We are located right off of Highway 32 down a long, private paved driveway. What makes our property unique is all that it has to offer--it's an 18 acre oasis with mature woods protected by a conservation deed, lightly rolling hills, beautiful fields, wetlands, and a pond. Every year in the spring there are 4-6 Thoroughbred foals born that eventually will become racehorses. They live on the farm until they are 2 years old and then they go off to begin their racing career.

There are three campsites on the farm, one by the pond and two by the river. Very secluded and all sites include , firepit, log bench,

The original river campsite has been moved to a more remote spot so that all campers can access the pond and pier to the river.
Farm encompasses nearly 300 acres on the Patuxent River. There is access to the river on high tide via our private creek (must bring your own canoe or kayak) and 150 acres of marshland. Over 100 acres of woods to walk through and a pond for wildlife watching.

All pets, including equines, are welcome. 4-stall barn, 5 pastures with self-waterers and run-ins, and miles of well-maintained trails perfect for ATVs, trail biking, horseback riding, and forest bathing.
Spectacular sunsets behind the house offer panoramic views of Sugarloaf Mountain. The night skies are usually clear, making it ideal for stargazing.
A 3-person salt-water hot tub is available, contingent on availability. $50/hr. and requires a shower before entering. Spa robes, towels, and slippers are provided, depending on availability.
2 e-bikes and 1 mountain bike, all of which are contingent upon availability. A signed waiver is required. Minimum age is 16 years old or at the discretion of the host. They cost $25/hr. per person.
Experienced horse riders can book horse rides for $50/hr. per person. Inexperienced riders must be led using a lead rope. Signed waivers and provided helmets are required.
Our in-ground, unheated swimming pool is open mid-April to end October. $60/hr.
Please place any donations in the marked box in the barn. Our perennially hungry rescues appreciate it!
Payments for rentals, extra nights, and farm market purchases like eggs, flowers, organic produce, dried lavender, etc., can be made here, or via Venmo, Zelle, or QR codes in the tack room at the barn.

I had such a great experience at Strawberry Crossroads! Hosts were communicative even before my check in, which I appreciated because of the inclement weather forecast. My add ons (wood and fishing pole) were promptly delivered. The bathrooms were always clean. Location is great, just a twenty minute drive to the beach! Even in the rainy weather I had for my visit, I still had a great time checking out the trails, sitting by the fire, hanging in my hammock, and fishing! There’s plenty of space to find your perfect set up. Everyone was great and I can’t wait to visit Strawberry Crossroads again! Thanks for the memories (:

Very clean and peaceful area, fantastic amenities, clear views of the night sky and just overall a great experience. Great space, even with the torrential rains, we had a great time. Camped by the river and Liam was so nice and came down and checked on us to make sure we were okay. Just amazing to have the basement area to have coffee, take a shower, and even do laundry. The dogs loved the creek and went swimming in the rain. Fortunately my tent stayed dry and we had lots of extra blankets. We’ll definitely be back when the weather is better. What a treasure!

Scott was a very helpful host. The field had been freshly mowed, and the designated fire pit area was nicely built. The site was quiet, private, and clean, making it a relaxing place for our tent.
There was a pump for the well water that was listed on the property. The water had an earthy appearance, so I chose not to drink since it was not very clear, but it was useful for washing and other basic campsite needs.
The pond was peaceful and looked much like the photos provided. I was told there are some small fish in it, although the water appeared fairly still. The property is exactly as pictured. You may need to walk around a bit to gather logs for seating, but there was plenty of firewood available.
For a primitive tent site, I would have preferred a slightly lower price, but overall it was a quiet and enjoyable camping experience.
