Awesome site and property! Heather was a very kind host who made us feel very welcomed onto her farm! We purchased a wood bundle and a half dozen eggs from her and were very pleased with both! High quality wood and the eggs were delicious! The quarry was so refreshing to jump into and was the highlight of the site. There are kayaks to use on shore and a nice cliff to jump off of. If you want to hang in the water you should bring a flotation device since the whole thing is at least 45’ deep! Just one note: We stayed at the new quarry site and the site had an interesting fire pit. It is a very deep metal “cup”. Thankfully our tripod hanging cooking grate just barely fit over it so we could still use it but it is just something to be aware of. It’s pretty big so the fire is deep into the cup so its kind of tough to watch the fire unless you are standing up. The redeeming thing about it though is that it does a fantastic job of keeping the smoke out of your face! It forces the smoke straight up. Overall it was a 10/10 site and Heather has such a beautiful property! We will be back!

My husband and I loved being able to stay at The Dome with our pups for a night. The river is absolutely beautiful, we went in the swimming home as well as the falls. The property is private, well taken care of and soooo peaceful! The Dome took out breaths away. We knew it was still a work in progress but we absolutely loved it. We’ll be back here in no time! Thank you for having us.

This was our first experience, using a hip camp site and our experience was absolutely fabulous! The site was immaculately maintained, beautiful, and very relaxing. One note to future travelers, it was very helpful for us to have a rechargeable fan just to keep the pesky black flies away.

We loved how private and peaceful this campsite felt as it really felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. Sure there are other sites on the property, but they are well-spaced. So you have plenty of privacy and quiet. We visited in early July and were treated to an incredible show of fireflies each night. Heather was a wonderful host—very responsive and helpful, and she gave us great recommendations for local places. The on-site shower with hot water at the farm stand was also a bonus. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a serene, private getaway close to nature!

My group loved our stay at Heather’s farm. We originally had The Owl site reserved but Heather accommodated us with a bigger site due to our group size. The site we ended up at was wonderful with great views and so much space. The private dock was a plus! There was a lot to explore in the farm and we only scratched the surface. This was the perfect, little getaway for us. The location is good, very scenic, lots of trails, swimming and close to downtown Wilmington. The campsite was very clean, inviting and beautiful. Super dog friendly. Stephany was a very sweet and accommodating host. We would love to visit again.

I loved this tiny cabin so much! It was so calm and beautiful. Pretty private, only downside is no bathroom and a little bit of spiders in the porta potty. Beautiful river that you can see from the cabin. The host is incredible and so nice!

Very quiet with great swimming and lots of hikes right from your sites. 2 of the Brookside Sites (Wishbone Left and Right) are close by (2.7 miles) where we have another 1/2 mile of river frontage and can handle bigger groups as Conservation land on Sunrise Farm only allows 4 campers per site. Sunrise Farm Sites 1 and 2 have oodles of space and Spectacular 50 mile views of Mount Monadnock with no house lights out there in the evening except the party string lights we provide. Site 1 (with entrance 70 yards south of the farmhouse) is best for camping in with up to 20 foot trailers or multiple tents …on the large flat spaces in the 25 acre field to choose from. Great Well water available near farmhouse. Biodegradable soaps Only if used in the ponds. Double Olympic sized Swim Pond we stock with Rainbow Trout to keep clear. We have been advised Not to allow imported firewood (can import Wood Beetle dangerous for our forest). - PLEASE use the Firewood bundle tubs we provide ($12.50) - pick up at the farmhouse or pull wood from the woods (and make it safer for use). Beautiful and plenty of wildlife nearby... as well as Outhouses are marked on Map we provide with solar lights marking them at night. Do Not Leave food out when camping or away from site. Bears are rarely seen but it is wild country. Sites have locking garbage lids. Unique and lovely as well as being next to trails and roads to miles of remote spots with very few if any ... people. In Winter we request only AWD vehicles go down to this site or park up by farmhouse and hike in so you can easily get out. When wet park up by the road if you have 2 wheel drive. Always WISE to arrive When LIGHT out as we do not live at the site and are not able to show guests to their sites as a result.

Come see Lake Shaftsbury State Park! This 200 year old farm is at the top of a dead end road on 150 acres. It sits in a region of Bennington County formerly called Healing Springs Vermont. The springs that flow off of West Mountain come down through the farm and across Route 7 where they feed the picturesque state park! Best drinking water, anywhere to the left of the chimney at the white house. Arrive at our 150 acre property at the top of this dead-end road.. (Please stay left all the way up to the top...the road becomes our driveway).. Step out onto this 200-year-old farm at your own private site all of which are several acres each minimum.. Walk to streams ponds and Lake Shaftsbury State Park.

