We live on 52 wooded acres in a natural area surrounded by lakes and ponds just 14 miles north of Montpelier VT. The campground is located along our town road and the sites are 50 - 100 feet apart along our driveway. This is not a wilderness experience you will have neighbors, including us. We are located on the Green Mountain Gravel Growler bike packing trail and have lots of hiking , biking, boating and swimming opportunities nearby. Our amenity's include a bath house with two flush toilets and a hot shower! We also now have a washer and dryer available for our campers. We have two 30 amp RV sites with full hook ups and 4 tent/small RV non electric sites. We are 100% solar powered and have good WIFI but no cell service. We cater to small quiet groups who can enjoy our peaceful setting. If your are bike packing and our sites are booked just text or stop in we will accommodate you. We are a family friendly, non smoking campground. We are open early May till late October. Pets on leashes are OK. Quiet time is all the time :~). 12 and under free, no Generators.

BlueberryHill Field Camp

The field is located next to the Blueberry Hill Inn and Outdoor, nestled in the heart of the Green Mountain National Forest and the Moosalamoo Recreation Area—offering stunning sunsets! We provide access to outdoor showers with hot and cold running water, as well as restrooms in the Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. For more information, visit our website at blueberryhilltrails dot com. While there is an internet connection near the buildings, please note that it's not guaranteed at your site. You can drive your car right up to your site, which offers privacy, though you may occasionally see other tents in the open field. For your campfire, you can forage for wood or request "bundles" (about a dozen pieces) by the morning of your arrival, and we'll have it delivered to your site. Please note, wood from outside Vermont is not permitted. Step outside your tent and you'll find a wealth of hiking, biking, and running trails. As stewards of these trails, your camping fees help support our efforts. Nearby, you can enjoy swimming, kayaking, and canoeing. Trail maps are provided upon arrival, and you can also view them online on our webpage at Blueberry Hill Outdoor Center. The Outdoor Center offers snacks and cold drinks for purchase, including our inn-made chocolate chip cookies, chips, and cold drinks.You can also request a full breakfast, pastries, packed lunch, and coffee from the inn across the road. There are also miles and miles of quiet dirt roads and abandoned forest tracks in the area, offering near endless opportunities for gravel cycling adventures. The property features perennial gardens, a pond, open meadows, forestland, and picturesque southerly views from the top of the north meadow. The tent, van and glamping sites are thoughtfully located in protected nooks in the forestland and along the forest's edge. Bridgeview Harbour Marina

Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain. Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe. Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year. The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line. Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property. From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week. Awesome site and property! Heather was a very kind host who made us feel very welcomed onto her farm! We purchased a wood bundle and a half dozen eggs from her and were very pleased with both! High quality wood and the eggs were delicious! The quarry was so refreshing to jump into and was the highlight of the site. There are kayaks to use on shore and a nice cliff to jump off of. If you want to hang in the water you should bring a flotation device since the whole thing is at least 45’ deep! Just one note: We stayed at the new quarry site and the site had an interesting fire pit. It is a very deep metal “cup”. Thankfully our tripod hanging cooking grate just barely fit over it so we could still use it but it is just something to be aware of. It’s pretty big so the fire is deep into the cup so its kind of tough to watch the fire unless you are standing up. The redeeming thing about it though is that it does a fantastic job of keeping the smoke out of your face! It forces the smoke straight up. Overall it was a 10/10 site and Heather has such a beautiful property! We will be back!

My husband and I loved being able to stay at The Dome with our pups for a night. The river is absolutely beautiful, we went in the swimming home as well as the falls. The property is private, well taken care of and soooo peaceful! The Dome took out breaths away. We knew it was still a work in progress but we absolutely loved it. We’ll be back here in no time! We loved how private and peaceful this campsite felt as it really felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Sure there are other sites on the property, but they are well-spaced. So you have plenty of privacy and quiet. We visited in early July and were treated to an incredible show of fireflies each night. Heather was a wonderful host—very responsive and helpful, and she gave us great recommendations for local places. The on-site shower with hot water at the farm stand was also a bonus. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a serene, private getaway close to nature!

