The views were so gorgeous, and it was a super easy drive up into the campsite with clear directions. Our host was absolutely wonderful and accommodating (she didn’t even get mad when our car alarm went off at 7 am), and the campsite felt super private even though we could see the house! There was a fire pit and firewood for us to use which was awesome!!

I had a wonderful weekend stay. Stunning views, private, a large area with options for shade and sun. The stars and sunrises were the best!! I hope to return some time.

Absolutely obsessed with this spot! So much so I'd like to keep it a secret! But alas I know magic like this must be shared. Made a last minute reservation and Meadow was very accommodating! Sunsets were magic. Stopped by the farm stand in the morning which was lovely! No bathroom on site so plan ahead. I went to a gas station right before posting up for the night.

We had a very pleasant evening on Meadows land. Our high top, rear wheel drive Sprinter van had no problem making it to our spot. It was very quiet, and not at all buggy. The spot (#1) was very private and isolated, which was exactly what we wanted. The fire pit and chairs/ table have seen better days but were perfectly functional. We brought our own kindling table and chairs. The view was beautiful and the whole vibe was very quiet and peaceful. Took a couple of walks around the property. It you are looking for a quiet place to get away from it all with beautiful views, this is your place!

The view is great and the campsite is spacious and very private. Pack some high boots and tick spray for the tall grass in the field where you put your tent, and bring your own garden trowel for the bathroom (as the large square shovel provided doesn’t work well for digging holes in the woods). A great spot for experienced campers!

This is a beautiful place to camp. Amazing autumn vie to wake up to, and incredible starry skies. I wish I had more time to spend enjoying the lad, but I was out hiking for most of my visit. I didn't meet the hosts, but they were very responsive to messages. (I had no cell reception (Verizon) at the location, which was wonderful for disconnecting!)

Mountain Meadow "site 2"
The best part of the stay was the view. Not for the individual though who is worried about being off the beaten path. Very secluded. Went with my 12 year old son who had to be talked down a few times, but hey, that was kind of the point of staying there. If you want a no muss, no fuss beautiful experience and you can handle the seclusion and run self sustaining, this is a great option for you.

We had a lovely stay here. Meadow was super responsive to all my questions before we booked. The site was private and beautiful. So much easier and nicer to camp here than at a public campground where I have to worry about our dog and toddler bothering everyone. The area is also gorgeous and we had an amazing day visiting Pawlet, Dorset etc. Just beautiful.

Meadow’s camp spot (Site 2) was wonderful! I had a quiet spot with beautiful mountain views, front row seats for moonrise and sunrise. Meadow and her family were friendly, warm, and helpful. I will definitely recommend to friends and stay again!

Did not find site 1 despite driving up and down the road (which was very uneven and would not be good with anything less than an SUV), so I stayed at site 2. Never saw the host, site was viewable from farm road so a few trucks went by. Sleeping was difficult with a kid (baby goat) screaming throughout the night and roosters crowing long before sunrise.

This was a lovely place to escape civilization for a couple of days! Meadow was very good about touching base with us prior to our arrival to clarify the campsites (and let us choose our site as both were empty). Both sites are nice. Site 2 is up on the hill and closer to the animals, site 3 is further in the woods and a little bit more primitive/wild. We opted for site 3 because we had dogs and did not want to worry about them bothering the goats. Only thing I would mention is that there are a few strands of old barbed wire tangled on the ground in the woods on the outskirts of the campsite so I had to really watch where I stepped when I took the dogs for bathroom breaks. Otherwise we found the site to be lovely and exactly what we were looking for! The views are lovely from both sites. Site 2 gets morning sun, site 3 gets nice evening sunsets.

Meadow's spot was literally perfect for our labor day getaway! He was quick to communicate on some questions prior to our arrival, directions in the app took us right to our spot and there was good signage on the roads.
We arrived at our campsite to find delicious fresh tomatoes, 2 adorable goats (who were totally quiet and not a disturbance), and a gorgeous view of the mountains.
Stars were extremely visible at night, and we got to witness both the full moon and sun rise over the mountain line.
10/10 if we're ever in the area we'll definitelu come back here.

This is a very nice place to stay. Keep in mind the farm is quite large are you may not see the animals. I didn't.
The site was really nice and the view was amazing. Tmobile doesn't have service there.

Site #2: Wake up to the cute mooing of cows. Great fire pit. Flat even ground on the grass for tent. Love the table and chairs that made it easy to play games by the fire. Tons of firewood around to collect in the woods. Great instructions from the host.

This campsite is wonderful. The cows grazing by were the cherry on top. The farm has a farm stand down the road with fresh produce as well. We had a fire pit and table with chairs and a very private spot. Will definitely be back again.

Meadow's land is fabulous! I love the cows grazing and meandering on by. The views are spectacular and the directions were easy to follow. We will definitely be back.
Also! They sell produce from their farm stand down the street, such a plus!
