We’re a family-owned campground open to anyone seeking a seasonal or temporary camping spot. Whether you’re looking for your next camping destination or a place to work remotely, we have a place for you. Our goal is to provide families with a peaceful and safe travel destination. We’re open year-round, even in winter! Our spacious sites and welcoming crew make it a great place to stay. RV parking is available at the barn, and there’s plenty of space for small to large groups to pitch tents on the lawn. All pets, including equines, are welcome. 4-stall barn, 5 pastures with self-waterers and run-ins, and miles of well-maintained trails perfect for ATVs, trail biking, horseback riding, and forest bathing. Spectacular sunsets behind the house offer panoramic views of Sugarloaf Mountain. The night skies are usually clear, making it ideal for stargazing. A 3-person salt-water hot tub is available, contingent on availability. $50/hr. and requires a shower before entering. Spa robes, towels, and slippers are provided, depending on availability. 2 e-bikes and 1 mountain bike, all of which are contingent upon availability. A signed waiver is required. Minimum age is 16 years old or at the discretion of the host. They cost $25/hr. per person. Experienced horse riders can book horse rides for $50/hr. per person. Inexperienced riders must be led using a lead rope. Signed waivers and provided helmets are required. Our in-ground, unheated swimming pool is open mid-April to end October. $60/hr. Please place any donations in the marked box in the barn. Our perennially hungry rescues appreciate it! Had an awesome time at Camp Comus! The host, Juanita, was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We made a nice campfire, relaxed under the stars, and really enjoyed how peaceful and secluded the campsite felt. The property is beautiful and has a calm atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Definitely a great spot if you’re looking for a quiet getaway close to nature. Would absolutely come back again!

My daughter and I had a great time here. Beautiful view of the mountains. She got to feed the animals. The host provided us with plenty of firewood, and brought over a tarp when it started to rain. It was peaceful and quiet. Plenty of forest to explore. Will return and bring friends.

Camp Comus was a wonderful stay near Sugarloaf Mountain and a cozy place to stay after a day of hiking. The grounds were beautiful, the animals were friendly and they provided ample firewood. The farmhands on the property were nice and really helpful. Additionally, the barn house which housed the bathroom and shower was accessible throughout the night and easy to find (even in the dark). 10/10 property. Easily one of my favorite Hip Camps.

I stayed at Conus SKY Farm (now known as Camp Comus) multiple times in my RV. I love the farm animals, the Camp Hosts, the solitude, and the feel of the forest. 20, 30, and 50 amp electric, bathroom, and central water source is available. I will definitely be back next year.

Unique family reunion campfire

My husband, myself, our kids and grandkids all met up at this amazing farm just overnight for a wonderful and rare campfire get together, but wished we had stayed longer. The grandkids loved all the animals but especially Zeus, the big, super sweet dog of the property! The expansive property accommodates RVs well with plenty of space to be private yet camp amongst the animals. Our camp host greeted us, got us set up with power, and told us all about the workings of the farm and all that was available to us on the property. These extras that you don’t normally get at most Hipcamp properties was really cool! A barn with a restroom and gathering area where chili was available the night we were there along with many homemade and local goodies like shortbread cookies, honey, dried lavender sachets and produce for purchase. We happily donated a small amount toward taking care of the rescued animals on the farm. A couple of our kids and their families live in the area so we will definitely be back! Thanks Juanita it was a pleasure!!

Camp Comus - Great Lawn
Juanita's horse farm has plenty of room for RV and tent campers. I enjoyed the quiet country feel, the animals (her sweet dogs, the ducks and geese and the neighbors horse), and the solitude of walking her trails surrounded by autumn trees. The camp hosts are absolutely fantastic. Friendly, accommodating, and generous. They made me feel like family. The Comus Inn restaurant is a hidden jewel. There are lots of nearby areas to explore, breweries and wineries to sample, and the trails of Sugarloaf mountain are worth your time. I plan to return next year at this time.

Beautiful, peaceful location with an incredibly friendly and responsive host! Getting to say hi to the very friendly dogs and kitten was a definite plus. Plenty of room to set up camp while still being a stone's throw away from the barn with a restroom & running water. All in all a tremendous experience!

Loved the farm so much it was hard to leave. I had to keep extending my stay to check out more of the area. It was very peaceful and everyone was incredibly nice. Hate to let people know because im sure it will be full up when I try to come back, but it is a great place to go.

Camp Comus - Great Lawn
I had electricity and was able to easily fill my talk. The hosts (Josh and Katie) are VERY welcoming. Juanita is delightful and very accommodating. The geese and ducks are great reminders you are on a farm and the horse next door is very friendly. I saw a deer most evenings. It was quiet and comfortable. Will return soon and next year at this same time.

When I arrived after dark, I was greeted by the campground host, Katie. She kindly guided me to a good place for my camper van. The farm is beautiful and the camping areas are clean and pleasant. I spent a little extra to have the use of the "sniff-spot" off leash area for my dogs; this is an important feature for me. I would happily stay again.

We had a large tenting group that consisted of newbies and pro’s. Booking was easy and the Hosts and Owner were great throughout the process. We were offered a spot that allowed the group to spread out and we spent hours around the fire pit and we were able to have a wonderful movie night. The owner was open to suggestions and I hope she’s able to implement some things that would take this site to the next level. For Large Groups: The area does not have lights. So, you’ll need to bring your own in order to see at night. You have access to the pavilion, water and electric but, you’ll have to walk up the hill to access it. We drove or walked using our pull wagon. Had we not brought our own power, tables and water, this would have become a bothersome chore. We parked our cars around the perimeter of the grass because acorns were falling (lots of them, so, watch your head). Keep in mind this site is shared by others, and we had to watch the noise for other guests departing earlier. Heads up!!! The camp is a designated dog sniff spot. The owners huge dog (friendly) as well as visiting dogs were able to walk up through our camp. We ended up having to keep our dogs locked up majority of the trip. Suggestions: hanging lights, picnic tables, a water hose leading to the larger site

It was a tranquil setting, with lots of old growth trees and trails. The pavilion, with hammocks and a swing, was so much fun for the kids and made a wet day go by quickly. The chickens and ducks were right near the pavilion, as was a beautiful veggie garden. The camp hosts were so attentive and educational to our child in the garden. We sprung for the English breakfast, and our kid kept talking about it! We wish we could have stayed longer, but we'll go again for a close by camping trip!

This was our second trip here and we’re already planning another. There are options for hookups or to boondock and the camp hosts are fantastic, we got the most incredible tomatoes from their garden and we had a wonderful afternoon at a winery nearby. I almost don’t want to share this gem.

Everybody was very welcoming! Juanita’s land is VERY well maintained, plenty of room for our group to spread out but still maintain privacy. Also, the gingerbread loaf was insanely good. Only 10 minutes drive to the aqueduct to do some fishing which was a huge plus as well. Very glad I stayed and will absolutely be back.

We had our first trip in our RV here and we could not have asked for a better experience. The hosts were kind and friendly and the garden produce was incredible. We had LTE service with AT&T there and were able to stream and work using hotspots. It was so quiet and the ponies were gorgeous!

I was looking for a budget friendly place to park my van for a couple days to do some kayak instructor training and took a chance on this farm. I was greeted by an awesome host, the owner communicated so wonderfully. I felt safe the entire time and loved having access to a real toilet since I camp in a cargo van. The land is gorgeous, I even made friends with a horse. This is a great place and I highly recommend, especially for female solo travelers.