We had a great time on Jon & Ann's site - the facilities were clean and functional, the wifi is strong, the area is quiet, safe and pleasant to stay in, it's an easy 20-minute drive to Montpelier and we even got some good birding advice! The swimming pond is about a 30-minute walk away and there's also good kayaking spot right next to the site. Recommended!

Jon & Ann's property didn't disappoint. Was a little hard to tell what we were coming to for the first time based on pics but it was perfect. Enough partial shade with a level pad for our 24' trailer....and the bath house was just perfect and well maintained. The wifi was super strong and reliable ta boot! Jon's a heck of a fellow and we got to swap great experiences with him while we were there.

From the start, Lucinda was wonderful—warm, personable, and attentive. She took the time to walk us through the layout of the land and all the amenities, which made us feel instantly at home. We stayed at the larger campsite right by the river, and it was clean, well-maintained, and peaceful. The sound of the water, the fireflies at night, and the secluded setting made for a truly memorable stay. A quick tip for families: there is some poison ivy along the outer edges, so just keep an eye on little ones. With a bit of caution, it’s no issue at all. We’ll absolutely be back the next time we’re in Vermont, and we highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for a serene escape.

Former Dairy Farm but, the milking and hay barns burned many years Past. Harold's View Farm now camping. There are 4 entrances to the 80 acres of hay fields, now camping sites. The property is perfectly nestled near the Green Mountains and the White Mountains, with a swimming hole and river fishing available right in the backyard. Bike trails, walking trails and stunning motorcycle routes are all at your fingertips from the property. Village amenities, such as groceries, bike shops, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, and laundromat are all in walking distance (about 1 mile or less). Lake St. Catherine State Park (hot showers here) and Lake Bomoseen and others are close by for fun park activities. Visit a local winery (Whaleback Vineyard), see how maple syrup is made (Thrall Road Maple), shop the neighboring farm stands for local eggs and produce. Close regional access to hunting, skiing, snowboarding. Lightning bug / firefly season is here at the riverside retreat! As you settle in for the evening, keep an eye out for our little lantern carrying friends, while the river babbles below. Coming soon: berry picking! Blackberry and raspberry bushes are fruiting and ripening in the coming weeks. They have already bloomed and are currently growing an abundance of berries, which you are welcome to pick. In the fall, feel free to collect crab apples from our 100+ year old former orchard. A quiet, beautiful private setting with brook side camping, a large field or in the woods. Located three miles up on Stoney Brook road with a beautiful stretch of the brook passing through the property. Stoney Brook feeds into the White River, which has multiple amazing swimming and fishing holes, and is great for kayaking, canoeing, and tubing. On site activities include fishing, swimming, hiking, and skiing. Situated close to Killington, Woodstock and various local points of interest. Know Town welcomes well mannered pets (2 per site). We are 420 friendly and geared towards hosting those interested in arts, music, meditation, and ecology. We are currently building a Geodesic dome that will be available to rent soon. However it is currently a bit of a construction site, so pardon the appearance. Also, it should be noted that there is currently no Wi-Fi or cell service. Please be aware that Vermont prohibits out-of-state Firewood. In the future we hope to have firewood for sale, until then firewood can be purchased locally. There is also plenty of dead wood on our property to scavenge.

Quiet Lake George Area Campground

Granite Hill Lodge and Campground is a re-invented campground, brought back to life with the purpose of providing a place of quiet and leisure in the busy Lake George area. Only 20 minutes to Lake George beaches, downtown and outlet shopping, Granite Hill is in a great location to enjoy the beautiful Adirondacks while providing a getaway in the foothills of Fort Ann. The newly designed campground provides a small camping feel with plenty of outdoor space to bike and hike. The property is located on the Champlain Canalway Bike Trail and has an established hiking trail and a smaller walking trail to beautiful overlooks, looking over the Adirondack Mountains. The Campground has 20 sites with a mix of Tent sites, Full Hook up sites (P/W/S) and Power and Water Sites (P/W). Due to multiple reservation systems, we do not have all of our sites listed on Hipcamp. If you are with a group or are in need of another site, send us a message and we will see how we can accommodate.

