Harold's View Farm now camping. There are 4 entrances to the 80 acres of hay fields, now camping sites. Three entrances are for two sites each, the house entrance is for any questions. Please stop in if you have questions.
The fields have been maintained to some degree until 2019 when Lee came up with the idea of primitive camping. The land turns out to be ideal because each site makes you feel like the only campers there.
New this year you will find a picnic table for 6 and a 3 Ft. dia. fire pit with adjustable grill that flips out for open fire @ each site.

6 Sites are on Sunrise Farms 75 acre Conservation land with 50 mile view for Sites 1 and 2. Very quiet area with lots of wildlife and ponds and disc golf. Very quiet with great swimming and lots of hikes right from your sites.
2 of the Brookside Sites (Wishbone Left and Right) are close by (2.7 miles) where we have another 1/2 mile of river frontage and can handle bigger groups as Conservation land on Sunrise Farm only allows 4 campers per site.
Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide.
Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from.
Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear.
We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest).
- PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use).
Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as Outhouses are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Do Not Leave food out when camping or away from site. Bears are rarely seen but it is wild country. Sites have locking garbage lids.
Unique and lovely as well as being next to trails and roads to miles of remote spots with very few if any ... people.
In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or park up by farmhouse and hike in so you can easily get out. When wet park up by the road if you have 2 wheel drive.
Always WISE to arrive When LIGHT out as we do not live at the site and are not able to show guests to their sites as a result.

In addition to being close to several major winter resorts, we have started our own private trail system for various levels of back country skiing, and snow shoeing. Know Town welcomes well mannered dogs (2 per site). We are 420 friendly and geared towards hosting those interested in arts, music, meditation, and ecology. We also have two sites for those that want to bring their own tent, adventure rig, camper or RV. All sites are accessible with 2WD and are privately situated on our 14 acre property. We also have a bike wash station and outdoor shower.
These are private sites on our property. You'll drive past our home, garage, and garden to get to each site and you'll be able to see our buildings from the sites. We have a very large English Mastiff and some hens. Both are contained in our fenced in yard. Eggs can be purchased upon request. We also have a some dirt jumps if you need to get warmed up before your ride, and a simple bike wash station ready to go when you get back.
Lots of wildlife inhabit our area of Vermont. During your stay you're likely to see whitetail deer, squirrels and chippies, rabbits, and hawks. There's a chance you may see a fox, black bear, moose or even a bobcat! We ask that food is secured in your vehicle and not brought into the bell tents, for your own safety. We do have a basket of safety equipment in each tent. The basket contains bug spray, bear horn, simple first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, and a flash light.

Tent sites can accommodate multiple tents, for group camping. Multiple fields available for yard games. Can accommodate parties and celebrations. 10’x10’ or 10’x20’ pop up shade tents available to rent upon request (with or without sidewalls). Excellent site for photo shoots, glamping, stargazing, sunbathing, leaf peeping, bachelor/ette, birthday parties.

Note that we do not charge a cleaning fee like some sites.
We appreciate our guest leaving the camp as found. So far so good!
Camp has the following: LP 2 burner cook top, pots and pans, dishes, flat ware, some spices and such.
Fresh clean water will be at the camp when you arrive.

you still wish to bring your own drinking water please do so in reusable jugs. We are trying to limit plastic use.
NOTE:
Using GPS, Google map, or other device our address may come up as Perkinsville, Ascutney, or even Springfield even though the town is Weathersfield.
Check the map and just confirm that Center Grove Rd is shown or called out as off of Weathersfield Center Rd.
Firewood for the outside fire pit is available under extras.
However if it has rained or raining you may want to bring kindling wood.
We now have slab wood for sale if you do not want to rummage for wood in the forest

We are only 5 minutes from I-91 and the Massachusetts border.
As the sun sets, golden light spills across the rocks and wildflowers, and the sky deepens to hues of lavender and ember. At night, stars emerge in dazzling clarity, unobscured by city lights or canopy, with the Milky Way streaking overhead like a celestial river.

