PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING... 30 acres of mostly reclaimed farmland. We are located where Glade Creek flows into the Monocacy River. There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive. Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support! Site Three - Pelpa

Perfect for solo campers

It was so lovely to be so close to the river! If it was warmer I would have been perfect to kayak. My campsite felt super private which is exactly what I wanted, but as a female solo camper, I felt super safe staying here. While my car did get stuck in the mud, Jon was super nice and helpful in getting it out for me. I am greatful for his help and hospitality. I was lucky to meet the farm dog too :)

Beautiful scenic camp sites!

Lovely, spacious site near the Monocacy River. We appreciated the trees, shade and greenery. Definitely suggest having a AWD or 4WD vehicle to access the sites- when it rains the creek swells and the banks become muddy. The campsite also became a bit muddy, so bring extra towels! We enjoyed hearing the owls at night and our dog loved romping around. We really enjoyed camping here and plan to return!

Site Three - Pelpa

This was my second time camping here. A few friends came along as well. We all had a great time. It's very relaxing. I'll be returning once the weather warms a bit.

Site North - Mr. Dennis

Tent camping on Jon-Mikel’s land was a blast! Site North (or Site 6) was very private and secluded. Access to the creek is an easy walk, bring some waiters to explore! A few of us even took a polar bear plunge in the water. I would love to come back in the summer for a swim. Definitely recommend, will return.
