Rainbow’s End
Stunning location and quite private for a much needed overnight under the stars. We got in a good hike on the nearby trails that are a short drive from the property, so definitely bring your boots along. Everyone we met was quite friendly, and had a great morning walk with the resident dog, Ivory. The site has a creek with two paired muscovy ducks who are great neighbors for your stay. We're so grateful to have had this experience and will certainly return for another unplug.

We Love Meadowland!
Meadowland has become one of our go-to places to camp. Close to home, quiet, peaceful, and away from the maddening crowds, and Angela and family are wonderful, accommodating hosts. We look forward to many return visits.

Camping in Angela’s land.
There are a few large open fields to spread out your camping equipment and stargaze. There’s a huge open field by the horse fence and chicken coop with unobstructed view of the open skies. The chorus of bullfrogs makes me feel I’m deep in the woods even though we’re close to civilization. The fire pit and picnic table by the stream, partially enclosed by trees give privacy and shade. I would definitely return with more friends!

Wonderful Place to Camp!
Beautiful location, wide open space (recommend bringing a sun/rain tarp for shelter-- our 10x13 overhead tarp made our stay comfortable through the very hot sun followed by thunderstorms).
Picnic table right next to the stream that feeds into the pond, where ducks played and concert of frogs.
Erin and his family were very gracious hosts inviting us to walk through the farm, which includes an amazing stone circle on the other end of the farm (captured an aerial photo from the website).
After one of the thunderstorms, there was actually a large rainbow over our site!
The port-a-potty had just been serviced, but is a bit of a hike away from the campsite. There was a pump for potable water outside one of the barns.
Very little Verizon cell phone coverage (need to enable roaming).
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would highly recommend Rainbows End!

Perfect for big groups
Plenty of freshly cut grass and easy-to-access toilet/water. The friendly host appeared on Forged in Fire season two, episode seven, and can be sweet-talked into a tour of the shop.

Rainbow’s End
The outskirts of paradise.
The camping area near the pond is a clearing full of billowing trees and drifting clouds. The wildlife is a grand site too. The Muscovy ducks take care of the mosquitos with the help of the bullfrogs, so that's a pleasure indeed. The fire pit brings you back to time of old when we used to cook our food under the stars. Along with the babbling brook behind the tent site to put you to sleep at night. As a working man I haven't slept this good in awhile. The hosts Angela and Erin are kind and helpful. The property they maintain is clean and well kept, with places to roam that take you into idealistic paradise with the feeling of being recharged when you return to your home. I'd recommend this place if your looking for a quiet retreat. Peace to you.

Great camping
This is a beautiful spot! Lovely shade and right by the pond. Lots of bullfrogs to serenade you. Ivory the dog will visit and she is a big love. Angela and Erin are accommodating, lovely hosts. This was our 4th trip to their property but our first stay at the pond. The meadow is also wonderful! Will definitely be back.

Beautiful site, peace and quiet
We loved tent camping at The Meadow Lands. The space is wide open and the view is beautiful. The owners were so accommodating. We were personally guided back to our site. They even gave us butter since we forgot to bring some. It was completely solitary, no sounds from other campers or civilization. We didn't want to leave

Perfect weekend escape from B'more
We spent Saturday night in the back of our Honda Element on Angela's land. Her hipcamp is a beautiful, private spot in a well-mowed clearing on a high field. Angela loaned us a lighter (doh!) and kindly gave us some lovely cedar shingles to help start our fire. Ivory the dog checked us out, but was not a nuisance. The port-a-potty must have just been cleaned because it was as clean as they come. After about 9pm a wonderful quiet set in, and the new moon made for great stargazing. Great camping doesn't have to be complicated. :)

Hawkwood Farm is a special place— such beautiful land and welcoming hosts! This is our second time staying at rainbow’s end. We plan on staying at Meadowside next time to experience the expansive sky and starry nights (it looks magical). The campsites are peaceful and private. We had a great time! The cherry on top was a tour of Erin’s workshops and learning more about his craft (woodworking, metalwork, maker of cool things). He is an incredible artisan and the kindest human being. We highly recommend staying here!

Incredible Stay!
Our trip here was phenomenal! Not only were we met with an incredible ambiance, but Angela and Erin were extremely kind, and we felt totally welcomed. We woke up to the sun rising over the pond, and fell asleep to the sounds of crickets and a fresh running stream. All amenities mentioned were included and Erin even gave us a tour of his shop to show us his beautiful artwork. I could not recommend this stay more.

Meadow Land
This is a truly beautiful and very well maintained location. Angela was the embodiment of graciousness. She got us situated with firewood and materials, showed us the essentials, and then gave us complete privacy while offering to be of any help she could (just a text message away). The meadow is breathtaking (what stars!) and the campsite itself is extremely well though out in its simple but very effective design.