A quiet, beautiful, private setting with brook side camping, and glamping! Located three miles up on Stoney Brook road, with a beautiful stretch of the brook passing through the property. Currently in the winter months, we hope to provide a little “Snow Town” in Known Town. For the hardy winter campers and Van Folk, we have our 30 foot diameter Geodesic dome, and/or park and plug in options. In addition to being close to several major winter resorts, we have started our own private trail system for various levels of back country skiing, and snow shoeing. Know Town welcomes well mannered dogs (2 per site). We are 420 friendly and geared towards hosting those interested in arts, music, meditation, and ecology. Also, it should be noted that there is currently no Wi-Fi or cell service. Please be aware that Vermont prohibits out-of-state Firewood. We sell firewood for dome and campfires, and guests are welcome to scavenge the plethora of downed dead wood on the property.

Experience all that the northeast kingdom of Vermont has to offer while staying at Green Mountain Glamping. Ride the Kingdom Trails right from the property! Nestled among the trees, our bell tent sites feature comfortable beds, pillows, linens, towels, a picnic table, smokeless fire pit, large ADA portapotty and more! We also have two sites for those that want to bring their own tent, adventure rig, camper or RV. All sites are accessible with 2WD and are privately situated on our 14 acre property. We also have a bike wash station and outdoor shower.
These are private sites on our property. You'll drive past our home, garage, and garden to get to each site and you'll be able to see our buildings from the sites. We have a very large English Mastiff and some hens. Both are contained in our fenced in yard. Eggs can be purchased upon request. We also have a some dirt jumps if you need to get warmed up before your ride, and a simple bike wash station ready to go when you get back.
Lots of wildlife inhabit our area of Vermont. During your stay you're likely to see whitetail deer, squirrels and chippies, rabbits, and hawks. There's a chance you may see a fox, black bear, moose or even a bobcat! We ask that food is secured in your vehicle and not brought into the bell tents, for your own safety. We do have a basket of safety equipment in each tent. The basket contains bug spray, bear horn, simple first-aid kit, fire extinguisher, and a flash light.

The property is perfectly nestled near the Green Mountains and the White Mountains, with a swimming hole and river fishing available right in the backyard. Bike trails, walking trails and stunning motorcycle routes are all at your fingertips from the property. Village amenities, such as groceries, bike shops, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, and laundromat are all in walking distance (about 1 mile or less). Lake St. Catherine State Park and Lake Bomoseen and others are close by for fun park activities, ice fishing, swimming. Visit a local winery (Whaleback Vineyard), see how maple syrup is made (Thrall Road Maple), shop the neighboring farm stands for local eggs, produce and baked goods. Close regional access to hunting, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, ice skating.
Leaf peeping is such a treat around the cabin. Blackberries and fiddleheads on the property! In the fall, feel free to collect crab apples from our 100+ year old former orchard. *When in season. Bring your rod or nets for trout and crawfish from the river. Bonus ideas: pool noodles or a pool floaty and some rope to relax in the current.
New additions: 6-seater triple hammock stand with built in picnic table. Fire pits and hammocks now at all sites! (Hammocks upon request in winter months at tent sites. Always available with cabin booking.)
Tent sites can accommodate multiple tents, for group camping. Multiple fields available for yard games. Can accommodate parties and celebrations. 10’x10’ or 10’x20’ pop up shade tents available to rent upon request (with or without sidewalls). Excellent site for photo shoots, glamping, stargazing, sunbathing, leaf peeping, bachelor/ette, birthday parties.

Guests are welcome to relax by the pond and grab eggs from the chicken coop. Many breweries and restaurants in the area as well as berry picking farms and apple orchards. Guest can also enjoy renting a canoe and spending the day on the Connecticut river or attending local events in Brattleboro like first Friday (a monthly gathering of local craft makers, food trucks, and music). We are only 5 minutes from I-91 and the Massachusetts border.
As the sun sets, golden light spills across the rocks and wildflowers, and the sky deepens to hues of lavender and ember. At night, stars emerge in dazzling clarity, unobscured by city lights or canopy, with the Milky Way streaking overhead like a celestial river.

It all started on a first date in Boston....Nick had to excuse himself to take a phone call. His cow had fled its pasture. Much to Tara's surprise in that moment, this man she had just met was finishing his engineering degree at Northeastern, but was simultaneously building a homestead in Vermont.
Fast forward 7 years, and here we are, building the life we only dreamed of.
We yearned for simplicity. Deeper connections to our surroundings and mother nature. A calmer sense of place. The satisfaction that comes from growing food. Creating with our hands. We're a working farm and homestead. Every day at Quarry Brook is a new adventure, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We stayed 2 nights with our 2 dogs in March. The weather was colder than usual, both nights below freezing temps outside. The wood stove had no issue keeping the inside of the cabin very warm despite the cold (accidentally let it get up to 80+ degrees and had to open windows). We brought all of our usual camping gear because I like it be overly prepared but didn't need most of it at all. Would have been fine if we just brought food and clothing everything else is provided. Very quiet and secluded feel with a nice view overlooking valley below and mountain across the valley. Good view of the sky and no light pollution. Great trip very relaxing was able to put phones away and unwind.

