The 66-acre property has been licensed as an airport (PS20) since the 1980s. It is currently an active, private airport. We don't sell fuel or offer services beyond camping so we primarily have only air traffic with few to no landings each year. In other words, it is very quiet here except during the occasional low pass. We are very eager for pilots to fly in and camp out! The beautiful sunsets and stargazing night skies are a real treat for anyone that comes to visit. Lots of deer, birds, and other wildlife can be seen out and about. Bring your telescope and binoculars to view all the property has to offer! Note that we are always working to improve our slice of heaven, thus we do have tools, vehicles, and equipment stored around the farm that if not used now will be one day. We appreciate your understanding that some areas are used for our personal / farm storage. If you're not into looking at our farmware, there are a few nearby campgrounds. The hot tub is located next to the owner's home. Guests are welcome to use this at any time but must reserve and pay for a time slot. * Book this through the Extras * We are within walking distance of Swatara State Park and close to the Appalachian Trail. Short drive to the local winery, bowling alley, pub/diner, and movie theater. Grocery stores and gas are also nearby. Miles of hiking, rail trail, single-track mountain biking, and kayaking are all right here! See our kayak and bike rentals under extras! Hershey Park is approximately a 30-minute drive from our location. Rausch Creek, Anthracite, and Reading off-road areas are also nearby. Note: Monthly rental discounts are available. The Treehouse experience is in a central location on part of the 66-acre property. It is in close proximity to the bathroom, hot tub, as well as, our flock of chickens. The treehouse has 3 large windows and a sliding door. There is a wrap-around deck where you can enjoy your coffee and favorite adult beverage on during golden hour. The treehouse measures 8'x8' plus a 5'x8' loft for a total of 104 square feet of living area. It includes a queen bed, a table with a chair, and a futon that folds into a full-size mattress. Ideal for up to 4 people. You may pay for guests beyond 4 but you must also bring your own tent to set up near the treehouse. It's important to note that you must be able to climb a ladder to enter/exit the loft (queen bed). Amenities included: electricity, smart TV with WiFi, bedding with pillows, light string (both indoor and outdoor ambiance), ceiling fan, minimal cookware (you clean), a campfire cooking grate, and a Blackstone griddle with utensils in the outdoor kitchen. A portable heater will be provided during the winter months. You’ll be cozy on the coldest nights! TENT Site - Cherokee Six Plane

Bringing a *tent* or other dwelling arrangement is mandatory!!! Our repurposed 1968 seven-passenger Cherokee Six plane sits high on a ridge overlooking PS20 runway 34-16. Gaze southwest to enjoy incredible panoramic views of Blue Mountain and Swatara Creek Park, beautiful sunsets, starry nights, and the warmth of a crackling smokeless Solo stove! The wing doubles as a picnic table! **Full disclosure: we’ve had multiple guests with allergies and or asthma react to the smell and or possible mold / mildew. The plane is not water tight and it’s suffered years of weathering. We highly recommend photo shoots, however we do not recommend sleeping in the plane. Bring your own tent, RV, etc! At your own risk and after our warning, the plane will accommodate two people on a twin mattress. As you see in the photos it’s tight, so be ready to snuggle! If you are creative a small dog or young child could join you in the front seats. We are allowing up to four additional people if you bring your own tent. It is a rustic experience. Think of a plane crash survival situation. We have recently added a marine battery, solar panel, 12 volt power outlet, a Bluetooth speaker and a fan, as well as cockpit lighting. Up next exterior navigation lights! Bring your own sleeping bags or bedding sets (please don't sleep directly on the mattress), camp gear, and cookware. Firewood is available under extras at 6$ per bundle. We highly recommend the unlimited package to stay cozy. The solo stove will burn a lot of wood! The hot tub is located next to the owner's home. The barn stay features a large kitchen, an open floor plan with a semi-private master, a wood/coal stove, washer dryer, mini split HVAC, full bathroom, endless hot water, bluetooth vent fan, 75” Samsung smart TV w/ soundbar, high speed WiFi, and a shuffleboard table. Enjoy the private grill / fire pit area or your favorite beverage during golden hour on the raised bank barn ramp. It is near the pond (zipline splashdown), hot tub, and rock climbing wall, as well as, our flock of chickens. The barn measures about 30 by 35 feet or about 1000 sqft of living area. It includes a queen bed, a rustic twin over a full bunk bed, a tables with dining seating for 12. Ideal for up to 6 people sleeping wise. You may pay for guests beyond 6 but you must put some bedding on the couches. Amenities included: electricity, 75 inch smart tv, surround sound, WiFi, bedding with pillows, lighting, a ceiling fan, a fully stocked kitchen, and a lighted private campfire area down below the barn. The basement of the barn is our private storage (please stay out). You may also have RV guests in the front yard area of the barn from time to time. Great communication beforehand with the host allowed for an easy setup. Water/electricity/sewage all worked as advertised. Beautiful land; my dog enjoyed the walks! Full coverage if you’re with T-Mobile. Would recommend to anyone who wants a quiet getaway. Plan to return in the future.

