Ted's place rocks! Great location for access to the Adirondacks with a comfortable quiet camp built with care. Ted makes getting immersed in the outdoors easy for all levels of experience.
Ted's A frame site was the perfect stay for us. We had the best time relaxing and recharging out in the woods there. Ted has done an outstanding job making his property inviting and comfortable while allowing you to be totally off grid and remote. The A-Frame was clean and spacious and right next to the hangout area of the campsite with an outhouse close by! The use of his all-terrain cart was invaluable to be able to take food back to the car at night, as there is a short walk on trails to the site. Next time we'll pack a "daily meal" cooler to make this easier for ourselves instead of hauling the main one back and forth!
When we arrived the site was prepped with our breakfast cooler add-on with fresh eggs, bacon, local syrup, and more! The firepit had a nice pre-built starter fire ready to light. Multiple lanterns in the cabin made our headlamps optional in the best way. We were the only ones there during the week and enjoyed the complete silence of the forest around us of his property. Despite that, we were still close enough to Lake George for a hike to the Pinnacle and anything we needed. Close by we were able to go kayaking on Garnet Lake (shout out to Ted for the recommendation!) and do some Loon watching.
Overall a wonderful stay and this will absolutely be a place we come back to in the future. Ted clearly cares about his guests experience and puts love and effort into these sites.
Because Camp Tedrock will knock your socks clear off!!! It was absolutely incredible! Peaceful and quiet. Ted was one of the best people I’ve ever rented from. Quick with responses and had so many unexpected pluses to the site. We can’t wait to come back!
Camp TedRock was exactly what we were looking for! An off the grid experience with some amenities that make it comfortable but still have the primitive camping feel.Ted thought of all the little things that make this happen!
Ted met us there and gave us the rundown on where to get supplies if we needed to in Warrensburg, had a great book with information, hiking suggestions, reading material, and games.
Since there is no cell service at the site, we have played more games of cards, Yahtzee, and checkers than I think we ever had! It was great to not have a phone!
Camp TedRock is a beautiful place to recharge from busy life.
I would highly recommend purchasing the breakfast package with local syrup, bacon, eggs, pancake mix, and English muffins. This was delivered in a cooler and has all you need for a great pre-hike breakfast.
We hiked the Sleeping Beauty trail, Snow Mountain, and the Rooster Comb. We plan on coming back and start on a couple of the 46ers.
This has been one of the most relaxing and memorable trips we have ever had. We will be back!

We loved staying at Ted’s property! The location is great, you’re secluded enough to never hear any traffic or city sounds, but still not too far of a drive into town. The campsite itself is very well maintained, Ted clearly takes great care of it. The bed in the cabin is super comfortable too, if I were to come back to the area I would definitely stay here again!
Found this spot doing some last minute planning for the fourth of July. The property is secluded yet still a short drive into town. There is a cabin for sleeping and a separate cabin for cooking with ladies bathroom. The host has another building in progress for a shower! Great basecamp for hiking trips, nearby swimming holes and the Chestertown challenge trails.
All of the positive reviews left for this site and Ted are 100% accurate. This site is a perfect choice for a middle of the roads camping experience- no service or electricity, but a roof over your head and a mat to lay your sleeping bag on! Ted stocked the site wonderfully with everything you could need and was very responsive (even when busy with the Saratoga summer concert season ;p) The site is quiet and remote but easy to access, and an easy 20 minute drive to Lake George. One note- the door and window can only be affixed closed from the outside, if you are squeamish about safety, but I recommend you keep them open to hear the owls through the screen! Can't wait to come back, especially once that new shower set-up gets finished!
I loved every aspect of Ted’s Land. A frame is amazing, spacious, comfortable and left us feeling very safe.
Ted the host is great! You can tell he is super passionate about the outdoors. He gave us recommendations for areas that we would never have found on our own. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to tell someone to visit on Ted’s Land. I look forward to planning another trip and sharing more stories with Ted.

Camp TedRock is awesome! The site is beautiful, well maintained, and peaceful. There are lots of details that show the care put into the experience, like the extra cot, extra lanterns, a bag of kindling, and hand written notes on nearby mountains and lakes. We would definitely come back!
My buddy and I booked with Ted for a weekend hiking trip up to the ADK's. Coming 9 hours from pittsburgh after work on friday we got in super late/early saturday morning. Knowing our mid night arrival. Ted went out and hung glow sticks for us to help us navigate back to the cabin. Was unexpected and came in clutch!
The a frame was perfect for our needs. The outhouse is in great condition. Beautiful property. Peaceful and well maintained.
Will definitely be back!

A Frame Campsite
Ted’s A frame was very cozy and secluded. He provided cookware, a camp stove, and tinder to start a campfire. My partner and I spent an anniversary weekend here and it was a lovely time. Would definitely stay here again!

This A Frame is our home away from home! It’s the perfect little hide away. We bring our two pups and they get to have open range with all the sticks in the world! You’re only 15 mins from town. Ted’s A Frame Cabin is just beautiful and we won’t be camping anywhere else! Thank you again for your hospitality and guidance
This was the perfect place as a quiet getaway and a base camp for Lake George excursions!

