Thank you for a great 2025 season, as our 6th season closes, we still maintain a few sites for late Fall/early Winter (tent & van/camper sites)! Enjoy the Vermont Countryside year round. Our farm is nestled along a country road between several other farms, mostly horses and a special needs/therapy farm, we are hobby farmers/homesteaders. We have three sites open anytime, during camping season (depending on weather), either all three tent camping sites or a mix of one or two for camper vans & small trailers (into late Fall/early Winter). If there is any question please ask, we can modify the schedule but are only able to accommodate three sites at any given time. Thanks and PLEASE email if you have any questions! The Guilford Fairgrounds is less than 1/4 mile away and has many hiking and biking trails. The land was originally part of a colonial Glebe Trust with the Church of England and divided up, the original 100+ year farmhouse and barn can be seen from many of the campsites. Guilford, Vermont is located in the southeast of Windham County, resting along the Massachusetts border to the south and New Hampshire not far to the east. A community with a long and interesting history, Guilford was actually Vermont’s largest town as long ago as 1790. Now, with a population of about 2,100, its by no means considered a large community yet with its beautiful old covered bridges, churches, and one-room schoolhouse, Guilford maintains an unmistakable sense of history while at the same time having a reputation as one of the truly unique small communities in southern Vermont. Guilford has some of the most quintessential small town landmarks in all of Vermont. Sites like the Christ Church, Broad Brook House, and Guilford Center Meeting House were all built in the early 19th Century and are now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These buildings are found in what is considered the historic Center; shop for great local products at the Guilford Country Store, visit the charming Free Library, or even see some of the exhibits at the Historical Society Museum to learn more about the area and its history. Beyond the town center, venturing through the rest of Guilford will enable you to see the beautiful Vermont landscape.

Three large sites; totally different in many ways but all share the same property and amenities Maple Ridge Farm has to offer: "Field View Site" (Site#1) is our largest site and can accommodate up to fourteen people easily and still maintain privacy.  Formerly two sites, Field View Site provides much more privacy and space to spread out and relax!  There's a variety of terrain/layout in the rolling fields; site main area is centered around an old Horse Round Pen and has fire ring, cooking grate, old-fashion cook stove, and two wooden picnic tables.   The field is the most accessible site from the car parking area along a flat, wooded trail, a 5 minute stroll either past the goats and ducks or thru the woods.  It offers privacy from everything else, still plenty of shade and great views of the Hollow/Valley and the Eastern Mountain Range.  Again, this site can accommodate larger groups with multiple tents in and around an old Horse Round Pen/Paddock or open fields.  Other field areas offer areas under the apple trees or overlooking the apple trees or at the top of the field overlooking the neighboring 1880s Farmhouse and Barn.  Field View Site is adjoining the Communal Fire Pit/Cook Area but has all of its own amenities as well but also is next to a two-story clubhouse with slide and porch swing (great site for kids) so it makes a great site for children! "Ridge View Site" (Site#2) is a mountainside, wooded area with many flat areas to accommodate multiple tents affording mountain views and privacy.  Many areas to "spread out" and have a relaxing, peaceful, secluded camping experience.  Formerly three different sites, the main site area has a wood picnic table, fire pit and cooking grate but other areas perched on the edge of a trail leading off to a fern grotto under mature pine trees or down the trail along some giant cedar trees, all of which can accommodate larger groups with multiple tents and still provide privacy.  A 5 minute walk up a switchback trail or a more leisurely stroll up from the Communal Fire Pit/Cook Area along an old horse trail.  Side-By-Side ATV assistance is available for pack-in/out along with a small outhouse and tool/equipment shed (new for 2022).  This site is between car-camping and back-packing, you're 5 minutes from your car but you'll feel like miles away! "Pond View Site" (Site#3)  is at top of the ridge and offers a beautiful view of a neighboring pond (sorry...POND NOT ACCESSIBLE, only the view) but is very secluded and private with plenty of room to spread out and accommodate multiple tents.  It is truly a natural beauty and sunrise is a superbly zen experience!  Chose you own site, formerly two sites, some areas offer better views or more room, view the pond from your tent opening at sunrise is spectacular!  A large fire pit with cooking grate along with a wood picnic table and trash can is located on the main area of the site and as all the sites, this one can accommodate large groups as well and will afford much privacy, tranquility and seclusion.  This site also is near the ridge top outhouse (new for 2022) and equipment shed and is only a 5 minute hike or 6-8 minute stroll but complimentary shuttle service via our all terrain ATV is available to help pack your gear in and out. Stroll the farm grounds, pet the dwarf goats, feed the chickens, ducks, ghinea hens and quail....they're all friendly!  Take advantage of some of our complimentary amenities such as:   pick your own apples and try making homemade apple cider (in-season);  farm fresh eggs available right from the hens from all types of birds; fresh veggies available from our mobile farm stand (in-season) which is the old '51 farm truck; coffee/tea/bottled water is always free in the Rec Room along with plenty of area maps and trail maps!  Farm-made Maple Syrup, sunflowers (in-season), and various sundries/gifts are all available at our Farm/Camp Store.  Our farm, Maple Ridge Farm, in Guilford is about 4 mile drive to downtown Brattleboro but many other trails, swimming/boating/fishing holes, state parks, ice cream stands and a general stores are all within 2-3 miles away in Guilford.  Stay with us and experience a truly quintessential Vermont country weekend! Many horse farms in the vicinity may offer lessons/riding nearby within 2-3 miles in and around Guilford/Brattleboro. Weekend at campsite w/pond view

We had a great time at the pond view campsite! Anthony was so kind and helped us bring all of our gear up and brought firewood up to us several times. The pond view was a little less dramatic than we were expecting but it was still a beautiful area and very private. Another note is that it was just us two single girls this weekend and we felt very safe. It was nice to know there was a family nearby if we needed them. All in all, we definitely recommend this site and would come back!

