We sit on the Mason Dixon line with a 1764 historical marker on our property that divides the towns of Federalsburg, MD and Bridgeville, DE. Even though we are 5 miles from either small town. Our farm consists of 41 acres total with our Homestead on 31 ac. The other 10 ac. Unplugged Forest, sits just off a dirt road that our non-tidal creek divides from our homestead. The best part of our secluded location is being close to popular towns like Easton, St. Michaels, Cambridge or Ocean City in Maryland. Giving you a place to unplug from the everyday chaos and enjoy all nature has to offer. We even made a space that includes everything one needs to have a Forest Tea Party. Inside Uncontained, read a book or play a board game in this cozy shipping container we repurposed for you. Or just take shelter from a summer pop up thunderstorm. Nature provided a hammock area amongst the tall pine trees and we provide 7 hammocks to nap in. We also provide, chairs for the fire pit, picnic table, charcoal grill, a cooktop. You can't truly enjoy our space without walking the short Charles Mason Trail. Adventure through the forest and over the small creek to our homestead to place one foot in both States at the historical Mason Dixon marker under the old wild Cherry tree.

Weekend Trip to Adventures Await Retreat & Meadery

This camp is a very quiet rural location (45 minutes to Lewes and Cape May Ferry) and has a great list of amenities. The camp hosts are welcoming and very helpful. Shout-out to Dave for assisting us on arrival. The animals are cool and mostly friendly. The pool looked nice as did the meadery- didn't have time to try these. The nature walk was really nice and easy to follow. Now to the sites themselves - if you're looking at a full hook-up site, you will need to bring plenty of waste line and water line as the utility layout is challenging. Our recommendation is to call ahead and ask about site layout. Upon departure we ended up dumping our full grey and black tanks at Killen Pond State Park about 9 miles away. For those with 30-Amp rigs, do have a 50-amp converter in your electric box for flexibility in site selection. Overall, a nice long weekend stay with friendly hosts.

Weekend Trip to Strawberry Crossroads

We visited the Strawberry Crossroads in early Nov to enjoy the fall foliage. We rented one of the small wooden cabins, which had 6 individual bunks with mats, a small fridge, a small table, a trash can, ceiling light and fan, and a cooler/heater. The land was beautiful with a lovely creek and a cute wooden bridge that crosses over it. We enjoyed the goats and chickens, and just the overall beautiful nature. The hosts were very responsive, kind, and relaxed. We had a great time and will recommend to friends/family.

We absolutely love camping here. We just stayed for our third time. What a lovely horse farm and it's so nice to be able to walk our dog off leash. The farm dogs are very friendly and love to come over and be petted and hang out for a spell. Best part of this site for us is the fact that it's less than 8 mi from our house so it's a convenient getaway.

Carol and Dan were amazing hosts. I was lucky to be able to move to Willow Oak 3, which was absolutely awesome. Quiet, remote, and utterly perfect. The site was clean with a nice tent pad for comfortable set up. It’s a simple but perfect plot of land to spend a few days. My dog was also super comfortable and able to be off leash throughout most of the stay.

The property at Strawberry Crossroads is beautiful! I’m just sorry I didn’t get to spend more leisure time there, as I had to work in town every day. It is only 17 miles from the beach resort town of Ocean City, yet you feel far removed from the crowds etc…Our host TJ was super hospitable, yet left you to your privacy. He would even deliver firewood, if needed! I will definitely stay again & also recommend to others!
