I can’t say enough good things about our experience from beginning to end. Carol is a kind, friendly, and helpful host, and communication was always very clear. The breakfast basket was wonderful, the facilities were excellent, and we had a wonderful night in our teardrop! We’d absolutely stay here again.

The Bus- A Unique Stay

I really enjoyed staying on the bus—it was such a unique experience! I was grateful it was available for a last-minute booking that same night. Carol’s communication and responsiveness were excellent, making check-in smooth even with my late-night arrival. The bus itself was cozy and charming, set right on the farm with a clean outhouse just steps away, equipped with a motion light for nighttime use. Inside, the space was thoughtfully arranged with a small table, chairs, two sofa beds, and foldable mattresses. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and each window had blinds to block out light. It was a cold night, but I came prepared with sleeping bags, extra blankets, and heating pads. Carol also offers a space heater as an add-on, which I’d recommend during cooler seasons! A pleasant surprise was the power bar which was so useful for charging my devices and the bus also had reliable Wi-Fi! I only stayed one night but wish I’d had more time to explore the farm, there were adorable animals on my way out! I also wish I’d tried the breakfast add-ons as they looked delicious. Overall, it was a memorable stay that I’d definitely recommend. I got to tell all my friends that I slept on a bus and had a great story to tell! Thanks Carol :)

Soulful Birthday Getaway

I had a wonderful two night stay on The Bus. My friend joined me the first night, but had to get back to work, so my second night was solo. We both found the accommodation funky and comfortable. As a farm girl, myself, I always love to be around piglets, chickens, dogs, cows… Carol was a very warm, gracious hostess, eager to share her insights on local attractions. Her breakfasts and cheese plate displayed impressive attention to detail, using superb local ingredients and so artfully arranged, include cloth napkins tucked into baskets. I hope I am able to return next year, and have already recommended her place and the area to friends looking for a satisfying roaming destination.

The short bus was super cozy and we were warm with just sheets and a couple blankets we brought, no heater, on a night it probably got down into the low 40’s. The farm animals were a delight and we got to meet the piglets with Carol. Also love the running water/sink right outside the bus. Great spot!

The bus was the best!! Love it!

Carol was a fantastic host! She could do enough for us. And the farm is adorable! We stayed in the bus and it was funky and fun. We were able to rent a heater to keep us warm when the temp dropped to 30! Highly recommend!

Great stay. Carol was a hospitable host and offered some great tips on activities to do in the area. The campsite was flat for a tent and had a fire ring and picnic table, which was great. Location was perfect - close to a ton of NEK activities & hiking.

Our stay at Carol’s land was even better than we expected! The bus is comfortable for 2 and the fire pit made for a relaxing evening. The farm is beautiful and we got to meet some six-day-old piglets. The welcome board should not be skipped, and we got to learn more about local cheeses and produce from it. Top it off with breakfast sandwiches with farm-fresh eggs and a fresh pot of coffee with their milk and you’ve got a truly unbeatable experience. We will be recommending it to many others!

Slice of heaven

This spot is an absolute slice of heaven. Options of the lower pasture tent site (with a good amount of privacy but set back a bit from the view), a car camp site with great view close to bathroom and farm animals, or a Camper bus to rent with a fire pit, chairs and picnic table overlooking one of the most spectacular views I’ve seen in quite some time. The add on firewood was a hefty amount of wood for the price . . The breakfast? GETTT the breakfast! Carol was so lovely! The farm animals were so fun to watch mosey around. Cannot wait to go back. <3

Carol and her farm was an absolute delight to stay at! The bus was unique, cozy, and comfortable. It was so relaxing watching her sweet animals, bird watching and taking in the view. Don’t skip her breakfast option, it was delicious! Definitely recommend staying at this beautiful farm. P.S don’t go to bed early, the stargazing will blow your mind!!

Carol was welcoming and flexible to our plans. She offered add-ons that we had previously declined and we happily accepted hot showers and breakfast for an additional fee. The site was quiet so long as farm sounds count as quiet. Cows, ducks, pigs, goats, etc. it was great.

Had a great time! We were able to see the baby cow and all the other animals on the farm. We were really happy about all of the quality food in the farm stand also. Carrol was responsive and attentive during our stay. Would recommend.

The bus was great! Having the farm stand close by made life easier. We were so lucky that the momma cow just had her baby so we got to see her running and playing through the grass which was adorable. Would definitely recommend!

Great tent site with a flat area for tent, fire pit, parking next to tent, and a really nice sunset view. Host, outhouse, shower, and farm animals were all great. Highly recommend.
