My husband and I loved being able to stay at The Dome with our pups for a night. The river is absolutely beautiful, we went in the swimming home as well as the falls. The property is private, well taken care of and soooo peaceful! The Dome took out breaths away. We knew it was still a work in progress but we absolutely loved it. We’ll be back here in no time! Thank you for having us.

The Dome was awesome. We had a amazing time, are host were great they where very accommodating great people all around. The property was fantastic with swimming holes that are beautiful , super crystal clear water nice open space definitely going back

This is a beautiful spot! The swimming hole was refreshing and gorgeous. Listing information is honest and accurate. A little buggy this time of year but Bow provides bug repellent torches to light - and between that and having a fire going early we fared well. I highly recommend!

Nice spot on a beautiful stream. Very close to the White River and short drive to Killington. The outhouse was probably the nicest one I've ever experienced!

This place is gorgeous, relaxing, and accommodating. It is great for adults alone or families with kids. The Dome is AWESOME, the river with the swimming hole is just the icing on the cake. The hosts, Bow and Lori, are very welcoming and inviting. I highly recommend any of these 3 sites to anyone and I will definitely be coming back with my family!

Apple Tree
Bow has a beautiful piece of property with a great natural swimming hole. Unfortunately more than half of our trip came with rain, enough rain to show how powerful mother nature can be, with the water in brook rising quickly, though we were never at risk of any danger. We camped at Apple Tree, the site was very spacious with plenty of room to setup camp and more. The other campsite was within viewing distance and the only access at the moment to the swimming hole is kinda through the Apple Tree campsite, but there wasn’t much swimming going on this weekend. Bow was quick to reapond with any question or concerns and also has firewood for sale that is way cheaper and better than the bags at the gas stations. All in all great site, great host with a beautiful piece of heaven. We will definitely be back in the warmer months to enjoy the natural swimming hole.

We loved this space..river was nice and clear the swimming whole was refreshing..quiet and out of the way we definitely stay again. The host we're understanding (as we were late) and very nice .#enjoyable experience .

This was the perfect campsite!! Completely worth the extra $ that we spent on Hipcamp instead of doing a state park, whose campsites have no privacy. Lori greeted us on arrival and was so kind and laid back. After we arrived, the hosts left the property to give us privacy which was really nice. The property is situated in a remote valley with truly no cell service - which we loved - and about a 30 minute drive to Killington and 15 to Pittsfield, so plenty of hiking and things to do around the area. The swimming hole / creek was perfect, clean, and it was all just so scenic and relaxing. The property is well marked and easy to find, and the land is so, so beautiful. Lori and Bow are creating such a cool, special experience! We would love to come back and see the finished dome and school bus tiny-house!

I recently spent 3 nights at apple tree and couldn’t be happier! The site was clean, the outhouse was clean and beautifully made, and falling asleep to the sound of the creek was dreamy. And although this property is close to the road, there were hardly any cars driving by, maybe 1 an hour during the day and none that I heard at night. The brook is beautiful! We actually walked down it quite a ways, and from what we saw, Bow has some of nicest section of river, with great swimming holes. Speaking of the owner, he and his wife are both very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed and let us know what is in the area for activities and supplies. Unfortunately, they don’t supply firewood, but we were able scavenge plenty, just be prepared to do some cutting. I was able to check out the other site, the falls, and it too looks great, however, I think apple tree has a bit more privacy and access to the water is easier. Verizon was non existent, but it was nice to truly unplug for a few days. All in all, a fantastic camp site and would go back in a heartbeat!

I loved this lot! Bow was super friendly upon arrival and super helpful in explaining everything I would need. I camped on a Wednesday at The Falls and had the whole site to myself. There is a dirt road in view with a few cars driving by every so often but it was more often quiet. The river was beautiful and calming and the fire pit, picnic table, and hammock setup up were great. Really recommend this spot for anyone trying to camp in the area.

Peaceful, solitude, beautiful fast flowing creek next to site. Swimming hole is amazing. Easy to find using pin. Would come back here in a minute. Close to Killington, Woodstock, and other beautiful places. our house is brand new. The rocks in the creek are beautiful and one of a kind.

We loved our long weekend at the Falls along Stony Brook. We were actually able to spend nights at both sites on the property. The swimming holes at each site were amazing. Our daughter loved being able to swim/splash in the brook all day.
Bow was an excellent host who made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful spot! Was wonderful to fall asleep to the sounds of the river every night. How was very welcoming and even gathered some fallen trees for us to have as firewood. Would definitely come back and can’t wait to see what they add with the geodome!

I can't say enough about how much my wife and I appreciated everything about this site. We needed a quick place to camp on our drive through VT and ended up having the perfect evening thanks to Bow.
The brook behind the falls is beautiful for a dip, the firepit was stocked with dry wood, and the outhouse onsite was very thoughtfully put together. Additionally, the location is really close to some great mountain biking, hiking, and food.
Hoping to go back for a longer visit this fall. Thanks Bow!

This hipcamp was magical! I love camping near brooks, streams, and rivers. This site can hang with the best of them! The swimming hold was peaceful and beautiful. The site is spacious, clean, and cozy. I would definitely camp out here again. Thank you!

We loved tent camping here! The river was amazing and so crisp and refreshing. And falling asleep to the sound of the river was magical. Bow was communicative with how to get there and clear on what to expect. We will definitely consider camping here again in the future.

We loved Apple Tree and highly recommend it as a super spot to camp! The site is well-situated far away from the others, which gives a sense of privacy and being able to do your own thing. The spacious site offered a couple of good possibilities for pitching our tent, as well as a great spot to hang up our hammock. We enjoyed gazing at and listening to the soothing sounds of the beautiful brook, having a campfire in the large firepit (with free scrap wood from the hosts), and living it up in the swimming hole near the site. With plenty of open sky, I bet this would be a great place to see the stars (unfortunately we had a cloudy night, so couldn't see for ourselves).
Thanks to Lori and Bow, who were kind and helpful hosts--and who are working to create a cool camping destination. I'm so glad that we got to camp in this beautiful spot that they've offered.

This was a lovely site with plenty of space. The flowing creek down the embankment provided an amazing soundtrack to sleep to. The other campsite is maybe 300 feet away, providing enough room to feel isolated. Make sure to closely follow Bow's directions in the welcome message you will recieve to ensure arrival without confusion.

“The Falls” and “Apple Tree” tent sites are along the brook which has a few swimming holes of varying sizes. If you set up your tent along the brook, you’ll get morning sun and afternoon/evening shade. This place, even though right next to a dirt road, is quiet. Sites have a picnic table, a fire pit with a water bucket for putting out the fire, and two torches. “The Falls” also has a hammock. There is an outhouse with toilet paper provided by the hosts. We brought our dog and we all had a great time in the water. Bring water shoes or sandals as some rocks may be slippery.
