Peaceful location in a cozy tiny home with forest and trails nearby!
Bed was very cozy and the wall heater was useful on the cold nights.
Dishes were greasy from previous campers and there were no plates just plastic bowls; Only one metal fork too.
Would have liked a more complete set of pots, pans, and dishes since we tend to cook full meals. Having a reliable source for extra would have been nice since the state park was closed for the season.

Wow what an amazing time and weekend getaway in the Gnome Cabin. Not only was it cozy, relaxing, clean and magnificent, it immediately felt like home!

We really loved our time at the cabin. The property is easy to access and the setting is peaceful and quiet. The pond is a nice added bonus and our dogs enjoyed exploring the trails in the woods. The craftsmanship of the cabin was really impressive, you can tell Courtney and Luke put a lot of effort into making this special place.

Just returned for a second visit to this amazing site. It was just as magical as the first time. Calm, quiet, comfortable, private and beautiful. In an incredible area with lots to see and do.

Gnome Cabin
This is a special spot that I highly recommend! The Gnome Cabin is exceptionally created and thought out to make it comfortable, peaceful and easy to manage. The location is ideal, surrounded by nature yet close to amenities and other activities if desired. The host's communication is prompt, helpful, kind and welcoming. Thank you Courtney and Luke for sharing your beautiful cabin and land. I hope to visit again.

This Gnome cabin was amazing! You can see the love Courtney and Luke poured into building the cabin, outhouse and property. I wish we had a longer stay! Perfect get away. Only want to mention if others read my review and are staying this fall. As of 9/10, the lake next to the cabin is dry. I would love to come back with a full lake!

We had a perfect little getaway at the gnome cabin! It was secluded and peaceful, yet well equipped with everything we needed. It was adorable, with a clean and comfortable bed that made it easy to relax. The thoughtful details and craftsman touches throughout the space really stood out, and the décor was warm and inviting.
It was also pup-friendly, which made our stay even better, and the whole place felt cozy. You can tell a lot of care went into making this place special. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing, charming escape!

I loved this adorable little spot. Perfect for someone like me who just wanted to be in the middle of the Vermont green mountain wood. The drive was beautiful. The lil gnome cabin was just perfect. Clean and quaint. It has everything you'll need: pots, pans, French coffee press, seasonings, coffee, tea, silverware, books, 8 gallons of water, extra T.P., picnic table, blankets, sheets and 2 pillows, large 'orca' cooler, and solar power. The only things I should have got extra of were wood and water. You can refill the water container as needed. The toilet was very clean and comfy. Unfortunately at this time of the year the pond is dry. But the cute lil sunfish came right up to me. There's lots of rocks to explore on the property and so many little critters that emerge at night or after a rainfall (newts, slugs, millipedes, daddy long legs) . Lots of shade. NO BUGS!! ( Second time in the green mountains and noticed this before) Trails all around on the property and up the street about a mile is the Endless Brook trailhead. Lovely property. No cell service. Very quiet. Courtney was available by phone whenever needed. They thought of everything and the hard work that went into this place shows. I Felt safe and rested. I learned allot about gnomes and searched near and far. I could feel them around but never did see any. Though I'm sure they saw me frolicking around . I will definitely be back here again.

This site matches the description and then some. The gnome house is perfect with a comfy bed, nice solar powered lights and plenty of potable water delivered by a foot pump system to the hammered copper sink.
It was clean and welcoming. The pond was mostly dry due to our drought but there are nice places to hike with the pups. The picnic table and fire pit with a cooking grate make being outdoors relaxing and easy.

My sweetheart and I have been to over 30 different Hipcamps at this point... I can honestly say that this site is among our top 3, if not number 1! Absolutely perfect site!
Its incredibly well kept, very private, beautiful and peaceful. Like others have said you can really feel the love and effort the hosts have put into it. All the small details add up to something truly special. The cabin itself is out of a fairytale. Comfortable, clean and oozing with charm.
The hosts were communicative and helpful. The site was clearly marked and easy to find. Lots of good food very close by. We planned on exploring the nearby lake but we were so happy and content at the site we never made it.
I can't recommend this site enough. We will be returning for sure.

The woods were beautiful, and the little cabin is quite the impressive setup. Everything is very well maintained. You can clearly see the love that was put into all of it. My kids had a great time paddling around on the pond. It’s a pretty quiet area. The lake is close by as well, but the main entrance was blocked during my stay so I did not get to explore that, unfortunately.

We loved Gnome cabin and had a wonderful time! Definitely recommend it for solo, girls, beginners for camping/getaway! If you're looking for an absolute secluded place, then it might not be for you.
Here's what we loved -
1. Scenic drive to lots of trails, state parks, and nature.
2. Walkable to Slate Valley trailhead and a beautiful state park.
3. Clean and efficient cabin.
4. Spotty cell service.
5. Quiet and tucked away but a safe distance from neighbors.
We had a great time and really enjoyed our time here.

Beautiful and quiet piece of land, craftsmanship and coziness of the cabin was breathtaking. Lots of amazing hikes around as well as the state park across the street. Will definitely be back!

This spot is an outdoors lover’s dream! You are a walk or bike ride away to hikes and trails. Also, the town of Poultney is 3.4~ miles away. There is an amazing used book store and some nice little diner spots.
Oh yeah, the cabin is awesome too! On my first night I jumped in the canoe and just bopped around on the pond. It has everything one human could want. I love this spot, and I will be back!

This was the perfect setup for weekend getaway! Everything was extremely charming and clean.
Even though it dipped down into the 40s, we were nice and warm in the cabin thanks to the heater. It was wonderful to explore the surrounding areas and then relax by the fire. Hopefully we’ll be back!

The gnome cabin is everything the reviews say and more! Insanely clean, quiet, and cozy. Kitchen has the essentials: kettle, a small cast iron pan, a pot, French press, and a colander. Definitely bring more water if you plan to do a lot of cooking for the dishes. Outhouse is just as clean as everyone says and the cabin is even cuter in person - highly recommend!

This is the perfect spot for exploring Lake St. Catherine and the surrounding towns. Mountain biking trails are just down the road, and when you're all done, the site is peaceful, neat and tidy. The cabin is just right for two people, thoughtfully designed and comfortable. The outhouse is the cleanest I have ever seen and not scary to get to in the middle of the night. We will be back!

Returning to the workweek, we're still riding the wave of bliss from this perfect getaway. The cabin was an absolute dream, offering the ideal retreat even with mixed weather. Gnome cabin was nothing short of magical. You can see and feel all of the thoughtfulness and care they put into creating it. The cabin was cozy and tidy and the outhouse was super clean. Our doggo also loved running free and checking out the little pond. We met Courtney as we were leaving which was an absolute pleasure. She was very kind and you can tell how meaningful this property is to them. This will definitely be a regular retreat for us!
