Kingsley Orchards offers a peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites surrounded by wildflower fields and blueberries. Guests appreciate the clean facilities, including an indoor bathroom and a well-lit outdoor shower. While some visitors were put off by nearby political flags, most reviews highlight the beauty and tranquility of the location, making it a favorite for star-gazing and relaxation. The proximity to beaches and the option to pick fresh blueberries add to the appeal, despite minor issues like limited shade at campsites.

We loved everything about our experience at Kingsley Orchards and could not wait to return until we discovered the Collins family who own the blueberry farm also owns the buffalo farm down the road that touts MAGA flags along the entirety of their fence. When I messaged the owners, explaining how off-putting the flags were and suggested they remove them, I was told that, “For you to even suggest we should do something about the flags that fly on our own personal property is showing how racism is kept alive in the country.” Their response befuddled me, affirming why we won’t be returning and why I am writing this review. I have to be honest and also share all of the reasons we are heart-broken that we won’t be returning (though we offered to come back and have a conversation if the flags were taken down). The campsite was pristine with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a grill. Firewood and fresh egg delivery (though late) were a great add-on. The cookies at the market were to die for, and having a chance to pick blueberries at sunset was magical (we were given permission to pay and pick later since we were camping). The air conditioned bathroom and the outdoor shower were especially appreciated after a long day at the beach. The drive there was beautiful. The surrounding fields and homes are like something out of a fairytale…until you see the shredded MAGA flags with varying hateful messages that certainly do not say, “Welcome.”
