Most Maryland state parks and national parks in the region are pet-friendly, and there are also a number of private dog-friendly camping options across the state. Camp with the wild horses—and your pup—on the beach in Assateague State Park, or head to Deep Creek Lake State Park, where dogs are welcome in the waters, trails, and some camping loops. Pets are also allowed in some cabins at Herrington Manor State Park and New Germany State Park, as well as in the campground and trails at Cunningham Falls State Park and Gambrill State Park, among others. Old Saltys Restaurant is 1.5 miles away and are currently open Wednesday through Sunday serving local seafood dinners and have an outside seasonal Tiki Bar open on the weekends with live music most Saturdays. Gootee's Marine & Fishing Charters is 6.8 miles away with a full marine mechanic staff and several charter boats for local fishing trips and Light House Tour charters. There is another public boat ramp behind Gootee's Marina with a large parking area.

Horses are allowed, please let us know ahead of time if you're bringing horses or dogs. The property features a small field, vast wooded areas, and plenty of space for you to park your RV or set up a tent anywhere within the grounds. While hunting is not permitted, this is a safe and tranquil spot to park your RV, van, or tent for the night and immerse yourself in nature. Relax and unwind as you enjoy birdwatching, grilling, or sitting by the fire pit under the stars. There are multiple spaces available for RVs and tents, though please note that electricity and water are not yet available. Located on the scenic Eastern Shore, the property offers picturesque views of woodlands and neighboring farmlands, complete with rolling hills and abundant wildlife. It’s an ideal base for exploring nearby parks, cycling on quiet backroads, and accessing riverways just a mile away for boating, fishing, and kayaking. Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach. Check out individual sites for description, each has its own personality. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. First listing actually has several options. For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills. Field of Dreams and Sycamore Ridge will accommodate campers under 25 feet with some backing/maneuvering skills. For those with 4WD and an off-road camper/trailer/tent choose Off the Grid, two entrances for easy access, travel along a logging road to an open site with fire pit. Suitable during dry conditions and not responsible for damage to vehicle or camper. Great spot for those who truly want to be in the woods off the beaten path, site takes about 5 minutes to reach due to low-speed access.
