Beautiful open field surrounded by woods with plenty of sites to choose from. Perfect place for hammock camping! Also has a clean bathhouse with free shower! Great location, secluded and peaceful, but just minutes from the highway. Hope to camp out there again soon.

Weekend Trip to Log Cabin Tranquil Inn

We had such a terrific time at Jill's place camping with the family this weekend. Jill was one of the best hosts we have ever had. The site had a beautiful view of the pond and trails and plenty quiet spots to sit and relax. Jill let the kids pick flowers and we loved having the opportunity to go inside her workshop where she makes the best cremes and hand made ceramic pots. We ended up buying a box full as gifts for friends and family. This site is highly recommended and we are definitely looking forward to staying here again.

Our stay was awesome. We needed an extra day and they had no problem extending our stay. Loved walking along the lake. There’s also a nice pond, indoor pool and mini golf. We will be back!!!

Just - amazing!!! We were spoiled! Electricity at our site (moved to 1 from 3 as there had been a lot of rain; can definitely attest that this was brilliant aforethought, Marian and Mike! Thank you!!!), a garbage can, and waterproof container of kindling. Firewood aplenty and a bathroom - a real, warm bathroom with a toilet and sink :) As well as a hot shower and sink for doing dishes! The fire pit was a set up for wood (which we prefer) or charcoal (also provided!!!). We cooked all of our meals at our site and couldn't have asked for a better set-up! It was SO quiet, it was like a dream!! Flat, level ground and many trees made it easy to pitch our tent, put a tarp over the picnic table, and set up the runner for our fur-footed family member! The boys absolutely loved feeding the animals and spending time with them each day. Plenty of space to roam and the holly forest was truly beautiful! This is definitely not just somewhere to camp, it is magical! Thank you, Marian and Mike, for sharing your piece of land and peace of mind, body, and spirit! We cannot wait to come back and visit with you again!!

This is a quiet spot to stay at, and it is/felt very safe. The tent site is in a secluded area behind the barn, which was great. This was my first time in Delaware, and I stayed here as I was participating in a marathon the next day in Rehoboth Beach. I would definitely stay here again! We have a new Zinger 29' trailer set up with a bunk room and another bedroom, full kitchen and bathroom. It can easily sleep six people. It’s most popular for its iconic beaches and wooden boardwalk—home to shops, dining, and the Jolly Roger Amusement Park.
