HORSES WELCOME!  Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day.  There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay.  We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom.  It can easily sleep six people.  If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area.  The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in.  This is a sanctuary for our animals.  We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies).  By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals.  We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks.  There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores.  If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles.  We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up.  We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you.  So please come, stay at our farm and relax.  We are here year round.

We can provide you with water from our deep well. We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible and provide a restroom in the case of an "emergency". There are three campsites on the farm, one by the pond and two by the river. Very secluded and all sites include , firepit, log bench, and a picnic table that seats 3-4 people. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. AT THIS TIME WE ARE OUT FOR THE SEASON. The original river campsite has been moved to a more remote spot so that all campers can access the pond and pier to the river. Farm encompasses nearly 300 acres on the Patuxent River. There is access to the river on high tide via our private creek (must bring your own canoe or kayak) and 150 acres of marshland. Over 100 acres of woods to walk through and a pond for wildlife watching. HORSES WELCOME!  Why not run your horse on the beach, then come to our campsites to relax for the rest of your day.  There is a fenced pasture positioned next to the sites so you can see your faithful friend enjoying some grass or hay.  We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom.  It can easily sleep six people.  If you have your own RV, we have a full hook up at the same area.  The pasture where your horse stays will also have hay, water and shelter with a run-in.  This is a sanctuary for our animals.  We have nine animals here, four horses (some minnies) and five donkeys (some minnies).  By staying here, you will be helping us to support our animals.  We are in Frankford, De which is close to all the beaches and parks.  There are many shopping adventures awaiting you, either outlets or upcycle stores.  If you just want to relax, there is a small pond out back stocked with bass and turtles.  We have 17+ acres but we only use the front five acres and leave the rest for the deer, foxes, eagles, hawks and whatever else shows up.  We believe this is Heaven on earth and would love to share it will you.  So please come, stay at our farm and relax.  We are here year round.

Camp in a backyard in a quiet area with a barn and horses nearby. Site 1 has water hookup and a 30 amp and 110 outlet available. Site 2 has water access and a 110 outlet available. Site 3 is for tent camping only and is more secluded. It does have water access available. These sites are a great spot to watch the sunset or watch the stars at night. These all are self contained camping spots. I do have two very friendly dogs that will most likely come say hi to you. Dewey Beer is 1 mile away in Harbeson. Lewes beach is only about 10 minutes away and Rehoboth beach is about 20 minutes away. Sports at the beach is only 5 miles away. Tanger outlets is 8 miles away. Delaware Turf sports complex is 24 miles. There are many great restaurants and shopping nearby. Feel free to ask for recommendations!

This camp is a very quiet rural location (45 minutes to Lewes and Cape May Ferry) and has a great list of amenities. The camp hosts are welcoming and very helpful. Shout-out to Dave for assisting us on arrival. The animals are cool and mostly friendly. The pool looked nice as did the meadery- didn't have time to try these. The nature walk was really nice and easy to follow. Now to the sites themselves - if you're looking at a full hook-up site, you will need to bring plenty of waste line and water line as the utility layout is challenging. Our recommendation is to call ahead and ask about site layout. Upon departure we ended up dumping our full grey and black tanks at Killen Pond State Park about 9 miles away. For those with 30-Amp rigs, do have a 50-amp converter in your electric box for flexibility in site selection. Overall, a nice long weekend stay with friendly hosts.

We visited the Strawberry Crossroads in early Nov to enjoy the fall foliage. We rented one of the small wooden cabins, which had 6 individual bunks with mats, a small fridge, a small table, a trash can, ceiling light and fan, and a cooler/heater. The land was beautiful with a lovely creek and a cute wooden bridge that crosses over it. We enjoyed the goats and chickens, and just the overall beautiful nature. The hosts were very responsive, kind, and relaxed. We had a great time and will recommend to friends/family.
