- Wifi available at all sites.
- Plentiful firewood, available on a pay-what-you-will basis.
Please note: From December to March, the access road to get to our property occasionally gets icy (we plow it but do not salt). 4WD/AWD and/or snow tires is recommended during those months.

Historic downtown Cumberland, MD is just a 12-min drive away, with supermarkets, shops, restaurants, train rides and beautiful mountain views. Check out the C&O Canal Towpath and Great Allegheny Passage for hiking and biking.
Please note, this is family homestead, and there are two houses on the property.
FYI:
- Hot-water showers, flush toilets and an equipped kitchenette with small fridge, coffeemaker and microware are available for your use.
- Two campsites are available. Each includes a picnic table, fire pit, and two Adirondack chairs for your use.
- A treehouse-like tiny house in the woods is available. Fully equipped with heat/AC and tiny kitchen, it is steep 1/4 mile hike perfect for those who like a little adventure. (I will bring up your luggage and supplies in the 4-wheeler).
- Wifi available at all sites.
- Plentiful firewood, available on a pay-what-you-will basis.
Please note: From December to March, the access road to get to our property occasionally gets icy (we plow it but do not salt). 4WD/AWD and/or snow tires is recommended during those months.

The Agape is located on 20 acres and over 2000' of shoreline in Maryland’s Eastern Shore, with breath taking sunsets every evening.
Pull up your RV [or rent ours], pitch a tent, kick up your feet and relax by the water. Soak in the sounds of nature and the sight of wild birds, from the Osprey, Bald Eagle and even the Great Blue Heron.
We are a pack it in, pack it out leave-no-trace camping site. There are no hookups, but during your stay, feel free to patronize the entire property.
The views of the Wye River from the dock are absolutely beautiful and peaceful! There is also plenty of water for fishing, crabbing and even a small, man-made beach!
OUTDOOR POOL AND RAFT USE - The outdoor pool is closed indefinitely. There is a 4-person raft and a 2-person inflatable kayak available, for an additional fee per day. Both require PRIOR APPROVAL and a WAIVER to utilize.

1 night at Grasshopper Acres
Spacious land with neighbors far enough away that you’ll never feel crowded. It’s a glamping style experience that still captures the spirit of real camping and you get the atmosphere without the hassle of setting up and breaking down all your gear.
The tent itself is huge, easily fitting an additional 2–3 cots beyond the 2 already provided, which come with sheets and blankets. (Bring your own extra blankets if you’re expecting a cold night.) A small space heater inside the tent keeps things warm, and there’s a composting BOXIO toilet with a foot pump sink nearby. There are plenty of other amenities too, but it's too many to list here.
One thing to be aware of: this site is genuinely off grid. It’s a few miles from the main road, and the further in you go, the narrower, rougher, and less paved the roads get. It felt a little eerie, though the host does disclose this upfront.
No real complaints, this spot works for just about anyone. The host was incredibly accommodating, informative, and kind. Would absolutely return if I find myself in the area again.

This was a great spot! We came in the winter and there's little insulation or warmth in the A-frames, but it was a great getaway. The nearby alpacas are friendly and very curious. We didn't get to meet the host but he was very helpful offering directions and making us at home in the location. Would recommend only visiting in spring/summertime, but would be happy to come again.

Weekend Trip to Strawberry Crossroads
We visited the Strawberry Crossroads in early Nov to enjoy the fall foliage. We rented one of the small wooden cabins, which had 6 individual bunks with mats, a small fridge, a small table, a trash can, ceiling light and fan, and a cooler/heater. The land was beautiful with a lovely creek and a cute wooden bridge that crosses over it. We enjoyed the goats and chickens, and just the overall beautiful nature. The hosts were very responsive, kind, and relaxed. We had a great time and will recommend to friends/family.

We loved camping at Julie’s! When we arrived she help get us to the site (it was dark out already) and showed us around. Every amenity was thought of. There were even cute lights on the cooking tent and on the walk to the other site. We rented both sites for our large group. The property is beautiful and we had the best time!

We had such a great visit! The owner let us join him to feed the animals which were all so friendly. The A frames were adorable but note that you are literally only provided with a mattress with sheets and that you should bring chairs to sit around the fire and blankets if it is going to be cold. Had an amazing stay and would recommend to all my friends looking for slightly more comfortable camping where you have to bring minimal gear!
