Green Mountain Retreat
This was our fifth time staying at John's Green Mountain Retreat. It has become a favorite spot for me and my family over the past four years. While we usually spend our days swimming and lounging in the lovely pond, this time we experienced a rainy Saturday and passed much of our time reading, playing games, listening to music on the hand cranked record player and napping inside the cabin. It was chilly enough to use the indoor wood stove so we were quite cozy and time seemed to slow down, which is a true gift in this day and age.

Green Mountain Retreat
One of the best hipcamps I've ever stayed at! You can't beat the view and it is so well stocked, a sink for dishes, enough drinking water, AND solar powered indoor lights! The best!!!

Green Mountain Retreat
This was our 2 year old son's first camping trip, and it was absolutely perfect!! The camp had plenty of room, the pond was fun to check out, our son and dog had plenty of freedom to roam and walk around with us. The setup had everything we needed - cookware in the kitchen, outhouse was immaculate, bedding was provided, plenty of water. John was so kind and hospitable. We are already looking to see when we can come back! This place is a gem for sure, and how lucky are we to have this family share this with us. Thank you, thank you!

Off grid tranquility.
Simplicity at its best, if you crave peace and quiet John's land/cabin is the ticket. You'll have everything you need to relax. Stellar views with expansive windows on 3 sides providing good air flow as well. The outhouse is very functional and hilarious.
