Love this place! Everything mention was there. Love the lake too.
If they can provide more details hiking trails. It would be awesome. But love this place

Creekside Site #23 @ Buffalo Gap
Absolutely loved this campground!!!
Me and my boyfriend took a last minute camping trip to site #23 at Buffalo-Gap and absolutely loved it! He had never been camping before and wanted to stay near the water so this was the perfect spot for us. The babbling creek right near our tent was the perfect sound to wake up to, and the atmosphere was quiet and serene despite all the other sites nearby being occupied. We will definitely be coming back!!

Creekside Site #21 @ Buffalo Gap
The best spontaneous trip I’ve had.
I came across this hidden gem by accident. I was supposed to go to other campsite however when we got there we didn’t like the vibe so we found Buffalo on Hipcamp. We made awesome friends, got a massage and they even have a cafe. I loved the history of the place but what I loved the most was the spirit of the place and the staff from Jesse, to Barbara and Sean. I can’t wait to come back !

Buffalo Gap Island Group Campsite
Camping in the Past
A camping experience like you stepped back in time. The private island campsite is really wonderful for a small group. The campground itself was incredible from the retro gymnasium, the lake with tons of boating equipment and cafe. Having a closer bathroom and water to be able to clean dishes and such would make this campsite perfect. It isn't a reason not to come because our three families enjoyed the experience immensely.