We had a really nice time overall. Please be aware that there's a significant hill to climb, and we had a slightly strange interaction with the other campers staying (no fault at all of the host, just be aware that 2 of the sites overlook each other). The toilets were needing to be emptied (both are porta-potty types). We didn't shower but it's good to note that the shower is very visible from the pathway in case you're considering. Lovely host and location is remote and in the woods.

Such a beautiful, well-kept space that makes you feel like you’re tucked away in your own cove. We had easy access to a toilet, lots of tools provided by Anthony, a fire pit, picnic table; everything we needed and more! Very gracious hosts and kind people. We loved staying on Anthony’s land!!

This was an amazing place to camp. Our site was in viewing distance of site 2 but you still have tons of room to spread out and pitch your tents. We had two tents and plenty of space. It’s great that it’s pet friendly, an amazing place for your dog to be off leash. Keep in mind you do have to hike in to your campsite but it’s only about a 5-10 minute walk up a switchback with a little incline. Anthony greeted us the day we arrived and drove up all our stuff in his ATV. He was extremely friendly and generous our entire trip. We didn’t see him the day of departure and we carried our things down to the car which took a couple trips but I’m sure he’s able help bring your things back down if you coordinate with him! There were free farm eggs and fresh peppers and apples. I would bring a very sturdy cooler or food storage because we did have a critter break in to our food bag and steal a pack of hot dog buns the second night. Overall I would definitely recommend this campsite! Anthony was incredibly kind and thoughtful and we felt super safe. Thanks so much for hosting us Anthony!

Had such an incredible weekend at Maple Ridge Farm — truly, we could not have asked for more wonderful hosts than Alfeen and Tony. From the moment we arrived, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Alfeen greeted us and helped transport our gear to the campsite on her ATV, which was such a thoughtful gesture and a huge help. Tony was incredibly kind, and we loved chatting with him and hearing his stories while exploring their amazing rec room — stocked with board games, books, darts, foosball, and something for everyone to enjoy. We stayed at the Field View site, which was perfect. We spent the evening under the stars, cooking on the grates, laughing together, and even catching a wedding happening below while the moon rose above us. The next morning, we were blown away by the generosity of our hosts once again — farm-fresh eggs in beautiful shades of green, brown, and white, along with colorful peppers and crisp apples, all thoughtfully provided by Alfeen and Tony. Their kindness, hospitality, and attention to detail truly made this experience unforgettable. To say that we’ll be back is an understatement. This was such a special place, made even more special by the people who run it.

My family and I loved our stay at Anthony and Alfeen's farm. Our site was secluded and quite. There were not other campers during our stay but the sites were well apart so I believe privacy can be kept if camp sites are occupied. Highly recommend Maple Ridge Farm.

My group of friends and I stayed the weekend at Ridgeview and really enjoyed it! Beautiful area with a bit of a hike up to our site. Really appreciated Alfeen and Tony helping get our supplies to/from the car and campsite on their ATV. Distance between campsites was perfect. The little hut that contained some community/shared supplies (saw to get firewood, pan, water cooler) was very nice as well. On our last day, it rained and we spent time in the Rec Room which was a very relaxing and adorable space with board games, a fan, dart board, and books. Overall, really enjoyed speaking to our hosts and loved our trip! Thanks!

Great location (watering holes, hikes, restaurants, breweries, distilleries; Pikes Falls in Jamaica VT was a perfect kid friendly water hole, and nearby Naked Beer was a hit with parents and kids)! Beautiful view from where we stayed. Helpful hosts who helped us get our gear to the site on an ATV. Delicious eggs offered as well. Our kids really enjoyed access to the playroom. Other campers were there at same time and we could barely hear anything. Functional bathroom that worked as expected.

Incredible Weekend at Maple Ridge!

We had an amazing weekend camping at Site 1 (Field View) at Maple Ridge Farm. Our group of 7 friends had plenty of space to spread out near the communal site, which made the whole experience feel easy and relaxed. Anthony and Alfeen were incredibly welcoming and helpful—they even delivered firewood right to our campsite, which was such a nice touch. The wagons provided made loading and unloading our gear a breeze, and everything about getting set up felt simple and smooth. We lucked out with clear skies and got to enjoy some beautiful stargazing each night. During the day, we took advantage of the nearby activities—playing pickleball at local courts and swimming at the nearby dam. The location is ideal for both relaxing at the site and heading out for some fun. We’re already talking about coming back, especially during peak fall foliage season. Thanks again to our fantastic hosts for a great stay!

We have stayed at Maple Ridge for the second year in a row for our organization's annual bike camping trip. Anthony is such an accommodating and welcoming host, and the property has everything we need for a great camping experience! The Field View site offers a great communal feel for a large group with plenty of spots to still tuck your tent away and find some privacy.

This is at least my 4th time returning to Maple Ridge Farm. Our hosts Anthony and Alfeen are always so kind and go above and beyond to ensure their guests comfort. This was not limited to pulling our friends car out of some mud- we really appreciate it. Beautiful area and close to Brattleboro and not far from Shelburne Falls, this is definitely a favorite spot of ours!

We went camping here for memorial weekend and had an absolute blast! We had the entire campsite to ourselves and was able to set up in the communal area. Anthony is very friendly and brought our stuff to our car in his atv. Just watch out for ticks when going into the wooded areas because we found multiple on ourselves and our dogs.

Anthony was super awesome and hospitable. I brought my truck to camp in and they are tent only sites. He set me up in a great spot anyway and brought me. Fire ring so I could still have a fire. Free eggs and apples! Cute lil room too with coffee games and books :)