Treehouse
Bill and Erin were very attentive. They messaged to check in and see if we needed anything. We slept good in the treehouse and enjoyed seeing all the animals. You could walk to Swatara state park, but we drove and did a really great hike there. Would love to come back in the summer.

Magical treehouse on a farm

Had a wonderful time staying at the treehouse for a late valentines getaway. We loved petting the goats and seeing all the animals. Treehouse was super warm during a “blizzard”. Such a magical feeling waking up to snow outside. Very easy to get to directions very clear. Cannot wait to stay here again !

Bill was super kind and helpful. I had just picked up a new camper from Camping World, arrived later than anticipated , and in January right before a snow storm. He met me, drove me to site, and offered to help where I was unsure. I even got to feed the goats the next day before heading on my way. Lots of land! Id definitely return over the summer, and would recommend.

My husband, dog, and I loved our short overnight stay in the treehouse! It was very cute and cozy even in the cold temperatures. Our dog liked walking along the dirt road and watching the farm animals (from afar of course). We would love to stay again!

Fairview Farms was such a delight. From waking up amongst birdsong, to looking out all of the treehouse windows, to find different animals and expanses of land in each direction. this campsite was absolutely beautiful. the views were vast and incredible, it was easy to find and the full hookups were straight-forward. just don’t forget to check for ticks! we found multiple on us and our dogs. all in all, it was the perfect stop for us on our way to connecticut. we will definitely stay again!

Bill & Erin helped make our wedding plans a reality. We planned a 40 person intimate wedding celebration / group event buyout. Everything was setup perfectly! Bill helped the team with detailed instructions on smoker. Wood was made available at all sites and Bill & Erin even helped by making fires for the different lodging areas. Perfect treehouse

Our time in the treehouse was magical. It was my 13 year old son and I. He is 6’1” and he was able to comfortably sleep in the loft. Bill and everyone at Fairview Farms was welcoming, friendly and helpful. The stargazing was phenomenal; I highly recommend a dip in the hot tub under the stars. I would recommend bringing a heated blanket in the colder months. I brought ours and it was the perfect mix of cold and snuggly warm. There is a heater that works like a charm, with the blanket we only used it during the day.

Quiet Weekend in Pine Grove

We stayed at Fairview Farms Airfield in Pine Grove, Pennsylvania, and it was one of the most peaceful weekends we’ve had in a long time. The property is beautiful, surrounded by rolling hills and open fields that make you instantly relax. It’s quiet, private, and feels like a place where time slows down. Bill was great to talk with—friendly, easygoing, and made sure we had what we needed. The site was level and easy to set up our camper. We really appreciated the thirty dollars a day for unlimited firewood. That was a nice touch, and we made sure not to take advantage of it. Sitting by the fire at night with the stars out and the moon glowing over the ridge was perfect. My dog loved it too, watching everything from the camper window and enjoying the calm. The place has a simple charm that makes you want to stay longer. We’ll definitely be back.

We loved this property! Everything from the air field, airplane, tree house, feeding of the animals. We stayed in our own camper on the property. The hook ups are perfect. Electrical sewer and water! The views of the hills are amazing! The property owners are very friendly and helpful.

We got in late so we ended up staying on to of the hill the view was amazing they had some unique places to stay little cabin tree house was my favorite the host was very nice

Bill and Erin have a beautiful farm. They make you feel like family. The property is scenic and peaceful. This is one of the ultimate spot for pure rest and relaxation. The property owner has anything you need to make your trip perfect... They offer firewood, eggs, grill/smoker, and hot tub packages( all for reasonable fee). They even offer some farm experiences like feeding and snuggling with their goats. My wife have really come to enjoy our time at the Airfield property.

Decent glamping set up with electricity and a wood stove that keeps the tent warm if needed (we stayed at the rustic tent setup). Make sure to bring / be ready to scout for tinder including matches or a lighter. Can sleep four if two people are willing to share the larger bed.

TENT Site - Cherokee Six Plane
We LOVED our experience at the farm! From the beautiful sunrise to sunset things were perfect. Fresh eggs in the morning from the chickens, unlimited (upgrade) firewood brought to our site by Bill and the peaceful atmosphere will no doubt make this charming farm a place we will stay again.

Pasture Overlook Recreation
Beautiful space and comfortable accommodations. Hosts were helpful and responsive but also let me have space and the solitude I was looking for. I would definitely like to stay here again.

We loved camping at Bill & Erin's land. So peaceful, quiet, beautiful and close to a few restaurants. We didn't use the hot tub, so I can't review that, but everything else was awesome. Thank you for hosting us.