Quiet Lake George Area Campground

Granite Hill Lodge and Campground is a re-invented campground, brought back to life with the purpose of providing a place of quiet and leisure in the busy Lake George area. Only 20 minutes to Lake George beaches, downtown and outlet shopping, Granite Hill is in a great location to enjoy the beautiful Adirondacks while providing a getaway in the foothills of Fort Ann. The newly designed campground provides a small camping feel with plenty of outdoor space to bike and hike. The property is located on the Champlain Canalway Bike Trail and has an established hiking trail and a smaller walking trail to beautiful overlooks, looking over the Adirondack Mountains. The Campground has 20 sites with a mix of Tent sites, Full Hook up sites (P/W/S) and Power and Water Sites (P/W). Fern Hollow

Our property is nestled in the foothills of the Mad River Valley, close to the headwaters of the river. The property is composed of wetlands, agricultural meadows, old apple trees, and hardwood forest with 700 feet of elevation. All structures on the property are solar-powered and a rainwater system feeds the sink in the outdoor kitchen. There are a handful of individual camp sites available in the spring, summer and fall, as well as a communal outdoor kitchen with lighting, a fire pit, a stone pizza oven and a sitting/yoga deck. We also offer more of a "glamping" experience in our 14 ft yurt, which comfortably sleeps 2-3 people with wood stove heat and a solar battery for lighting. We love sharing this space with others and offering a rustic forest getaway.

Visit to our secret swimming hole located nearby...and White River access just down the road. Just up the road is the popular Silver Lake and State Park, great swimming, sunbathing, paddle boarding, kayaking or canoeing. We are close to interesting activities, such as the White River National Fish Hatchery, Billings Farm, the Queechee Balloon festival, and more. Near by farm stands sell fresh organic produce, eggs, grass fed meats, homemade food products and crafts. What is there to eat and drink? Nearby restaurants include The Barnard Inn, Cloudland, Toziers, Tessi’s Tavern, Locust Creek Diner, The Bethel Sandwich Shop, Cockadoodle and Village Pizza. Babe’s Bar in Bethel offers amazing creative cocktails in an old railway station. In the village of South Royalton 12 miles away is our local Co-op. Three miles up Route 12 is the Barnard General Store and gas station they have just about everything a camper could want. They stock ice, fresh baked goodies, fruit and vegetables, prepared foods and many locally produced delights such as ice cream, kombucha and fresh baked goods. Their meat case features, sausages, thick pork chops, fresh air chilled chicken, local grass fed beef and they always have fresh Farro Island salmon. They also offer wine, beer and ciders. A mile away on 107 is the Locust Creek General Store and gas station, they uniquely offer block ice, diesel and kerosene, drinks, simple fresh sandwiches, many frozen foods and lots of newspapers. The Slate Valley Trails pass through our property - providing direct access to 50+miles of world-class mountain biking and hiking trails. We are located mid-point in the network at a perfect jumping off point for adventure. There are also miles and miles of quiet dirt roads and abandoned forest tracks in the area, offering near endless opportunities for gravel cycling adventures. The property features perennial gardens, a pond, open meadows, forestland, and picturesque southerly views from the top of the north meadow. The tent, van and glamping sites are thoughtfully located in protected nooks in the forestland and along the forest's edge. Sweet Song Acres

Sweet Song Acres is 100+ acres of secluded forest nestled along the Little Sugar River, at the base of Perry Mountain. Located in rural Unity, NH and Charlestown, NH, just across the Vermont state line. Southernmost point, located in Charlestown is one of two campsites. The other is Shady Grove, located in Unity. The two sites, located in bordering towns share the same entrance and are connected by a 1/4 mile trail. Both are very large sites. Campers would drive to both sites down a trail so we highly recommend a vehicle with decent clearance and 4WD or AWD. Southernmost Point is a fully drive-in site. Shady Grove campers park above the site and the campsite is down a short path, just a few hundred feet or so. The property consists of varied terrain of rock ledges, lush moss, streams, and panoramic views at the summit. There are many options of local outdoor activities in the area or if you prefer, just sit and "listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock your soul".

Bridgeview Harbour Marina

Bridgeview Harbour Marina is a family owned and operated full service marina, event space, and camping area on the Adirondack shore of Lake Champlain. Established in 2020 the Marina provides seasonal and overnight slips and moorings to boaters, fisherman, and lake-goers, three camp sites, and an on-site cafe. Marina services are available May thru October each year, with other events and services available throughout the year. The marina is set on 33 acres along Lake Champlain and hosts ~4150 feet of lake-frontage, it is accessible via car, boat, or via the adjacent Amtrak rail line. Prior to becoming a marina in 1989, the property was home to a very large Iron Foundry, rail yard, and barge-loading operation known as Cedar Point. Cedar point, part of the larger Witherbee-Sherman Mining Company, operated in the late 19th and early 20th centuries smelting iron ore to be shipped throughout the world via the Lake Champlain Canal and Hudson River, and is credited with providing iron to some of America's leading projects at the time. Some remains of the sites industrious past can be observed throughout the property. From Father's Day to Labor Day, the Marina hosts the Port Henry Waterfront Farmers' Market every Friday between 5PM and 8PM. The Market features farms, makers, artists, food trucks and Live Music every week.