Ted has created a campground that meshes beautifully with the woods and nature that surrounds it! We've stayed in the A-Frame twice now and plan to return next fall to enjoy the colors. It is a very quiet place except for the sounds of birds and tree frogs. We heard a barred owl and a wood thrush this time around. There's a variety of native trees and the ground is very soft and covered with pine needles.

A Frame Campsite
Had a great time during our stay at Ted's A-frame cabin! The camp site was clean and had all the basic necessities including propane stove, cooking instruments, and cooler. Ted was nice enough to take us out on his kayaks to see one of the nearby lakes which was beautiful. Highly recommend!
The A-Frame is great! Ted has so thoughtfully prepared for his guests, providing everything from a camp stove and propane to water, cookware, and more, meaning you don't have to lug all your usual camping gear for a trip. We had plenty of room in the a-frame, appreciated the cots for cozy sleeping, and I swear the outhouse is the most tidy and well-stocked that I have experienced while camping. I highly recommend this fantastic site!

A Frame Campsite
Ted has about 5 acres of beautiful forested land with some marked trails that he has put in. No cell service which was exactly what we needed. We stayed in the A frame and it was perfect. He set us up with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our pup was along and enjoyed the stay as well. She was off leash and had plenty of room to play. We would definitely recommend this place.

A Frame Campsite
This A Frame Campsite was the most amazing experience EVER! The surrounding area around the campsite was so surreal with the changing of leafs and seclusion. We brought our 2 dogs and they had the time of their lives with all the sticks in the world. Ted was amazing having a heater and extra camping supplies really made the experience 10x better! We can not wait to go back again during the summer! Lake George is only 17 mins Away! Would HIGH RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE
The place was adorable, even prettier than the pictures. Ted, the host, was amazing. He arrived and the same time as us and gave us a good walk through with good explaination. We really enjoyed our time.

A Frame Campsite
Ted was communicative and helpful. The site was great and had everything that we needed for a relaxing weekend. The property was very private and secluded. It felt like we were camping in the woods, but were still close to amenities.
Ted was so great. He welcomed us at our site and had amazing hospitality. From the gas cook stove to the kindling he had already gathered. Such a passionate and kind host. This place is amazing, you won’t regret getting away at Camp Tedrock.

A Frame Campsite
Ted's A frame was cozy and well maintained. Very quite and peaceful. Would def come again for a long weekend.
This is a cool spot tucked back on a heavily wooded plot. The little A frame is perfect for the boys and they were comfy. There’s a nice spot for a fire and he includes everything you need to cook and survive. There was water and firewood too so we were able to sink right into the evening. We met Ted and his friend at the site and they helped set everything up, gave us a cart to wheel our stuff from the car and even offered to take us kayaking. They were so nice and it was comforting to know they were staying in another cabin right across the street if we needed anything. I would come back to this little spot!
Very secluded, peaceful and serene. Ted had the perfect setup, almost everything you could need! If I’m back in the area would definitely stay here again!
Definitely need to download the map area, very limited service. Personally I would recommend to be confident in your vehicle, the driveway is steep in a few spots and only rocks/dirt (would be best with AWD/4WD, but is doable 2wd)

Upper Works Camp Cabin w/tent site
A great spot! Would 1000% recommend. Ted welcomed us and gave us tips for exploration. Every thing was cozy and clean and plenty of privacy.
This was my first camping experience in the Adirondack Mountains and I loved it! There were beautiful trees everywhere and they kept us cool and shaded from the sun. It was peaceful at all times and very quiet. At night we did hear owls as promised! In exploring the grounds, I found Indian Ghost Pipes, mushrooms, toads and newts. At times we could hear small animals stepping on the leaves but they kept to themselves. Next time I will bring an extra camera so I can take way more pictures than I did!

Great spot to feel completely secluded yet provided with great camping amenities. Ted is available for anything if needed and the area has a lot of exploration to offer. The Aframe has so much thought and effort put into it. Can’t wait to go back.
I can't say enough good things about this space and Ted's hospitality. It's the perfect mix of being in the middle of the woods and feeling totally secluded, and also having so many amenities. There's no running water or electricity, but Ted leaves you plenty of drinking water and there are two different toilet options.
The A frame is spacious with windows that open and a double layer (heavy curtain and heavy roll down canvas) across the entryway. Both can be pulled aside/up so you could shelter indoors while watching the forest right in front of you.
There is also a little porch when you step out that I found perfect for exercise or just lying back to watch the trees above.
Ted has a table set up outside with a tarp and two burner propabe stove. And he has ALL the cooking equipment/dishes you could want: pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils, a tea kettle, a little fold up grill, grilling tools, dish soap, towels... Even Pam spray! Plus in the A frame there's also a rechargeable lantern, matches and a lighter... even a couple games and some bug spray.
The mosquitoes were bit annoyingly, but whatcha gonna do? Def not the worst I've experienced.
Oh and he had a gorilla cart to make carrying your stuff to the site a breeze + firewood.
I'd definitely suggest the A frame for more space, amenities and seclusion. (Unless there's someone camping at the adjacent site?)
I loved my time there and will absolutely be returning and recommending this spot to friends! 😍
