Willet Family Farm
Really enjoyed staying at Jeremy’s hipcamp. Instructions were really clear and campsite was private. I liked the no contact check in/out, but that being said, Jeremy was quick to reply when we needed something. There are also a lot of cool birds nearby and you wake up across from horses! Great spot.

Great experience!!
Really nice spot! I stayed overnight with my sons, walked around the farm and saw lots of animals, and the kids played basketball on the hoop there. We loved Martin, their farm dog. And the bathroom facility and space were clean and perfect for us. We will definitely be back!

Willet Family Farm
First time use of the HIPCAMP program! Had a few reservations but learned it to be very useful and an easy way to connect with the host. Jeremy and his family were awesome and did a great job giving us what we needed! We are used to dispersed style camping, but this was a quick drive to get away from the city. While there was a little road noise from the main highway, being able to see a beautiful farm and it’s animals, plus having a dedicated area and privacy (even though it’s on private property there is privacy), we loved it! Jeremy and his family were very friendly and made sure to have firewood and whatever we needed available.
This is a great way to get away for a bit and see some stars, so if you are on the fence, give it a try! Special thanks to the family Greeter Martin that made sure we were welcomed and acted like a concierge to the place one get got unpacked. Thanks Jeremy and family!

My partner and I had a beautiful 2 day experience at the willet family farm! We really loved Martin, the farm dog! His company brought us a lot of joy! He was so sweet and cuddly! The entire property is gorgeous and Jeremy and his family are so kind! We look forward to visiting again soon!

Willet Family Farm
The farm is beautiful. The site is directly across from the horses, so as soon as we got there we saw them walking across the field. A wheelbarrow was there for us to bring the firewood to the fire pit, a large trashcan and recycling bin were next to the portapotty, the fire pit had a poker (which was nice touch) and a grill grate, and the picnic table was clean and in good condition. Loved the contactless check-in, but they do have a guide book at the site that explains everything you need to know. They also provided kindling for the fire, big spray and hand sanitizer. The portapotty was fine. After we got set up, we walked around the property and took some photos. We also met Martin, their farm dog, who came to say hi to us and our puppy a few times during the night (such a good boy!). We had a great stay and enjoyed the privacy as there are no other sites on the farm.

Willet Family Farm
Beautiful farm and a very accommodating campsite. Pull right up to the site with firewood waiting for you. Great night sky views and visits from a very friendly dog Martin! So convenient to have a picnic table, fire pit and firewood, and porta-potty at the site. Plenty of room for larger groups to set up camp. There’s a little road noise but it dies down at night, consider bringing ear plugs for road noise or neighbors dogs protecting the farms.

Quick Getaway
The views of the fall foliage were a beautiful backdrop to the horses in the field. Fresh eggs from their farm were an extra bonus. Even though we were close to home we still felt like we were in a different and relaxing environment.

Fall Glamping
My daughters and I had a great time glamping on the Willet Family Farm. The tent was completely set up and adorable. We got there later than expected so it was awesome to not have to do anything but make a fire. The girls loved Martin, petting the horses, and checking out the chickens. The land is so beautiful. An ideal location. Would love to go back!

Two night stay
Stayed two nights. Beautiful place. Martin visited us many times and we enjoyed watching the horses. Rained so didn’t get to meet the host and family or check out the farm animals. But hope to return and will then.

Suite Fika Glamping on a Farm
Perfect addition to our staycation
Glamping at the Willet Family Farm was the beginning and highlight of our staycation. We are Carroll County residents and mapped out fun things to do all over the county for a week, beginning with this night of glamping. It was the just right way to set the tone of our staycation as it was so peaceful and relaxing. Communication with Jeremy throughout the process was perfect.
-The yurt is perfect on every level. It got cold the night we were there (down to 45 degrees) so I packed an extra quilt. We never got cold and did not need the propane heater in the yurt.
-There is a firepit and plenty of dry, cut wood for your use (you venmo as you go for payment) as well as a metal grate to cook over the fire if you need it
-It's totally private
-Martin is an absolute highlight of the experience. I missed him when we left
-It is a family farm so expect an early rise, which is great because then you won't miss the sunrise. We got up and made a fire and some coffee and watched the sunrise which is spectacular and another highlight of the experience.

