Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Shady Grove

We loved this site, it was so peaceful and spacious enough for us to all set up our tents with plenty of room to spare. The kids really loved playing in the river and exploring the site. Tina and Chiefy were wonderful hosts, they told us all the local attractions, made sure we had all that we needed throughout our trip. They even helped my son by fixing his flat tire. I wouldn't change a thing it was a perfect trip. I can't wait until we visit again!!

A wonderful welcome back

Our second stay at Sweet Song Acres was as great as our first! We had a few hiccups at the start of our trip but Tina was super helpful and accommodating. We love the privacy of the lot and beauty of the water. I’m very sure we’ll be back!!

So good!

Chiefy and Tina were excellent hosts and the site was everything we wanted and needed. Quiet, clean and welcoming. The river was low, but it didn't detract from the experience. This was our first trip there, but it won't be the last.

Such a Treat!

Love this area. Chiefly and Tina take great care of the outhouse and area which you camp in. We stayed at the Southernmost Point and it was a treat to be able to find crawdads in the river. They also recommended an incredible swimming hole that was such a dream on a hot day. We also had it all to ourselves :) We love this place and will be coming again!

Shady Grove

Absolutely beautiful campsite. The new and improved road was a pleasant surprise upon arrival. Tina and chiefly were very quick to respond when we needed more wood for our fire. This was our 3rd year staying here and we plan on coming back many more times.
