So peaceful
Amazing stay - we came at the last week of October for one night and we’re the only ones in the area! Was a bit spooky welcome by Cheryle about bears in the orchard and coyotes (we’ve heard one right outside of our cabin) but rather than that it was absolutely stunning! Brand new wooden cabin, everting you need in the area like community covered kitchen, fire pit and outhouse. A few trails around as well

I'm in love with that place!
It was a real little paradise. The place was beautiful, the cabin too. The horses were adorable. The only downside was the biting humidity in the cabin, but that's part of fall, otherwise everything was perfect. Cheryle's and her husband were sweet and caring for the wellbeing of every guest on their land. They were very welcoming host. I will definitely come back!

This is a beautiful campsite! The horses are so sweet. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. Our battery died when we were trying to leave, and they let us use their truck to get a jump. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Cabin in with Mtn views
We loved this camp ground! Our cabin was clean and comfortable. The farm land and surrounding forest was beautiful. The kitchen area was covered and clean. Would highly recommend this place to stay to anyone. The only thing that’d make this better would be a wash sink area for dishes. Definitely not necessary but just a nice thing to have available to folks. Beautiful view of Burke!

The cabin was great after a couple of days tent camping. Facilities were awesome, close to Willoughby, and super nice host. Exactly what me and my mini dachshund wanted!

Excellent rustic camping
Cheryle was so warm and welcoming. The farm is charming. The camp ground was clean, cabins look brand new! Large communal spot to eat where she has more than indicated in terms of cooking items (propane stove, oven and grill) plus 2 options to cook over open fire. 2 outhouses I found to be very clean and smell fine. 10 min from lake and hiking, 15 from large grocery store Ive already recommended to others and will be back!!

Loved it !
We stayed for a quick night and it was the best place I have stayed in Vermont! It was a cute little cabin with all the basic needs! Surrounded by horses, mountains and green! Cheryle was absolutely lovely I wish we spent more time so we could chat! It is also the perfect distance from all the things in that area, 15 to lake Willoughby which was super awesome! 10/10 book a trip here !

Cute cute cute!
We truly enjoyed the stay! The view of Burke mountain and Cheryle’s hay field were such a pleasant bonuses. Cheryle was great to respond questions and recommended places around in town. She also came down to say hello and check with us in person. She has beautiful smile! Even though we are local, we love to explore and stay different part of Vermont. Cheryle’s place was perfect to be away from big crowds and close to Kingdom trails where we are passionate to bike. Great a weekend get away!

Great small farmstead campground with three forested spacious sites with free firewood, picnic tables, non potable water, large fully functional covered community dining pavilion, included propane griddle, and a double boiler,oven/stove top burner Coleman fuel bottles provided. The three cabins are clean and local milled wood built with porch. The setting is off the clover horse meadow, pine tree covered, with trails. Clean well kept pit vault outhouse. Sherry was very gracious and allowed us to use one of the available cabins for one night to avoid tent set up after a full day of heavy rains. Close by to the Kingdom Trails and lake Willoughby. A hidden gem in the Kingdom!!

Excellent family spot!
Cheri had the most beautiful spot of land that was perfect for our gang of campers. We were 3 moms and kids ranging from 7-12. The little cottage cabins were a space to calm down and sleep but the out door space was perfect for romping and exploration. There is an outdoor kitchen and common area-- perfect for evening gathering. But we spent most night gathered around the amazing fire pit! The animals are friendly and Cheri was AMAZING!! Always there and gave us fantastic camping advice for Maine. + Free wifi and fire wood!!

Love it here
Always a lovely experience! Never stayed in this site before it’s amazingly soft and mossy. We have a 2006 full size pick up with an 8 foot bed. This is most likely the largest vehicle that could make the turn in and out of this site be warned!

Perfect for two, not for four.
Perfect site for the family. We were treated to some stunning scenery as the horses galloped into the sunset. Kids were really impressed by the bellowing sheep. Once night falls, the millions of stars that light up the sky made out this moment magical. We were able to use the kitchen pavilion including a gas oven for cooking. The host also allowed us to use the electrical outlet in the barn as a charging station for cell phones. We took advantage of the Kingdom Trail showers at the end of the ride. Everything was perfect for a stay in Burk area at a lower cost. Cons : We had booked for the family: 2 adults + 2 children. Arrived on site, we noticed that the beds in place were foldable camp beds. The hammock effect did not allow 2 people to sleep well in the same bed. I should have booked 2 cabins.

Sweet cabins on a farm
Loved the Burke Line campground! The place is super charming and very private. It’s sweet to camp among the horses and sheeps + other wild animals like birds and deers. And Cheryle gave us many great recommendations for activities near the campground.

Fields and Solitude
Cheryle was extremely welcoming and friendly. She greeted us upon our arrival, and told us to make ourselves at home. The fields and animals make for a great experience in the Northeast Kingdom, and the complimentary firewood was the cherry on top. Tent site 1 is very secluded, and perfect for our truck and rooftop tent. You are far away from the road and other campers, which made it the quietest HipCamp site I've ever stayed at. Easy access with no 4WD required to access the site.
