Weekend Trip to Sistermoon Farm

I stayed at Maria’s for one night with my son. It was very easy to find and came stocked with all essentials, which made things very easy. It was probably the most organized and effortless Hipcamp we’ve stayed at. We roasted marshmallows and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The location is also really close to Harper’s ferry with all that it has to offer. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet and easy glamping experience.

1 night at Wildflower Farm

We spontaneously scheduled a trip down here and enjoyed our stay. It rained the whole time but the tent kept the water out very well. The outhouse was very clean and not smelly at all so long as you follow directions. We couldn’t figure out the sink turn on but didn’t have any troubles otherwise and would stay again.

Weekend Trip to Beespoke Farms

This place was truly an incredible spot to spend the weekend. Unfortunately we were hit with some spring rain throughout our trip but that didn’t hinder our stay at all. Michael (the host) and CJ (the caretaker) were incredibly hospitable and made our entire group feel welcome! We loved getting to try some fresh duck eggs and feeding the alpacas! The A-Frames with their built-in decks made for perfect protection from the rain. The view of the valley was beautiful (again despite the fog) and I can’t even begin to imagine how beautiful it would be on a completely clear day. I would 100 percent come back here anytime!

What a fantastic get away. I highly recommend visiting. It’s extremely peaceful. The set up of both the small cabin and camping area is great. We were able to completely relax and enjoy the weekend!

Beautiful place! Very quiet. We rented both cabins. A lot of animals. We made a tour and were able to interact with alpacas, chickens, sheeps etc. The sunset and sunrise were amazing. Michael and CJ are good hosts and were always attentive to anything we might need. We will definitely go back there this year. Thank you!

Weekend Trip to Beespoke Farms

My husband and I booked these A frames for my one year olds birthday. We had the BEST time. CJ and his daughter River were SO welcoming and sweet. They made us feel right at home! It was amazing to unplug from our busy lives, be around animals and spend family time. 10/10 recommend!! We will definitely be back!

3 nights at Tiny Hidden Ridge

We loved the tiny house on Tara's farm. Tara was incredibly helpful with any request and for helping us pick the best sights to visit during our stay. The house and farm are inviting, clean and friendly! This includes the three goats who absolutely loved having visitors around! Highly recommend this as a nice place to camp/stay when visiting in and around Harpers Ferry!

1 night at Montside Orchard Camp, Cabin&Sauna

We stayed here one night on the outbound portion of our trip and one night on our return. It is less than 10 minutes from highway 81. Easy to find. It was peaceful and quiet with a great view. We greatly appreciated the opportunity to stay here.

2nd stay at Mulehalla. Once again I was the only one staying at the camp. Super clean. Easy in and easy out. Will definitely stay again if in the area. Highly recommend staying here.

I had the most amazing solo trip to Bespoke Farms for my birthday, and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience! From start to finish, everything was perfect. Michael, the owner, was incredibly communicative and friendly, making me feel welcome and at ease from the moment I reached out. CJ, the caretaker, was absolutely wonderful – so sweet and knowledgeable. I truly wish I had gotten his Facebook or something, as he gave me the most memorable and thorough farm tour, sharing the beauty and stories of the farm. The farm itself is a true gem, and I had to try the fresh eggs – they were absolutely delicious, and I even took some home with me! It’s clear that Bespoke Farms is growing and upgrading bit by bit, and that’s so exciting to see. I would highly recommend this place to anyone, and I’ll definitely be back with friends to share this peaceful oasis. Of course, I can’t forget about the animals – they were absolutely amazing! Spending time with them and enjoying the quiet, peaceful atmosphere under the wide open sky was such a calming experience. Plus, there are some great hikes nearby, making it the perfect getaway for anyone looking to connect with nature. I loved my time at Bespoke Farms and can’t wait to return to see how the farm has grown. 10/10 recommend!

Weekend Trip to Tiny Hidden Ridge

What a nice place to stay! I only stayed one night, but the cottage had everything I could need, and the farm was a nice quiet escape from routine. The instruction inside the cottage were a big help for dishes/toilet since there isn't running water, but the bottles of drinking water were great. I loved seeing the goats and the view of the sunset and the stars. Great stay!

