Site 10 - Mulehalla on the Potomac River
No public trash cans for a lawn type car camping experience. Our campsite backed up to someones backyard with bright porch lights and barking dogs. Photos show the River but there is no access from the campsite, listing should make this clear.

Great camping w easy access to C&O
I camped on a Tuesday night and had the place to myself. It’s a beautiful setting. I picked campsite 10 based on the map, but they were all good. I had a view of someone”s house, but in summer I assume it’s mostly obscured. If you arrive after dark the site numbers are in the sites and not on the road, so I had to guess a little when I pulled in. I did t see a sign for the trail to the C& O access, but was able to figure it out. I’ll definitely camp here again.

Site 10 - Mulehalla on the Potomac River
We tent camped at Mulehalla and it was very peaceful! We had someone stop by soon after arrival to make sure we had everything we needed and made sure to point out where the wood and bathrooms were. I will definitely be back! The sites were not as secluded as I anticipated so if it is busy you will definitely hear the people next to you. A very nice space and I would love to play disc golf the next time I go (we had bad weather with rain) because the course looks awesome!

Site 7 - Mulehalla on the Potomac River
Mulehalla has a nice open field for activities and even has a disc golf course. Sites are very well maintained and nicely spaced. It's also very close to the bike trail. Host was very accommodating. I would definitely go back, especially to check out one of their music events!

Site 10 - Mulehalla on the Potomac River
Found this site for a last minute overnight. The space was well maintained, easy to find, and enjoyable! The hosts were super kind and made sure to check in on us upon arrival. Firewood was available for $5 - cash or venmo. Would consider staying again!
