We are open and above the floodwaters! Easily accessible from Rt 89 and Rt 4. Our Pick Your Own Blueberry fields open in July. Clay Hill Corners is a 10 acre working Blueberry Farm. We have PYO Blueberries and a farm stand open from mid July to August. We sell organically grown blueberries and produce locally. Learn more about this land: Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and faces the forest. The Sugar Shack sleeps two in a comfy double bed with clean sheets and a fleece blanket. I wash the linens and blanket in hot water for each and every booking. Please bring your own extra blankets or sleeping bag if the weather is cold. An additional clean quilt with duvet cover can be added for a $ 10 per booking fee. There is a small porch, a charcoal grill, four chairs, a hammock, a fire ring, fire wood, clean potable cold water, a solar shower, and an outhouse. We provide the firewood for the fire ring and we provide charcoal and lighter fluid for the charcoal grill. There is space available next to Sugar Shack in the field for additional tents or small RVs. (There is no electricity.) The upcharge for additional campers after the first two people is $5 per person per night. Hiking trails through field and forest start at your door. We have a 3 mile round trip hike to Harlow Brook with a map. We are on the edge of a wildlife corridor and often see deer, coyotes, fox, waterfowl, songbirds and the occasional bear. (Keep food in your car at night so that the bear does not eat it!) We are above the Ottauquechee River at North Hartland Lake. We have rentable canoes and a kayak. We can transport you to and pick you up for a canoe trip on the Connecticut River or to North Hartland Lake.. We are located two miles from Quechee, 7 miles from historic Woodstock to the west, and 7 miles to hip White River Junction to the east and 8 1/2 miles to Dartmouth College and the Appalachian Trail. There are fun casual restaurants with some sit down and take-out nearby and our local Jakes Market can provide you with a nice selection of groceries. Hot Air Balloon pilots often take off and land in our fields and it is always a magical site. We can connect you with local pilots if you wish to purchase a Balloon Adventure. Our private Sugar Shack is at the end of our blueberry fields and facing the forest. Everything and More
Carol and Marty’s site was everything we expected and more. The farm it’s on is beautiful, complete with its own couple of private trails. Carol and Marty were quick to communicate with us, and we were greeted by Marty when we arrived. It was pretty cold when we went (early fall) but there were plenty of layers provided for us on the bed inside the shack to make us warm. I’d rebook with them in a heartbeat.

Best Last Resort
My Dog and I stayed at the Sugar Shack this weekend and was quite peaceful and quiet. There’s a large flat field space surrounding the cabin, fire pit, outhouse, and woodshed. It was easy to get to and out of with my truck. The extras of running water for washing up as well as the solar lights inside and out of the cabin made this all very easy to fall in love with, let alone the blueberry bushes only a stone throw away. It was awesome staying at these very polite folks’ property and I’d do it again in a heartbeat.

Very sweet spot.
Carol and Marty's land is so beautiful! The sugar shack was cozy and there was a fire pit with firewood all ready for me, and beautiful flowers everywhere. I was quiet and peaceful and they were very kind. I would definitely come back and stay again. Thanks so much!

Staying at the sugar shack on the blueberry farm was lovely! We even saw a hot air balloon as we arrived. Marty was a great communicator and we really enjoyed learning about his property and even snacked on some blueberries!
