Amazing large area for us to setup. Quiet area, even when it was cold and raining we had enjoyed out surroundings. Lots of flexibility to pick our spot and campgrounds were well maintained as they were freshly mowed. Would come here again!

Gorgeous farm! Campsite was in view from the road & another site, but very distant. Perfect spot for stargazing, lovely sunrise, and a very cool treehouse by the tree line. Beautiful views of the sunset 10 min down the road & lots to do in the area

Tent camping at this site was exactly how it was described! Very spacious and open but the wooded grove allowed for some privacy. The property is stunning. The only thing was the fire ring had some debris from previous campers, but other than that it was perfect. Would stay again!!

We had a great experience, however, we never saw signs for site 7. We were not sure that we stayed at site 7. The photos listed were not what our site looked like. It could have been better if a message with clear directions prior to our 2pm check-in would have been helpful.

We loved our stay at Ruben’s sunflower meadow! He gave us several options on where to camp and we picked our favorite. Would absolutely recommend and stay again!

Site 5 wooded knoll
Site 5 was a phenomenal tent site on Rupert’s land! We brought our dog Loki and he loved running around in the grass off leash. The site was easy to find and Rupert was kind and communicative. I would highly recommend this site to everyone!

Site 4 is a big open meadow/field. Down the hill from the property road is the 200 year old maple tree. Near that tree are more trees with a clearing for the stone circle fire pit, picnic table and chairs.
There are two trees that make a perfect set up for a hammock near the fire. Plenty of privacy. We used a tent and rooftop tent. Plenty of options for set up.

This camp site was a dream come true. I highly recommend this site to anyone who is looking for an awe-inspiring view of mountains. I stayed here in April in a rooftop tent and even though the weather was cold, the view made up for it. I will definitely come back to visit this site again in any season.

Sweet spot. Was winter and they furnished us with a lot of dry ash wood , also dogs allowed and can be free to fly around on their own volition . His brother was a gentlemen too and showed us to our spot. Recommend !

This was a great spot to go camping! We had a great time even though there was a foot of snow. The neighbors we very helpful and wanted to make sure we got to our site ok! Overall we had a great experience at this site.

Ended up staying at the barn because of a lot of rain. Views were gorgeous and all the sites seemed great and pretty private. Host was super accommodating and we had a great time!

Rupert was super helpful! It was raining out so he hooked us up with a more suitable site that worked even better for our cycling group of 7. Firewood and ice for purchase nearby. There was cell phone reception too which is sometimes rare in parts of VT. We would definitely stay here again!

First time using hipcamp and had a great experience! Stayed at the barn site and had the whole place to ourselves. Rupert was nice and showed us up to the site and told us where to get firewood down by his farmstand. Our dog had a blast playing fetch with all the open space! Great views for sunset and star gazing. Totally quiet and can’t hear the road at all. Had cell service if you’re into having that. Would come again!

Fantastic place to escape for a while. No shortage of beautiful views and things to see. A nice, quiet spot to just be. Rupert was kind and accommodating, I look forward to returning here in the spring.

Stayed 2 nights up near the barn on sugarwoods meadows. Beautiful spot and a cool old barn as a backdrop. Had the entire field to ourselves. Mountains and clouds as a backdrop. Had a full moon as well. Excellent stay! Fire wood available and you can hear owls and coyotes off in the woods. So peaceful.

The land was so beautiful, near the cutest towns. The campsite was so well maintained and had these fun tall chairs to sit in and look at the sunset. Great camp store with firewood and goodies from the farm. Would absolutely stay again! If you like camping that has more of a clearing to look at the sky, surrounded by beautiful farm and mountains, this is a great spot.

We had a great time at sugar wood meadow! Rupert was very helpful and found us the best site for the large group that we had.
Site 2 was awesome, and set nicely against a wooded forest. The large, open field felt private and secluded from the farm. It was another wonderful weekend in southern VT!

It was amazing! Rupert was very hospitable! As was his family, we had a little trouble finding the campsite but his brothers had no problem showing us where it was. The view was gorgeous, it was quiet and private. 10/10 I would definitely come back! Our kids loved it, our dogs loved it, it was awesome!

Site 5 is nice & secluded in the woods. There's a fire ring, but no clear spot to pitch a tent. The price is too high for a primitive campsite without amenities.

Absolute gorgeous sites and views! Tons of wildlife throughout our trip and despite our lack of luck with weather it was still amazing. Host was extremely pleasant and accommodating. Looking forward to staying again sometime soon!