2 nights at Montside Orchard Camp, Cabin&Sauna

Kaite is a good host. The cabin is in good shape. If you don't mind cheap monks running around the roof, you will be all right. If you are using the boiler to heat the room, I recommend put 1 or 2 logs per time, don't go over 3 because the temperature will hit so high. The space is small, for one person, but you can find peace and reflection there, and also a beautiful sky with thousands of stars.

Had a great time staying at this tiny home with my pup! Charming, clean, cozy, and such a beautiful place to stay. The tiny house is well equipped and the location is incredibly peaceful. Would definitely recommend!

There is also a small communal shed down at camp that contains extra camping supplies, etc.. feel free to use use and put back and or/ contribute to it! :) This spot is close by to Berkeley Springs, Paw Paw Tunnel, Cacapon State Park, and other nature preserves. More hiking, biking, restaurants, spas, antiquing- all within a beautiful 20 minute drive if you wish to venture out. There is a cabin on the property. Sometimes I"ll come down to the river frontage if I drop in for a float .Also, we all get around on four wheelers and UTV's. So you will hear them from time to time. If I am home, please feel free to come up if you have any concerns/questions or to say hi! :) *Please note, you can normally get to this site without a 4 wheel drive vehicle. However, when the river is high it will sometimes flood the low water bridge where it crosses the Cacapon. About Tyme Farm is a 26 plus acre privately owned farm used for crops such as corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The property includes a 150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet. The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning. Electric, water, fire pit and a Port a Pot is available even for rough campers. Pets welcome but must be on a leash or exercise pen or with their owners in some way while here for their safety. There is a large fenced yard for dogs that just have to run if needed. Glamorous camping with a furnished heated/cooled cabin is available for rent by the night for those who do not have camping equipment or do not want to rough it. For those that have been camping before and have all the equipment there is plenty of room for a tent or camper near the buildings or by the stream or woods. For RV owners there is 50amp electric service in the barn. You will need an RV extension cord to access it. I have a 100 ft RV ext. cord but it can be farther than that depending on where you park. Bring one of your own to be sure. It is a farm and not set up like an RV park with numerous outlets.

Camps at Evensong Farm

Evensong Farm is a preserved historic farm adjacent to the Antietam National Battlefield. We have set up two, almost identical, sites on a 60 acre parcel of our farm which is very private for our campers, but allows access to the lovely Antietam Creek. The sites themselves are about 500 feet apart so, while they maintain privacy when booked by different parties, can also be booked together for group stays. We have been hosting campers at our "glampsites" since 2021. Each off-grid site has a 12x16 platform with a 10x12 canvas side wall tent, a firepit and chairs, a cooking area with a grill and sink for washing up, a picnic table and benches, and a private bathroom with a composting toilet and solar shower bag. The main tent is set up for 2 people, although 4 is possible. The sites can handle a max of 12 people, with the use of additional tents (BYO or you can set up some of ours). We provide an electronic camp guide to all of our campers that include our recommendations for things to do in the area, as well as camping tips and other handy info. Inside the tent you will find a queen size bed, side tables, and a cafe table and chair set. We have put down foam flooring and a carpet for your comfort and provide numerous battery powered lights, lanterns and fans. In cold months we can add a propane heater to keep the chill away. We also have some games, maps of the area, decks of cards, and a fire extinguisher. Stepping outside the tent you'll find our long rainfly creates a covered porch where you can relax on our provided chairs. There are additional chairs around the firepit and each firepit has a cooking grate so you can cook over your campfire. We provide one bundle of firewood (including kindling) per night with your reservation. We do sell additional firewood, if needed. In our kitchen area you will find a picnic table and chairs, 5 gallons of drinking water, a clean up table that includes a foot operated pump sink with an additional 5 gallons of washing water, a grill (one site has propane and the other has charcoal), trash and recycling bins, grill tools, lighters, plus dish and hand soaps. Our farm is a mile and a half from the town of Sharpsburg, MD, home of the Antietam National Battlefield (and Nutter's Ice Cream Shop). You will find the Appalachian Trail to our east and the C&O Canal to our west (10 minute drive to either).

We ask that you remove all trash and a few other things upon departing to help us stay safe as well.The internet cannot be guaranteed if there is a problem with the provider. In a wooded area bugs are normal. Loud noise or Guest not on the reservation will result in immediate termination and removal. We have a zero tolerance policy.
