Absolutely loved my stay here! There’s tons of space and a wide variety of spots to choose from—whether you want to be near other campers or tucked away in a more private, backwoods-type setting, the options are there. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. Just when I thought supplies were running low, they were already being refilled—super on top of it. The location is perfect—only about 30 minutes from Ocean City and Assateague National Seashore. Even during a holiday weekend, the campground never felt crowded. There was plenty of breathing room and I never felt like other campers were right on top of me. The owners were incredibly accommodating. I had to change my dates last minute, and they handled it with no problem. Firewood was delivered straight to my fire pit shortly after I arrived, which was such a nice touch. Would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend to book a stay here. We only spent one night but it was perfect. The location has amazing views, animals you can feed, a field of wildflowers and fireflies in the summer, and iconic sunrises. We also stayed during a heat wave and while it was extremely hot outside during the day, it cooled down nicely at night and we slept inside the a-frame with the door closed and fan running and were completely comfortable.

TJ has a beautiful spot with overflowing potential. Sites are well located along tree lines and are large. No crowding. It’s rustic but very comfortable. Some very personable camping goats visited regularly. We were there for a grandson baseball tournament in the area. It was perfect without Assateague crowds.

The property includes a 150+ year old stone farm house, large historic barn on the barn quilt tour in Carroll County, renovated camping cabin for those not into rough camping, fields, streams , woods for hiking, plenty of wild life and lots of quiet. The farm is surrounded by other farms in the agricultural preservation program yet you are only 5 miles from stores, movies, antiques and other aspects of civilization or entertainment if needed. Enjoy watching the deer come out of the woods and meander along the stream and fields at dusk and return in the morning. Electric, water, fire pit and a Port a Pot is available even for rough campers. Pets welcome but must be on a leash or exercise pen or with their owners in some way while here for their safety. There is a large fenced yard for dogs that just have to run if needed. Glamorous camping with a furnished heated/cooled cabin is available for rent by the night for those who do not have camping equipment or do not want to rough it. For those that have been camping before and have all the equipment there is plenty of room for a tent or camper near the buildings or by the stream or woods. For RV owners there is 50amp electric service in the barn. You will need an RV extension cord to access it. I have a 100 ft RV ext. cord but it can be farther than that depending on where you park. Bring one of your own to be sure. It is a farm and not set up like an RV park with numerous outlets.

You will be able to camp right next to Glade Creek which is always cool, clean, and refreshing. Our goal with opening the land up for camping is to eventually phase out commercial farming on the property and transform it into woodlands using native plants and trees. The campground was first started in 1964 by my grandparents, we are currently completing renovations in phases.

This includes food waste, dog waste, and any garbage produced. Please respect that :) DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BURN ANY WASTE IN THE FIRE RING BEFORE CHECKING OUT. -There is NO FISHING, kayaking or boating. Go for a swim and float, no prob! But please float in the vicinity of your camp, so as not to disturb other campers. - Please do not invite visitors to your campsite. This is an insurance issue, no exceptions. If you want friends and family to experience our beautiful spot, please have them sign up and book a site, wouldn't that be more fun anyway!? PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN FIREWOOD. AT THIS TIME WE ARE OUT FOR THE SEASON. The original river campsite has been moved to a more remote spot so that all campers can access the pond and pier to the river. Farm encompasses nearly 300 acres on the Patuxent River. There is access to the river on high tide via our private creek (must bring your own canoe or kayak) and 150 acres of marshland. Over 100 acres of woods to walk through and a pond for wildlife watching.
