30 acres of mostly reclaimed farmland. We are located where Glade Creek flows into the Monocacy River. There is evidence of civil war activity here and the old river ford is on our property. Creek and river access make this a beautiful, peaceful place that is full of life. The energy here is overwhelmingly positive.
Our house was built in the 1850s and the neighboring farm was built shortly after—lots of history on this property. You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing.
Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. We've already started by planting hundreds of native tree species along the creek and river banks. Each camper gets us closer to that goal! Thanks for your support!

45-acre Historic farm, several sites to choose from depending on adventure wanderlust (including a 4WD drive site). Located on private gravel lane, approximately 1/2 mile off county road. Either corn or soybeans with a woods backdrop. Secluded and private, yet 25 minutes to downtown Annapolis, 10 minutes to the Bay, great for cycling, paddleboarding, kayaking all 10/15 minutes from farm. DC 45 minutes, Baltimore 1 hour. Jug Bay wetlands, wineries, fun little waterfront towns and Bay front restaurants all within easy reach.

For large campers/coach/fifth wheelers the area by the tractor shed will be the best. Around the corner there's two other choices both with firepits which will accommodate units up to 40 feet depending on your backing/maneuvering skills.
Field of Dreams and Sycamore Ridge will accommodate campers under 25 feet with some backing/maneuvering skills.
For those with 4WD and an off-road camper/trailer/tent choose Off the Grid, two entrances for easy access, travel along a logging road to an open site with fire pit. Suitable during dry conditions and not responsible for damage to vehicle or camper. Great spot for those who truly want to be in the woods off the beaten path, site takes about 5 minutes to reach due to low-speed access.

on our beautiful secluded farm. You will hear nothing but the wind, birds, frogs and insects while you doze off or enjoy the dark sky and camp fire.
We live on the farm so we are always here to help you out if needed. We can provide you with water from our deep well. We are here to make your stay as comfortable as possible and provide a restroom in the case of an "emergency".

There are three campsites on the farm, one by the pond and two by the river. Very secluded and all sites include , firepit, log bench,
and a picnic table that seats 3-4 people. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. AT THIS TIME WE ARE OUT FOR THE SEASON.
The original river campsite has been moved to a more remote spot so that all campers can access the pond and pier to the river.
Farm encompasses nearly 300 acres on the Patuxent River. There is access to the river on high tide via our private creek (must bring your own canoe or kayak) and 150 acres of marshland. Over 100 acres of woods to walk through and a pond for wildlife watching.

Caroline County Maryland is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, hiking in nearby Martinak and Tuckahoe State Parks,Adkins Arboretum, access to public boat ramps, touring the Harriett Tubman Byway,produce stands, wineries, orchards,and close proximity to the Maryland and Delaware beaches as well as Blackwater National Wildlife Refuge in neighboring Dorchester County. We're also less than two hours from Washington D.C., and Baltimore, and less than an hour from our state capitol, Annapolis.

About Tyme Farm is a 26 plus acre privately owned farm used for crops such as corn, soy beans and sunflowers. The property includes a 150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet. The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning. Electric, water, fire pit and a Port a Pot is available even for rough campers. Pets welcome but must be on a leash or exercise pen or with their owners in some way while here for their safety. There is a large fenced yard for dogs that just have to run if needed. Glamorous camping with a furnished heated/cooled cabin is available for rent by the night for those who do not have camping equipment or do not want to rough it. For those that have been camping before and have all the equipment there is plenty of room for a tent or camper near the buildings or by the stream or woods. For RV owners there is 50amp electric service in the barn. You will need an RV extension cord to access it. I have a 100 ft RV ext. cord but it can be farther than that depending on where you park. Bring one of your own to be sure. It is a farm and not set up like an RV park with numerous outlets.

