Harold's View Farm now camping. There are 4 entrances to the 80 acres of hay fields, now camping sites. Three entrances are for two sites each, the house entrance is for any questions. Please stop in if you have questions.
The fields have been maintained to some degree until 2019 when Lee came up with the idea of primitive camping. The land turns out to be ideal because each site makes you feel like the only campers there.
New this year you will find a picnic table for 6 and a 3 Ft. dia. fire pit with adjustable grill that flips out for open fire @ each site.

Camping is provided by and in support of the Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center, a 501 3C non-profit company. Located in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest, the Outdoor Center provides access to the Blueberry Hill network of trails, the Vermont Long Trail, The Catamount Trail, and the Moosalamoo National Forest Trails.
All campsites are located at the edge of the field behind the Outdoor Center. We have hot/cold outdoor showers as well as restrooms in the Outdoor Center. For more information, visit our website at blueberryhilltrails dot com.
While there is an internet connection near the buildings, it may not be available at your site. Cell service is limited at best. You can drive your car right up to your site. Sites are a good distance apart. Site 1 and the Bed in the Shed are the most private. Site two is quite open and supports trailers.
For your campfire, you can forage for wood or request "bundles" (about a dozen hunks of wood) by the morning of your arrival, and we'll have it delivered to your site. Please note, wood from outside Vermont is not permitted.
Step outside your tent and you'll find a wealth of hiking, biking, and running trails. As stewards of these trails, your camping fees help support the efforts of this non-profit comany. Nearby, you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. Trail maps are provided upon arrival, and you can also view them online on our webpage at Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center.
The Outdoor Center offers snacks and cold drinks for purchase, including our inn-made chocolate chip cookies, chips, and cold drinks. Also available on site, at the Inn across the road on mornings we are serving, may be a full breakfast, pastries, packed lunch, and coffee. (Please enquire in advance or night before if any inn items are available. ) Don't miss our Pizza Nights at the inn. More info on the Outdoor Center or Blueberry Hill Inn webpage. This off-the-grid tiny house is nestled on a 23 acre parcel at the end of a quarter-mile dirt road. The property itself is secluded but is less than 2 miles from the heart of Saranac Lake's downtown. This property is bordered by the Saranac River, the backside of Baker Mountain and State Forest. The only other building on the property is our timberframe which we may or may not be at during the time of your visit. The property does have private trails up to the cliffs on the backside of Baker mtn however, the Saranac River is down a steep embankment so it does not make for a good place to launch a boat (several public boat launches nearby).
The Mt Baker tiny house is a great basecamp for hiking the Saranac Lake 6-ers, paddling/boating along the Saranac Chain of lakes or Saranac River, Mountain Biking at Dewey, Pisgah or other nearby BETA trails.

This tiny cabin is completely off the grid: no electricity, heat or cooling.

Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain.
Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe.
Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year.
The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line.
Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property.
From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week

Conserved by the South Hero Land Trust, the historic Sawyer Bay Farm on the Island of South Hero was converted to grazing beef cattle.
Our farm name is Health Hero Farm.
We practice intensive planned grazing, moving the cattle daily to fresh grass. The herd may be near the campsites or completely out of sight, somewhere on our 180 acres.
While we were building a house, we camped in the equipment shed during the summer and grew to value its convenience.
Joan's enjoyment of cycling inspired her to designate the farm stand as a "bike stop" where visitors could buy a snack, get water, fix their bikes and use the unique islands amenity of a composing toilet in a converted ice fishing shack.
South Hero is an agricultural island, as well as a summer tourist destination with numerous outdoor activities.
It is also only a half-hour away from Burlington, and the drive is pleasurable.
Pitch your tent, stow your gear under cover and explore all the islands have to offer. Yes, this is a summer destination, with great cycling, boating and swimming. We are a grass-fed beef operation, Health Hero Farm, on the island of South Hero.

