Suzette and her husband were friendly and very helpful. Their site was shady and quiet and on a separate drive away from the hosts' house. The 30 Amp hookup was well placed and worked without a hitch. While they were up-front about water you have to be prepared and fill up your fresh water tank before arrival. They can (and did) assist with getting water from their outside spigot if and when you need it, but they did not have a hose long enough to get down to the camper site so you have to bring your camper to the spigot.

Hard to park RV and NO water hookup

We enjoyed our stay at this Hipcamp location once we were able to safely park our RV into the campsite (1.5hrs later). The site is paved with a steep incline along with low hanging branches/debris which made it extremely difficult to park our 31’ RV (travel trailer) plus 19’ tow vehicle into the site. After unhooking/hooking up our RV twice we were able to squeeze into the site. Once parked with slide out and steps extended our RV had 1’ clearance (slide side) and even less clearance on the RV entry side. Consequently, RV awning was not usable (tree in the way) and the RV steps were extended into the woods (not on paved pad). Our RV was too large for this site and there was not a water hookup (Hipcamp states 34’ with water hookup). Thankfully, the host allowed us to fill our tank from her home outside hose before parking our RV into the site. We wish we aware the site did not include water hookup and the size restrictions of 34’ includes both RV/tow-vehicle. Regardless, we had a peaceful 5 night stay. The host greeted us when we arrived and when we left the site. The area is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. I suggest the host groom the site (trim/remove site debris) and the clarify the Hipcamp description for 34’ (includes both RV & tow vehicle) and remove water hookup/potable water.

This was a very nice and quiet place to stay! I felt completely safe, and the rope lighting was a neat addition to the site. The water wasn't at the site, due to it being winter, but Suzette allowed me to fill my fresh water tank at her house, just up the hill from the site. I would definitely request to come back if I'm ever in the area again!

I never met the host and I wasn't greeted by anyone when I arrived, All communication was via text message from the hipcamp app. I've traveled to other countries and all over the United States and this is the first time that the host didn't come out to formally greet me upon arrival. Other than that I had a good time relaxing in my RV.

Great spot to visit the surrounding area. Super quiet and peaceful. Very shady, which is nice,
but leads to low reception for Skylink if you use that system for internet. However, we had good Verizon cell reception. I would definitely recommend this spot if you need a comfortable base camp for exploring the area!

The spot is paved and pretty level, which made set-up pretty easy. There is room for parking an additional vehicle, with plenty of room. It's wooded and next to a creek, in a quiet neighborhood . We will stay there again.

The driveway is easy to access, well maintained and perfectly located close to DC, Annapolis and History St. Mary’s City. It was the perfect springboard for our trip into the district.

Quiet, private space in a heavily wooded area in a nice neighborhood. Good restaurants nearby. Kayaking at Kings Landing Park. Chesapeake Beach is a cute little beach town with a small beach and a nice little park.
The RV space is a little tricky getting in and out of because the driveway is narrow and not much room to maneuver. For reference, we have a 32' trailer pulled by a full size pickup. The 30A electric was reliable.

The spot was marked on Google Maps accurately, getting there was easy. Parking is a little difficult if backing in a trailer, make sure you pull past the site and back down the hill. With Verizon I had limited cell service. There is water available to fill your freshwater tank, but you draw water from the spigot full time. The spot is very private and in perfect placement to explore DC, the Chesapeake Bay, and we went near Baltimore as well. No issues with power or anything else.

The woods view is pretty, and the setup is pretty! Leveling blocks at the site definitely helped get the van to a comfortable balance for sleeping. It’s near the house, but it’s got plenty of trees around the site. Suzette is very nice and helpful! We had lots of fun!

Great communication with the host! Suzette was very responsive during my stay. I travel for work much like a travel nurse, & have booked this site several times. It is hands down one of the best sites in Maryland considering the amenities offered and the quiet serene location. Great place to wind down after a long day of work or play in the DC area!

This is a very quite and private parking space. I enjoyed taking my dogs for walks in the morning and evenings and seeing the BEAUTIFUL landscaping that all of the residents do such a wonderful job at keeping up. There is a small lake near/on the property which is nice to walk over to. One thing I really liked was getting to see the stars after lights out on a clear night. I would absolutely recommend this space 10/10.
It's a dry level surface or very close to level with Water hookup and electric hookup available.
A picturesque and romantic space to spend some quite time away from the hustle and bustle.
One thing I did not like were the spiders. But it's a very woodsy area. And you can't do much about the ways of nature 🤷🏽♀️.
Suzette has been an amazing host! Very responsive and hospitable.
I will definitely return for another stay!