Wild Yough is located in Southern Garrett County, Maryland very close to Herrington Manor State Park, Swallows Falls State Park, and the quaint mountain village of Oakland. The property adjoins thousands of acres of Garrett State Forest and hundreds of acres of state land along the Youghiogheny River. The world class Wisp resort and Deep Creek Lake are only minutes away. “Yough” is short for Youghiogheny River a state designated wild and scenic river which runs through the heart of the property. Wild Yough Glamping huts are part of more than 350 acres of private land, most of which is crisscrossed with hiking and biking trails. Youghiogheny is an Algonquin word meaning “a stream flowing in a contrary direction”, or in the case of the Yough, North toward Ohio Pyle and Pittsburgh. This section of the river is designated as a protected scenic corridor and you will feel the quiet isolation when sitting on the Crooked Butt Bench overlooking the big horseshoe bend in the river at the far back corner of our property. And if the river is low during your visit, feel free to wade across to the other side – Wild Yough owns the entire peninsula of land on the other side of the river and this is also bordered by State land.The river banks are steep on the property, but the fishing for small mouth bass is exceptional. There is a small turn around on the path just beyond Crooked Butt Bench where you can take out your canoe, kayak, or inner tubes after floating the 2+ miles from the Oakland bridge. Just be prepared to walk your water craft back up to the house or Glamping site as there is no motorized access to the river.If you like to lay on the rocks in the sun or take the kids for some wading in the river, the best place is the farthest to walk to. Take the trail to “High Bluff”, then cross the Snyder property line (Permission for trail access only – do not leave trail!), then descend down and cross the bridge across Herrington Manor Creek (a stocked trout stream!). Wild Yough property is to your right along the river and there is a great place for lying in the sun, doing some fishing, or just wading into the cool waters of the Yough on a hot summer day.Learn more about this land:The idea is simple- our glamping site will offer a true camping experience without all the hassles and fuss. Catoctin Quaker Camp was established in 1958 and its 385 acres are mostly forests. There is a pond, bathhouse, and plenty of land to explore (385 acres).
The camp is located on Frederick County's South Mountain formation and is adjacent to the Frederick City watershed which is filled with beautiful trails.
We have 8 different cabins available to rent and the option to book out the entire property. Toilets, showers, picnic tables, and potable water are all available on site. Please note: Our cabins do not have mattresses!

Evensong Farm is a preserved historic farm adjacent to the Antietam National Battlefield. We have set up two, almost identical, sites on a 60 acre parcel of our farm which is very private for our campers, but allows access to the lovely Antietam Creek. The sites themselves are about 500 feet apart so, while they maintain privacy when booked by different parties, can also be booked together for group stays.
We have been hosting campers at our "glampsites" since 2021. Each off-grid site has a 12x16 platform with a 10x12 canvas side wall tent, a firepit and chairs, a cooking area with a grill and sink for washing up, a picnic table and benches, and a private bathroom with a composting toilet and solar shower bag. The main tent is set up for 2 people, although 4 is possible. The sites can handle a max of 12 people, with the use of additional tents (BYO or you can set up some of ours). We provide an electronic camp guide to all of our campers that include our recommendations for things to do in the area, as well as camping tips and other handy info.
Inside the tent you will find a queen size bed, side tables, and a cafe table and chair set. We have put down foam flooring and a carpet for your comfort and provide numerous battery powered lights, lanterns and fans. In cold months we can add a propane heater to keep the chill away. We also have some games, maps of the area, decks of cards, and a fire extinguisher.
Stepping outside the tent you'll find our long rainfly creates a covered porch where you can relax on our provided chairs. There are additional chairs around the firepit and each firepit has a cooking grate so you can cook over your campfire. We provide one bundle of firewood (including kindling) per night with your reservation. We do sell additional firewood, if needed.
In our kitchen area you will find a picnic table and chairs, 5 gallons of drinking water, a clean up table that includes a foot operated pump sink with an additional 5 gallons of washing water, a grill (one site has propane and the other has charcoal), trash and recycling bins, grill tools, lighters, plus dish and hand soaps.
Our farm is a mile and a half from the town of Sharpsburg, MD, home of the Antietam National Battlefield (and Nutter's Ice Cream Shop). You will find the Appalachian Trail to our east and the C&O Canal to our west (10 minute drive to either).

As with any rural property, you'll hear the sounds of country life—horses, birds, owls, and the occasional fox. During daytime hours, neighboring county law enforcement may conduct firearms training, which can sometimes be heard from the property, and the local dogs can be heard.

This is our second time at hang town, and I cannot stress how perfect it is. I’ve been to enough Hipcamps now to be able to say this is by far the best one. It feels like you’re in the middle of no where, when actually it’s pretty convenient to anything. We had a couple storms so we ventured out one day. Literally a mile away is an awesome micro brewery and a bowling alley. But if you’re lucky enough to have sunshine your whole trip, you won’t need to go anywhere. They have trails, adorable animals, streams, even a CLEAN porta potty! Ben is a great host, thank you for another amazing stay!!!

This was my first time booking Grove Point, and using Hipcamp. What an amazing inaugural trip! Eagle's Nest was the perfect location on the water, and I appreciate how secluded it was. The directions to the actual site were very clear and easy to follow. The sunset was incredible and I enjoyed swimming although the beach is mostly rocky. The birdwatching was great too, I will definitely return to this spot.

It was nice to have the cabin and running water / toilets near by… we enjoyed hiking all the trails, met a nice couple … when we comeback we won’t stay in the Stanley cabin because cars drove right by our window a few times each night and people were partying at the main building at 2am one night so our sleep was not good

Not only are the hosts wonderful, but the property is beautiful and serene. The campsite is well kept and spacious. There is a beautiful pond and a nice creek. If you’re looking for something quiet and private, it’s perfect. There are trails nearby also and a secret waterfall that if your nice, you can get directions to from the host. It’s truly a wonderful space to camp.
