RV camping near Pittsburgh guide

Overview

RV campers have plenty of options when exploring Pittsburgh. Park your rig close to the city to explore its many highlights, from museums and industrial history to the vibrant Strip District and three rivers. Or pick a RV site at a state park to be close to nature. Look for colorful wildflowers at Raccoon Creek State Park or mountain bike the woodlands at Laurel Hill State Park. Pay a visit to Frank Lloyd Wright’s iconic Fallingwater, then chase waterfalls or raft the rapids at nearby Ohiopyle State Park. Moraine State Park and Keystone State Park offer lakes to cool off over the summer, and trails to sled, cross-country ski, and snowmobile in the winter. Some Pennsylvania state parks offer RV sites with partial hookups, but you can find plenty of Pittsburgh RV parks that offer full hookup sites, space for larger rigs, and deluxe amenities like pools, playgrounds, and wifi.
