We are open and above the floodwaters! Easily accessible from Rt 89 and Rt 4. Our Pick Your Own Blueberry fields open in July. Clay Hill Corners is a 10 acre working Blueberry Farm. We have PYO Blueberries and a farm stand open from mid July to August. We sell organically grown blueberries and produce locally. Learn more about this land: Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and faces the forest. The Sugar Shack sleeps two in a comfy double bed with clean sheets and a fleece blanket. I wash the linens and blanket in hot water for each and every booking. Please bring your own extra blankets or sleeping bag if the weather is cold. An additional clean quilt with duvet cover can be added for a $ 10 per booking fee. There is a small porch, a charcoal grill, four chairs, a hammock, a fire ring, fire wood, clean potable cold water, a solar shower, and an outhouse. We provide the firewood for the fire ring and we provide charcoal and lighter fluid for the charcoal grill. There is space available next to Sugar Shack in the field for additional tents or small RVs. (There is no electricity.) The upcharge for additional campers after the first two people is $5 per person per night. Hiking trails through field and forest start at your door. We have a 3 mile round trip hike to Harlow Brook with a map. We are on the edge of a wildlife corridor and often see deer, coyotes, fox, waterfowl, songbirds and the occasional bear. (Keep food in your car at night so that the bear does not eat it!) We are above the Ottauquechee River at North Hartland Lake. We have rentable canoes and a kayak. We can transport you to and pick you up for a canoe trip on the Connecticut River or to North Hartland Lake.. We are located two miles from Quechee, 7 miles from historic Woodstock to the west, and 7 miles to hip White River Junction to the east and 8 1/2 miles to Dartmouth College and the Appalachian Trail. There are fun casual restaurants with some sit down and take-out nearby and our local Jakes Market can provide you with a nice selection of groceries. Hot Air Balloon pilots often take off and land in our fields and it is always a magical site. We can connect you with local pilots if you wish to purchase a Balloon Adventure. Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and facing the forest. The Sugar Shack and Farm Campsite
A good camping experience
Carol and Marty made our experience truly memorable. We had a good time at their Hip camp. Right from when we spoke to Carol before going to the site, she was very patient with us and answered all our questions over the phone. Special thanks to Marty. He had boundless energy and enthusiasm in taking us on the trail and guiding us. His knowledge of the area and passion for nature made the experience unforgettable. We truly appreciate his effort for ensuring that we had a fantastic and safe adventure. Our kids loved playing with their friendly dogs, Ella and Bluey. We look forward to visiting again and will definitely recommend this site to others.

The Sugar Shack and Farm Campsite
Welcoming hosts and wonderful site! The sugar shack is very clean and comfortable, the blueberry bushes are a nice bonus if you want to pick blueberries on your visit, and there is an incredible and basically private swimming hole about a mile away. The site is in a beautiful part of VT as well. We loved our stay!

Camping & Hot Air Balloons!
My family and I had a fantastic trip! We headed up to camp for the weekend for the Quechee Balloon Festival and had hot air-ballons land right outside of our tent! Marty and Carol were very accommodating and provided us with the local swimming spots and trail maps for hiking. Marty is a phenomenal host and is happy to share his wealth of local knowledge of the Quechee/Hartland area. The space is very private, wide-open and quiet. We look forward to booking again here (maybe for blueberry season!).

I loved camping the sugar shack here, Carol and Marty were friendly and helpful. Scenery was beautiful here and was awesome that fire supplies were available. Would stay here again if ever in the area.