Our farm is on the bike route around the islands, with access to many other vacation activities.
Pitch your tent in the farmstead or in half of our empty equipment shed 30' x 60'. Or tool on down the farm road and be alone with the cattle and grass. In the shed, which is open on the north side, you have shelter from the rain, sun and wind. We have two campsites that can share a microwave, hot plate, refrigerator, camp sink and coffee maker in the barn. Lots of storage under roof for bikes and luggage. Our composting toilet (from Natures Head Composting Toilet) is a unique amenity -- installed in a retired ice-fishing shack (on skis).
During the busy summer months, we may have a port-o-let (a.k.a. port-a-potty) with professional service.
In the winter, the equipment shed not available. We rent out vehicle and boat storage in the equipment shed and cannot accommodate camping there. However, we have ample parking for RVs at any time of the year. And if you are an experienced snow camper, we have several locations to choose from.
We have a farm stand where you can buy a few snacks.
If you want to try our beef, we'll be happy to show you our freezers.
We are 2 miles from a convenience store that packs an amazing array of products into a small space. We are close to a gem of a public beach, a winery (Snow Farm Vineyard), apple orchards, a public school playground,
and miles of scenic driving.
Local farmers markets on Wednesdays and Saturdays offer some of the best produce from these agricultural islands. We also own 1000' frontage on Lake Champlain, which you may enjoy. It is difficult to access, but affords privacy and serenity.
We allow campfires on the gravel areas of the farm and on the beach, where you can gather dead wood.
If you want to host a large group, you will need to reserve both campsites and rent a port-o-let (Vermont's lingo for porta-potty) if we don't already have one. Additional fees might apply. There is no RV electrical hookup; however, the equipment shed has electric outlets for your use. Additional fees apply for energy intensive appliances, such as heaters or air conditioners.
There is no water hookup; however, we can fill your tanks with a hose from a potable water supply. Generators are not allowed, unless you are sufficiently distanced from other campers and our neighbors. Other accommodations may be available. Just ask!

Camp TedRock Adirondack Forest Retreat provides private and secluded off grid campsites and structures on 5 forested acres within the Blue Line of The Adirondack State Park in Thurman New York. Just minutes from I-87 and the Lake George Region, our A Frame site offers a 120 square foot authentic A-Frame cabin with an open Adirondack Lean-to approach. This 1-4 person A frame comes with 2 to 4 sleeping cots, 2 hammocks (available) with hanging space inside or out and plenty of space to pitch a tent all around, tent included. Down by the runoff stream (sometimes there is no runoff!) you'll find a fire ring with a cooking grill and outdoor seating. I can't say enough good things about our stay with Joan and the area in general. It was beautiful, relaxing, and just what my wife and I needed for a weekend away. This working farm was absolutely gorgeous and peaceful. Joan was such a generous host, she even invited us out to see the cows which was the highlight of our stay. The farm was easy to locate and there was plenty of room to maneuver virtually any size RV. We will absolutely be back for a visit in the warmer months!

This campsite was great! during the busy time of year, I can see it being nice because its slightly down the street from the main little wolf campground. So you are a bit removed from the main area but still within walking distance to all of its amenities! I was there when the main camp was closed so the beach was very nice and quiet! The fire pit was also a very nice touch!

This place is beyond beautiful! Between the view from your camp site, hot water showers & Louella being an excellent host, this place is one of a kind. She was/is the sweetest lady & came to help me when my car died & had fire wood ready for my arrival. Will book again!

A great, convenient, and thoughtfully laid out site. I stayed two nights while exploring the trails and really enjoyed the view over the field with their horses during the day and the stars at night were amazing. The outhouse was convenient and clean as well. I definitely plan on returning someday soon!

We arrived late and left early so didn't get to enjoy everything the site offered, but were pleased with our spot and would happily come back another time to explore more. We appreciated the privacy of our spot and the fact that there were hookups if we wanted them. The place is a bit hard to find at night (Google Maps and Apple Maps take you to different places), so recommend arriving while you still have some light.

We really appreciated finding such a nice site, with full hookups, in late October, when most all the regular campgrounds have closed for the season. We end up staying extra days, 4 days total, because of rain. Cozy spot. Still close to town for restaurants, laundry, groceries. Loved getting in a bike ride on the newly opened Adirondack Rail Trail, accessed just down the street.
Only negative, with the rain, the site called Forest View 1 got quite muddy. Too many campers have laid out big rugs, killing a large section of the grass. Otherwise, the sites are all grass.

Great little spot near the lake. Exactly as described. Good communication from host. Would recommend if you’re looking for a simple quiet stop over with hook ups and more room and flexibility than your average campsite - close to an area of natural beauty. Would recommend! Thank you for a great stay :)

The Farm was great site. We had plenty of privacy. The views were beautiful. Super easy check in and with clear Instructions. The location was perfect for Vermont as we did some hiking, and visited Burlington. Support local business.

Great people with a tranquil piece of land. Privacy if you want, group setting if you prefer. Outhouse with flush toilet was extremely clean. Clean running water. Shower in the works. Thanks Brian for sharing your land! I’m sure I’ll be back.

We loved camping here! Joan is a great host and made us feel at home. Our campsite had a wonderful view and felt like true Vermont countryside. We enjoyed exploring the Grand Isle area. We bought fresh beef from Joan before leaving. Will definitely camp here again in the future!
