I/we are repeat customers at this cabin. It is a wonderful place, far enough off the beaten path for peace and seclusion. Susan is always a wonderful and accommodating host. She has taken the time to make little notes and check lists so you know what is expected of you. That may sound trivial but I/we appreciate the little extra detail. The cabin is also located in close proximity all kinds of activities. We fish mainly, but there are hiking trails, a very large state park, national forest close by.

The Evergreen Lodge
This was our second time staying at The Evergreen Lodge and it was just as great as the first time! Everything we could need for our stay was supplied by Susan and made the weekend easy. The whole property has such a magical charm to it and our three young kids enjoyed it so much they didn’t want to leave! Will absolutely stay again and will probably make it an annual trip. Thanks Susan!

This was the quintessential lodge experience! The cabin was perfect, with everything you could want, down to red checked tablecloths for the picnic tables. We enjoyed the campfire and woods, and also having a cozy, dry place for a rainy morning.

The Evergreen Lodge was such a perfect little getaway! Words can’t describe how wonderfully put together everything was! The beds were comfortable and the place had everything we needed!
10/10 would recommend and can’t wait to come back!

My friends and I had a wonderful relaxing time here. The cabin was extremely welcoming, cozy and very well equipped with everything we needed. All of the rules and instructions were thorough, and we especially loved all of the furniture, decorations, and overall ambiance that fulfilled our “weekend cabin getaway” dreams. I can’t wait to return.

The Evergreen Lodge was everything we wanted and more! The kitchen was very well stocked with tools and pans. The outdoor space was well lit and beautifully maintained. The cabin was cozy and perfectly decorated and great for a relaxing weekend away. One thing to note is there is little to no service and no WiFi on the mountain! But it perfect if you are looking to unplug.

The Evergreen Lodge
The site was great and really exceeded our expectations as a group! The cabin was incredibly clean and the outdoor space was set up so that we could easily gather around, eat outside, and play games around the table. There was also a ton of firewood for the fire pit, towels provided, snacks, coffee, cooking supplies, and linens on the beds. We could hear voices and cars but couldn't see anyone. The site was very secluded. Everyone in our group agreed that we had an overall great experience!

Our stay at the Evergreen Lodge was wonderful! The site was very private and Sue, our host, was helpful and thoughtful. Would recommend the spot to anyone looking for a getaway or chance to unplug. Great hiking spots nearby! The outdoors is well furnished with picnic tables, fairy lights, and a fire pit. The inside has a great fireplace, comfy couches, and a wonderful kitchen to cook in.

We were so pleased with our stay at the Evergreen Lodge. It is a beautiful lodge in a beautiful location. The lodge was very clean and stocked with all of the necessities you could need for a weekend away, perfect for our stay with our 3 young kids. Sue was very helpful in helping us prepare for our stay. We will definitely be back!

Susan’s property is gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. If you’re picturing a clean, well maintained, cozy, and spacious cabin with ample breakfast and dining nooks and a fire pit — you’re exactly right. Susan had a nice snack box waiting for us and easy to follow instructions (about garbage, doors locking, etc.) Would recommend.

This was exactly what my husband and I needed! We felt very secluded and it was very quiet with the exception of a passing vehicle every now and then (we could not see it, just hear it). Huge fire pit, huge kitchen, very well maintained, clean, and cozy. Kitchen was lacking in good lighting for cooking (for me, at least). One thing to note: with the exception of the queen bedroom on the first level, all other sleeping areas are shared- important to note that there’s little/no privacy in the loft. However, that wouldn’t stop us from bringing a bunch of friends back for a getaway in this gorgeous location. Susan was very responsive- Would definitely recommend to others and return for another visit.

Susan’s place is beyond exceptional! It’s secluded, beautiful, well maintained and is a perfect home away from home. The lodge is very well kept and is stocked with everything you need. The kitchen is a huge, and it has all the essential things you need to cook meals. All in all I had a great experience, would recommend to anyone looking to get away with friends/family. I would definitely come again.