Pitch a tent near or next to your vehicle or park a small to medium sized camper and use it as a base camp while you explore Vermont. We are centrally located to Bethel, Royalton, Queechee, Woodstock, Rutland, Killington, Waitsfield, Randolph, Barre and Montpelier. What is there to do? Visit to our secret swimming hole located nearby...and White River access just down the road. Just up the road is the popular Silver Lake and State Park, great swimming, sunbathing, paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing. We are close to interesting activities, such as the White River National Fish Hatchery, Billings Farm, the Queechee Balloon festival, and more. Near by farm stands sell fresh organic produce, eggs, grass fed meats, homemade food products and crafts. What is there to eat and drink? Nearby restaurants include The Barnard Inn, Cloudland, Toziers, Tessi’s Tavern, Locust Creek Diner, The Bethel Sandwich Shop, Cockadoodle and Village Pizza. Babe’s Bar in Bethel offers amazing creative cocktails in an old railway station. In the village of South Royalton 12 miles away is our local Co-op. There you can access lots of healthy food choices, many locally sourced and lots of drinks, it's our go to market. Three miles up Route 12 is the Barnard General Store and gas station they have just about everything a camper could want. They stock ice, fresh baked goodies, fruit and vegetables, prepared foods and many locally produced delights such as ice cream, kombucha and fresh baked goods. Their meat case features, sausages, thick pork chops, fresh air chilled chicken, local grass fed beef and they always have fresh Farro Island salmon. They also offer wine, beer and ciders. A mile away on 107 is the Locust Creek General Store and gas station, they uniquely offer block ice, diesel and kerosene, drinks, simple fresh sandwiches, many frozen foods and lots of newspapers. Camp Ebb and Flow

Camp Ebb and Flow is located on the western edge of the White Mountains, near the crossing of the Appalachian Trail and a short drive to VT. Three lakes nearby for swimming, kayaking, and fishing. Hiking trails nearby. The camp offers RV sites with water, electricity, and sewer, an RV site with no hookups, and several tent sites. One of the tent sites has water and electricity and another has electricity with nearby water. There is bathhouse with two toilets and two vanities as well as a shower with changing room. Potable water is also available from a spigot at the bathhouse. There are over six acres of mowed fields for activities and walking. There is also a lovely brook running through the property with many areas you can cool off in from the summer heat. This property has a lengthy history going back to colonial times. It’s been a farm, an apple orchard, and once had a sawmill. Please check the calendar for available dates. Check-in is no later than 9pm unless late arrival arrangements have been made prior to booking. Whenever possible, try to arrive before dark because there are no lights at most sites, which can make setup difficult. A note regarding electric vehicles (EV): If you have an electric vehicle and would like to tent camp, please select one of our full hookup RV sites. If you have the proper electric adapter for your vehicle, you can charge your vehicle at the 30A RV plug while tenting in the field near the RV site. We do not supply these adapters, and we cannot allow you to charge your vehicle unless you have reserved an RV site with full hookups. If you do not see an open site for the days you'd like to get away, please contact us. Sometimes we can make other arrangements, allowing you to stay.

Fern Hollow

Our property is nestled in the foothills of the Mad River Valley, close to the headwaters of the river. The property is composed of wetlands, agricultural meadows, old apple trees, and hardwood forest with 700 feet of elevation. All structures on the property are solar-powered and a rainwater system feeds the sink in the outdoor kitchen. There are a handful of individual camp sites available in the spring, summer and fall, as well as a communal outdoor kitchen with lighting, a fire pit, a stone pizza oven and a sitting/yoga deck. We also offer more of a "glamping" experience in our 14 ft yurt, which comfortably sleeps 2-3 people with wood stove heat and a solar battery for lighting. We love sharing this space with others and offering a rustic forest getaway.
