Gardens + Privacy + Art Studio!
Staying at Sandy's farm was definitely one of the best camping experiences of my life! Best part: on-site art studio space available WITH a pottery studio and opportunity to take lessons from an incredible teacher!
This stay just blew me away from the grounds that are lush and filled with sprawling gardens (complete with happy bees, hummingbirds, and butterflies - yes Monarchs!), to the secluded camping spot with electricity. I could go most days without seeing anyone if I didn't want to, and Sandy was always around and communicated well. There are a few nearby places to swim, the closest one feels like a private pond that I had entirely to myself one of the times I went there. When it comes to Sandy, she is a delightful human! Kind, compassionate, wildly creative, wise, boundaried, full of spirit, and connective. I fully enjoyed my time here, I felt right at home. The wifi was localized but convenient, it gave me a nice balance of being able to check messages but not be glued to my phone. Even the outhouse was better than I expected. I'm already planning my next trip back and hope to make it a yearly resting/rejuvenating spot.

The hardest part about being on Sandy's farm was deciding which campsite to stay in. Each one was unique, offering varying degrees of share and privacy. Sandy was welcoming and helped me to get settled into my site. The gardens were magical and the whole property was wonderful for exploring. I went out for a solo weekend to reconnect, and hope to be able to do so again one day soon.

3 Nights of pure relaxation
Sandy's land is amazing! We originally booked two nights, but after a few hours there, we added a third night! Although, it's a great spot to set up camp and explore Vermont, I highly recommend to not only camp there but immerse yourself into the actual experience of everything she offers. We went for my fiances birthday and brought our 6 year old daughter with us. While there my fiance got a massage (HIGHLY recommended), we all took a pottery class too. I didnt know what to expect but even the class was amazing, learned so much and even got to meditate a little too! We camped in a tent where the cabin is and it provided us privacy, but still close to the other amenities. Sandys entire space feels welcoming from the moment you get there. Her doors to the Pottery Studio, the barn with games and every other space is always open. Feel like getting crafty at 1am? The space is there! And the quiche! OMG! If you can, order it! Sandy lives on a HUGE long piece of land. When you get there you have so many options of where to camp and trust me, theres something for everyone! Please read her details, everything is exactly as it is written! What was not in there was the unexpected hospitality and amazing soul that embodies Sandy. We originally chose that spot as a close option to where we wanted to travel to, but ended up spending the first two days enjoying her land, immersing ourself into energy that is felt throughout and truly relaxing. P.s. the stars are GORGEOUS!

Medicine for the heart and spirit
Sandy and her land is pure medicine to the heart and spirit. I took a solo trip to escape the Brooklyn heat and catch my breath. I was met with hospitality and care beyond my greatest expectations. Sandy puts so much love and detail into her space and care for her guest. The sauna was a treat, the massage was wonderful, delicious quiche made, delicious fresh eggs for sale, access to a spring fed pond, barefoot walks through her medicinal gardens, honestly it was such a gift and I plan to return whenever I can. I intended to camp but had some unexpected rain so for a small additional fee I was able to rent her cute private cabin in the trees. Sandy and her land are such rare gems and you’d be silly to pass up experiencing what she has to offer. Thank you Sandy, I can’t wait to return for a winter getaway!

Amazing Hospitality
My boyfriend and I loved her property. Everything is absolutely stunning. The gardens were outstanding, the quartz fire pit, the pottery studio, and all the other little spaces. My boyfriend and I did not do any of the classes but we definitely be coming back another time for those. It is in a peaceful place and just true beauty. Not only that but Sandy was very respectful of our privacy and was very accommodating. She also came down both days to check in with us. Also her handmade art is absolutely gorgeous and good prices!!!

Sandy’s healing art camp retreat
Sandy and her land are totally magical! The spiral gardens, hoop house, fire pits, pottery studio and simply the location in itself make for a healing retreat never to be forgotten. 11/10 would (and will!) book again.

Sandy was such a gracious host. She showed us around the property and made sure we have what we need. Highly recommend the wood fire sauna. You get to control the temp and I ended up doing some hot yoga in there - so relaxing!

Beautiful property just not what I
After reading all the fantastic reviews I was really excited about this particular place.
When we arrived we were given our choice of locations to set up that after being told that technically we couldn't have two vehicles on one side according to Vermont law which I found odd.
Originally I was going to stay in the cabin but there were way too many gaps in the doors and I was concerned about critters getting in so I decided to stay in the same spot as the other person with me which was then fine.
The ad itself says dogs are welcome as long as they're leashed.... When we arrived we really did not feel like dogs were welcome at all.
The compost toilet is not really even a compost toilet and we were told that we should use the bathroom anywhere on the property as long as we picked up after ourselves.
The ad does not state no smoking. I do respect that many people do not like smoking and had it said that I may or may not have chosen to stay there but nowhere in the ad did it say that I was not allowed to smoke. However I was asked to drive up the road and smoke away from the property due to the bad energy from cigarette smoke.... If it was anything else I was welcome to smoke it on property.
When we first arrived I felt that I was at a beautiful property and my soul felt welcome but within half a day we really were not feeling welcome there. However we had already paid for it and I did take advantage of being able to make some of my jewelry with my supplies in the pottery room which was nice to use. My friend however, having a dog, chose to pretty much stay at the campsite most of the time.
I'm sure this is a wonderful place for many people and maybe we just caught the host on an off weekend? I was just really disappointed overall because I was looking so very forward to enjoying some of the offers that were available.
I am grateful that I had a chance to make some jewelry that was a bonus and the view from the campsite at the top of the hill was lovely.

Relaxing retreat
What an amazing place to spend the day! Sandy has massages available and I have never felt to relaxed after! She also gave our 4 year old a pottery class (not to mention how patient she was) I would absolutely return here, and highly recommend anyone to try this amazing relaxing retreat!

Lovely oasis
Sandy has created a beautiful oasis and was such a lovely host. She took us on a tour of her farm and had some helpers for our fire and several spots to choose our site. Electric water heater for tea in the morning was provided. We were able to see her gorgeous pottery studio and eat some tomatoes in the greenhouse. Looking forward to coming back!

Interesting
Sandys location was very relaxing and every corner had something beautiful to see.
My wife and I chose the highest location and most remote and we loved the view and location.
Great morning views and night shots of the moon!
It was a very interesting location and events and scenery, but for the most part my wife and I were able to enjoy ourselves.
