Refreshing riverside retreat with tent sites, RV/camper parking, and tiny house cabin on over 5 acres, featuring sunny meadows, veggie garden plot, 4-wheeler paths, and seasonal direct access to snowmobile trails. The property is perfectly nestled near the Green Mountains and the White Mountains, with a swimming hole and river fishing available right in the backyard. Bike trails, walking trails and stunning motorcycle routes are all at your fingertips from the property. Village amenities, such as groceries, bike shops, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, and laundromat are all in walking distance (about 1 mile or less). Lake St. Catherine State Park (hot showers here) and Lake Bomoseen and others are close by for fun park activities. Visit a local winery (Whaleback Vineyard), see how maple syrup is made (Thrall Road Maple), shop the neighboring farm stands for local eggs and produce. Close regional access to hunting, skiing, snowboarding. Lightning bug / firefly season is here at the riverside retreat! As you settle in for the evening, keep an eye out for our little lantern carrying friends, while the river babbles below. Coming soon: berry picking! Blackberry and raspberry bushes are fruiting and ripening in the coming weeks. They have already bloomed and are currently growing an abundance of berries, which you are welcome to pick. In the fall, feel free to collect crab apples from our 100+ year old former orchard. New additions: 6-seater triple hammock stand with built in picnic table, fire pits added to The Boatyard and Orchard sites, a second fan added to the Tiny Cabin, solar twinkle lights added around the property. Tent sites can accommodate multiple tents, for group camping. Multiple fields available for yard games. Can accommodate parties and celebrations. 10’x20’ pop up shade tent available to rent upon request (has sidewalls). Excellent site for photo shoots, glamping, stargazing, sunbathing, leaf peeping. Want us to stock a cooler for you? Charcuterie, snacks, meals, beverages, etc. available upon request, customizable to your dietary preferences. Coming with a special guest? We can also provide flowers, sweet treats, custom greeting cards, etc.

I loved this tiny cabin so much! It was so calm and beautiful. Pretty private, only downside is no bathroom and a little bit of spiders in the porta potty. Beautiful river that you can see from the cabin. The host is incredible and so nice!

Riverside Tiny House Cabin

The tiny cabin is in a beautiful spot, surrounded by trees and next to a river. It has everything you need for a really enjoyable stay. It’s also less than a mile from Poultney with pubs, restaurants and shops. Safe (because I know some folks worry about that, especially solo travelers like myself) and serene. Ty to Robbin who created a lovely space.

This was an extremely last minute booking and the host handled it perfectly. Literally booked at 7:30pm for that night and everything was perfect. A great quiet location along a nice stream was a excellent way to wake up. We will definitely be back someday hopefully with more time to explore the area!

The Boatyard

This is a great camping spot with easy access to plenty of activities. I used the location as a jumping off spot for a few Gravel and MTB rides. Will definitely do it again!

Amazing place

Riverside Tiny House Cabin

It was a wonderful place to get away for the weekend and have some peace and quiet. They were ready to greet us when we pulled in and didn't even know what time we were coming the tiny house is beautiful has everything that you need and if you're okay with The rustic. The bed is super comfy everything was nice and clean will definitely be back. Robin was super quick to answer any questions and very helpful but at the same time we felt like we were all alone in the property it was amazing.

Absolutely stunning location & wonderful experience through & through! Very quiet area & the sound & view of the Poultney River from the cabin helped me get some of the best sleep in recent memory. The trip consisted of me, a middle-aged mom, my 16 year old daughter who wanted a city-sensory detox following exams, & two young, high energy dogs that had yet to travel together. I’m thrilled to say the cabin fit us all well & cozy, & Robbin’s hospitality was truly remarkable! You can tell when a host truly wants to welcome visitors & who understands the art of hospitality & not simply the aesthetics of what may look good from afar. She & anything & everything I could have thought of stocked & ready in a lovely rustic cabinet - from cookware to tea, spices, cloth napkins, extra towels (she told me to not worry about staining bc puppies and torrential rain = some mess lol) & even extra hotel sized toiletries if needed. Not only was the cabin cozy & well heated by the gas ‘wood’ stove when it got chilly, it had nice air circulation when the quality newer windows were opened . The sound system is GREAT - albeit a bit complicated for me to understand but the teenager understood it easily, go figure 🤣 From the fresh flowers waiting to the small selection of books, games, (and a puzzle cube we didn’t dare attempt lol,) it was a lovely getaway. I hope to return again with my water shoes, an inner tube, & a tether to keep me close to shore for another magical tiny house visit!

Riverside Meadow Campsite 1

The Riverside Meadow was a perfect picturesque campsite for us! Robbin was so accommodating offering us use of a grill, hose , electric, as well as multiple areas on her property to find a suitable camping options. There is a hill down to the river… but we had no problems with our AWD Toyota Sienna minivan. Delightful experience at her Riverside Meadow!!!

This place was absolutely beautiful ! Robbin was so communicate and friendly ! Also help me get out of a rut I had put myself in. I felt secure and safe , and enjoyed my time ! I will definitely be coming back !
