Green Mountain Glamping

Excellent place to camp in the NE Kingdom. Short drive to all the trailheads for Mtn Biking or ½ mile ride to access trails directly. Betsy does a wonderful job of keeping her site clean, comfortable and is a great host.

My family and I had a great time at the Pine Haven bell tent. It was beautiful and comfortable. Kids loved the hammock :) Betsy was a friendly and accommodating host. I would highly recommend Green Mt Glamping :)

Great location to the Burke Mt Bike trails. Spacious and clean tent with some basic cooking utensils for use as well. Our family had a great weekend!

We really loved this spot. Super comfortable beds. Well equipped cooking set-up. Clean and well taken care of. Betsey is super friendly. My son loved the pump track on site. It was a delight to stay here and we will most definitely be back!!

We loved staying at Green Mountain Glamping over the Fourth of July weekend! It was a peaceful spot with only three other campsites, and each site was spaced far enough apart to provide plenty of privacy—unlike many campgrounds. We really enjoyed the location and the easy access to the Kingdom Trails. The campsite is about 3/4 mile from the Harp and Coronary trails, and we were able to ride straight from camp both days. Betsey was a wonderful host and was always available to answer any questions we had. Her thoughtful touches, like fresh flowers and picnic table covers, made the site feel especially welcoming and homey. The port-a-potties and shower were just a short walk from our site. The shower was a welcome treat after a day on the trails. Just a heads-up, the showers don't have hot water because they're part of a self-contained system without plumbing. Also, cell service is limited at the campsite. Teen Mobile limited, Verizon almost never. Great, if you are looking to completely unplug. Overall, we would definitely stay here again!

Good points : We enjoyed our stay. The tent was spacious and comfortable, and the bed was especially very comfortable. There was plenty of room inside the tent. The mountain bike trails were easy to access and conveniently located. Areas for improvement: The price was too high considering the facilities provided. There was no designated place to wash dishes. We had to walk to the hosts’ house to get water and fill our dish tub, as there was no sink available for dishwashing. Only two small garbage bags were provided for our stay. There were no sharp kitchen knives for cooking, no dish towel for drying dishes, and no paper towels. The toilets were portable chemical toilets, with only two available for all guests. They were not cleaned during our stay. In addition, our campsite was not serviced or restocked at any point during our four-day stay. There was also no Wi-Fi available. The location was nice, but there were very few trees, so there was very little privacy. There was only one shower for all the campers, and it used a rechargeable water pump, which was not very practical. The shower water was also really cold. Overall, we had a good stay, but we felt the price was much too high for what was offered. The hosts were very kind, welcoming, and friendly.

Nice flat, private space with mix of sun and shade. Other sites are spread out and not visible from this site. Clean restrooms! Excellent location for riding trails, and close to East Burke amenities and swimming spots.

Great nature escape!

5 stars Stayed July 3–5 (3 nights) and had a great weekend. The location is perfect if you’re here for Kingdom Trails — super convenient without feeling crowded. The site was quiet and peaceful, exactly what we wanted. We loved waking up to the birds and just being surrounded by nature. It felt like a true escape. One of the nicest parts was how friendly everyone else staying there was. People were respectful, said hi, and kept the vibe relaxed and welcoming. We’d definitely stay again. Great spot for a low-key, nature-focused trip near the trails.

We stayed at the Pine Haven Bell tent site for 4 nights and our group of 2 adults and 2 kids really enjoyed the glamping-ease. Beds and bedding were excellent. The tent was a great space and comfortable in all but the hottest temps (and stayed wonderfully dry through rain events) and cooled down pretty well at night. Well appointed, clean cooking supplies served us perfectly as we made many of our meals on site. The common spaces of the camping zone are pleasant and good for a variety of activities and suitable for kids. Not too many other sites on property and they are well-spaced. Clean restrooms!

Enjoyable Overnight

Betsey sent detailed directions to ensure we arrived without incident. The campsite was ready with a well-appointed picnic table (lovely covering, umbrella up, colorful potted plant). The port-a-potty was spotless and large. We appreciated the Adirondack chairs for hanging out in. It was quiet and dark for a great night’s sleep.

We loved staying at Betsey's property. She is so friendly and hospitable. The tent is beautiful and spacious. Betsey thought of all the small details to make the stay comfortable for guests. It rained a lot when we were there but her tent stayed dry. Highly recommend!

This is my second time staying at Green Mountain Glamping; I stayed there last year and enjoyed it so much I wanted to come back! I've come both times for a personal retreat, and it is a great location for that: safe, beautiful accommodations, close to biking, hiking, swimming, friendly hosts. I highly recommend!

We really enjoyed Betsey's campsite. She was very clear in communication leading up to our stay and very welcoming. Everything was very well kept and made our stay very easy and pleasant. During our time in late May, we are birdwatchers, we saw or heard Magnolia, Pine, Yellow Rumped, Chestnut Sided, Nashville, and Blackburnian warblers, and also Veery, Hermit Thrush, and a Winter Wren from our campsite. Very beautiful setting in Vermont!

Very nice quiet site that’s close to the MTB trails. Host came out to greet us. Water and porta potty available. Looking forward to staying again. We stayed in our van but the glamping sites looked great too

Great space!

Betsey provided an extremely well equipped and convenient location for our trip to ride Kingdom trails. The space was clean and cozy, and Betsey was extremely accommodating. The outdoor shower and bathroom were a huge plus, and so were the eggs from their chickens! We would absolutely recommend staying here, and we can’t wait to come back!

Another incredible stay at Green Mountain Glamping! We are repeat guests for a reason. Betsey is a fantastic host, and the Forest Edge site provides the perfect peaceful setup. You honestly cannot beat having direct access to the Kingdom Trails right off the property for a long day of riding. Highly recommend & will absolutely be back next season!
