you are looking for a place where you will want to come back again and again this is the place. We truly enjoyed having the opportunity to share in the owners little slice of heaven and hope to come back. Very dog and kid friendly: we are a family of 8 + dog.