The river is so beautiful and peaceful that you can see and hear out the window. The cabin had everything you could need and Robyn was very quick and helpful with any questions. And the area is very dog friendly.. The heater was plenty warm for the cold nights.. I am a smoker and we were getting a little bit of rain so Robyn brought me over a canopy and set it up for me. Overall wonderful time

I spent a day at Robbin's little cabin by the Poultney river with my partner, and it was so wonderful! The river is beautiful, and the cabin is cozy and felt like the perfect amount of space for a nice little dinner, cards, reading, having coffee. The cabin felt well stocked and Robbin was really responsive! I'd definitely come back :)

This is my third time at this dome with the same best friend. We love it every time. We go on walks, downhill skiing, cross country skiing, and love coming back to the yurt with a fireplace.
We have brought a dog with us every time and it has been extremely easy. The bed isn't huge so depending on how many dogs sleep with you, think about that.
It also does take some time for the yurt to actually start warming up after starting a fire, so take that into account on what time you are arriving and how cold it will be. However, once hot, you could be roasting.

Weekend Trip to Bent Apple Farm
My wife and planned this as a winter get away and we had an amazing time. The cabin/tree house was very quant, well taken care of and you can tell the love and caring they put into this.
The snow was glorious and the snowshoeing in the fields and trails right out the door was perfect.
Loana was incredibly helpful and responsive. The night we arrived they got about 7-8” of snow. They called their plow guy and it was taken care of.
We will be returning next winter, for a blissful, relaxing and romantic trip.

The wood stove was super easy to use! The fire started quickly, and warmed up the cabin very quickly! Perfect amount of space for three people to stay, although 4 folks would fit comfortably as well! We liked that the loft was carpeted. The burner and fridge were great to have. Special shout out to the bell on the outside of the cabin, it was a delightful addition to the aesthetic.

Brought my girlfriend and her two pups to Robbin’s little cabin for a pre Valentine’s Day get away. The cabin is adorable and Robbin is a wonderful host. The cabin is well stocked and a perfect relaxation station for a little system reset. Had a a visiting Bald Eagle perch in the tree above me while I grilled some steaks on the little charcoal grill for dinner. We also enjoyed the fire pit and even took a midnight walking adventure on the snowmobile trail that was near by with the pups.

We stayed at Pine Cone Cabin in late January when it was -16 degrees out. The cabin kept us warm with the wood stove, and we enjoyed a quiet weekend away. The driveway was plowed when we arrived making it easy for us to park close to the cabin and there was wood available for purchase even though we had come prepared. This is our second time staying at the cabin. Our last visit was in summer. I think both seasons are equally enjoyable at this space as long as you are well prepared.

2 nights at Pine Cone Cabin
My stay at Pine Cone Cabin was exactly what I'd hoped for. The perfect balance of rustic simplicity and creature comforts. The wood stove kept the cabin warm all night even when the temps dipped to 0 degrees. Though there are a few houses nearby, the cabin feels and is incredibly private. I felt safe there as a woman alone, from out of town.
I don't love portapotties so I brought my own camping toilet to offset my need for it, and appreciated there being ample space in the bathroom to set it up. That said, the portapotty was clean and had no odor.
I loved exploring the nearby forests - some are closed during winter but Kettle Pond State Park's trail is open and well worth walking through... wintertime in Vermont is truly something :)
fyi, Mint mobile cell signal in the cabin and general area is spotty and mostly nonexistent, which I anticipated and was glad to have downloaded some music and a couple movies in advance.
A perfect stay - I'd love to return.

Bow and Laurie were welcoming. The dome was amazing with everything you need to be comfortable. My wife and I enjoyed the stay here. There is a small stream flowing by. We visited right after a snow fall. The place looked magical both during day and night. I would also recommend this place for anyone who loves stargazing.
