Pine Canopy Site on 75 Acres
Must have AWD+ esp. if it rains!
Absolutely loved staying on Chris’s property with it’s views and creek! The sites are well kept and there are ATV trails to explore leading to some walk in sites. Chris gave amazing instructions, believe him when he says your GPS will lead you astray and follow him word for word. Service at the main field was actually great (Xfinity and Verizon) The road from Parker is very steep and winding, so take the road from Bruin if it’s raining or you don’t feel safe driving it. Worth the extra 10 mins!

Such a awesome place
First I want to say just how awesome the host was. Keep checking in to make sure everything was good! Road in is a little tricky due to construction but he gave me a better route out! Even with all the mud the entire area was beautiful! Hiked all around and explored a the other sites. Went down close as I could to tue waterfall but rocks and mud made it impossible to cross over. The ole homestead I was able to get a close up zoom into it but if your there in the summer probably be awesome to see. The new outhouse was a plus too👍🏼 I will definitely be back out in the spring!

Site 1 - 75 Acres with Hiking and Waterfall.
My family and I spent the last weekend on Chris's land. We had an amazing time, and it was beyond beautiful in the fall. We've used hipcamp quite a bit in the last 2 years, and his property was one of the nicest so far, huge site with great view, we made it to waterfall which was great. Cant beat it for the price. My son loved the playground and trampoline. We will be back next season for sure!

Fantastic
This spot is amazingly remote and quiet! It's super open and amazing for stargazing. (It was truly pitch black after sundown with a full view of the milky way.) I don't have kids but I personally enjoyed the swing set and slide very much. You don't have to go far to have fun in the woods. We spent a full day exploring the creek, gorgeous waterfall and abandoned homestead. It was the perfect weekend getaway.

Peaceful and Relaxing Camp Site
This is a fantastic camp site for so many reasons. It has a great scenic view that sits high above the Allegheny River. I was able to drive my car right up to the site, which made unloading fast and easy. There are many tall trees but the stars were still visible and bright!
I found it to be a quiet and peaceful setting to relax and get back to nature.
Our host was very attentive, thoughtful and respectful of our privacy. We can’t wait to return in the spring.

We loved camping at this site! It was quite and had some great trails to hike with our dog! There is a small store a few minutes down the road which has an amazing view of the river as you drive through the woods to get there. I would highly recommend

River Ridge campsite on 75 acres.
You won't beat the view! While the water access is down the hill a little ways the effort is soon forgotten once you each the TOP! Loved the unique natural waterfall. Peaceful, tranquil, private. Checked all my boces.

River Ridge campsite on 75 acres.
The view is amazing! I went mid-fall and the forest was golden. I was able to see the sunrise from the campsite. Love the waterfall. My dog and I went deep into the trails, be aware of ticks if you go far. The drive there is a little bit up and down, and my dog got a bit carsick. But other than that, it was an amazing stay. A great getaway from the city.

Lovely hills and waterfalls
Beautiful location with amazing views. Unpaved road to the site but it was in good shape and clearly marked. Hosts provided good directions, and the road matched up to these directions to a T with Apple Maps. Hosts advised to use caution and do not blindly follow GPS.
We rented the main site which is at the top of the hill from the gate. You can see for miles up there. Pristine woods surrounding farm country. There is a creek with waterfalls down a short hike from the gate. The hosts provided all the basics and were very polite. So quiet, almost nothing but nature sounds and a few cow moos far away. We cannot wait to come back and explore more

Nice, quiet spot in the woods. We had such a peaceful weekend. A little difficult to navigate in from the road at night, but no issues other than that. I drive a Subaru Outback and had to be pretty careful, so do not ignore Chris's comments on needing an AWD/4WD vehicle that is not low to the ground. Chris was very friendly and communicative. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect getaway from Pittsburgh
My nephew and I had such a great time! Had some trouble getting up to my site (I drive a Prius-don’t recommend for this site), so we were able to camp at one of the lower tent sites. The views were stunning and the little trails throughout the property had us exploring for a while. Host was super helpful and got back quickly with any questions I had. Super quiet and nice to have some privacy. We saw an eagle as soon as we arrived. It’s way off the beaten path and perfect for a quick getaway from Pittsburgh. Would definitely come again and bring a truck so I could camp at the top site! Oh and my dog LOVED it as much as I did!

Quiet, Remote Feeling. Pretty.
I enjoyed this camp despite wet conditions. The road to it is unpaved and sometimes steep with typical washboarding in some spots. But with the beautiful scenery (creek bridge, hilltop vistas) it was thoroughly enjoyable in my Cherokee. Watch carefully for deer!! This spot is the first in the gate and if it rains it is gets marshy. It also is not really flat. Best I could do was about 4 degrees in both directions and I was comfortable. But I think the spot up the hill with the view is the best. For a few bucks more, choose that one if you are not on a budget. And please, clean up after yourself!!

Remote Camping with Ease
We loved our stay here. The whole weekend very few vehicles passed. The firewood was very convenient and it was also nice to have a port-a-potty. There is a nice winery about 20 mins away and found ourselves just chilling there and spending a quiet afternoon at camp.

My favorite place to camp!
This is by far my favorite campsite! You really get the feeling of peace and solitude. The area is always well kept and the view is absolutely amazing. There is firewood for sale on the property and the port a john is a short walk down the path. I will be back to this place several times before the end of the year. Give this place a try. You wont regret it.

Parker Paradise
The 6-person tent site was an absolutely beautiful and private spot tucked away in tall pine trees. The tent provided was perfect for part of our group and the rest of us were able to find a spot for our tents even though the property is on a bit of an incline. I would recommend arriving in the daylight to make things easier, although helpful directions were given to us by Chris, cautioning to avoid just using GPS. We loved that we could buy firewood right on the property. We hiked back to the waterfalls on the property and also took a hike just down the road on the North Country Trail where there are also streams to play in. We can't wait to come back. We ended our trip with a stop at Emlenton Brew Haus and a hike at Freedom Falls/Rockland Tunnel. Chris was very responsive and answered any questions we had. Next time we might bring our kayaks and spend some time on the Allegheny River. We did hike around to the other spots on the property and they each are nice in their own way. There is even one with a great view which would be lovely to look at the stars.

This spot is unbelievable! It feels like you are out west. My wife saw a bald eagle right in front of her but I missed it. This spot is great if you have a 4x4 and the conditions are reasonably dry. . If not you may have to walk a bit and carry your gear up to it. Either way- totally worth it!
This hip Camp rental would probably be a lot more expensive if it was out west, but as it is you would not know the difference! The only major difference being in that we get to see a bit more Greenery and color with respect to leaves instead of just looking at Rock/ clay. .
Chris is a great dude. Of you come here please show some respect for nature and his property.
I have only one fear about this location that is it will get too popular haha!!

This is a great spot with a wonderful view. We never got tired of looking out over the valley. This is a great escape into nature. The hosts were very nice as well. I’d recommend this place for sure!

We had an awesome time at this campsite! We didn’t see another person the entire time, the view was beautiful, and our dog had a field day. Exactly what we were looking for!