Wonderful Location!
Great night at the Willet Family Farm! After driving all day in torrential rain, we arrived at the Farm at the conclusion of the storm, with horses in a nearby meadow and Martin the dog waiting for us - as well as farm fresh eggs! The eggs were delicious the next morning for breakfast. We also met Jeremy and his family who seemed very kind and welcoming. The location is very convenient to the Gettysburg National Park - only about 20 minutes away. We highly recommend the Willet Family Farm!

We found Willet Family Farm a great spot to stay for a few days!
There was a good sized grassy area with great views of the field and the horses hanging out there.
It was easy to find and we were able to find a good spot to set our tent up.
Also enjoyed the fire pit and the porta pottie was very clean. Also great to meet Martin the dog.

Nice view of the farm with a big open space to set up our little camper. Kids loved getting to walk around and check out the animals on the farm and took quite a liking to their friendly farm dog There is a great orchard with lots of things for kids to do and play on right down the street as well.

Horses and sunset were beautiful scenery. Excellent fire pit and chairs provided! Noise from the road is a bit loud and the ground is not level but all and all we had a wonderful nights rest!

The farm was very nice and the kids had fun seeing Martin (dog) a few times. It was well equipped and the site was plenty big with a nice view. I would definitely go back if I needed to stay in the area again.

Camping on the Willett Family Farm
We enjoyed camping on Jeremy's land very much. Waking up to the horses in the misty field was so beautiful and peaceful. We got a visit from Jeremy's dog each day as well :)
We loved that firewood was available and had intended to use the fire pit, but it was so hot that weekend that we opted not to use it. The camper and our truck fit nicely in the space with plenty of room to spare. We would definitely recommend this scenic spot to camp.

We had a lovely time camping at the Willet Family Farm! It’s a nice peaceful spot to escape the hustle and bustle. Farm fresh eggs and available firewood were definite pluses, as was watching the horses out in the pasture and getting to meet Martin the livestock guardian dog.

Suite Fika Glamping on a Farm
Our quick Father’s Day camping trip to Willet Farm was so lovely. The owner was very helpful and made everything to easy, and they even left us a Father’s Day treat for my husband. Suite Fika was beautiful, and so cozy and comfortable. Martin was an excellent ambassador! The site is set on a hill, but you don’t seem to notice it.

Very nice stay with a lovely farm view. The dog was sweet and friendly to our one year old. The horse let us pet them. A little finding a flat enough spot for the RV but overall a gem as the night sky was very pretty.

Glamping for two
The yurt is super clean and decorated perfectly. The wasn’t the softest but you are camping! Definitely better than sleeping on the floor of a tent. It was extremely hot so we had to cut our stay short. It would be nice if there was a tree nearby to offer some shade at the picnic table. It would also be nice if the picnic table was flat. Our stuff kept sliding off. Martin was a total sweetheart and kept watch over us-a very welcome addition for us dog lovers. The location was great and easy to find. There are some great restaurants nearby too so you don’t have to grill. They even had birthday cupcakes for us as we were celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. That was so thoughtful! It was really nice not having to worry about setting up and breaking down a tent too. We will be back again in cooler months. Thanks for a great stay!

Great telework location!
Jeremy was very communicative as needed and made us feel welcomed and at home. Contactless check-in was great as we were able to be a little more flexible in our arrival time and also get straight to making dinner when we got there. Hipcamp location is the gravel area to the left shortly after you turn into the driveway. It has a beautiful view of the fields, but does not offer much privacy if that’s something you are needing. The farm seems very community oriented which we appreciated. There is a box with extra supplies and several pages of information provided about the area, such as their partnership with Brewery Fire in Taneytown, local hiking trails, and pay-what-you-can produce stand they keep by the mailbox. Oh and about their dog Martin who wanders the farm keeping things safe. We are looking forward to returning as a telework location during the week!
