Granite Hill Lodge and Campground is a re-invented campground, brought back to life with the purpose of providing a place of quiet and leisure in the busy Lake George area. Only 20 minutes to Lake George beaches, downtown and outlet shopping, Granite Hill is in a great location to enjoy the beautiful Adirondacks while providing a getaway in the foothills of Fort Ann. The newly designed campground provides a small camping feel with plenty of outdoor space to bike and hike. The property is located on the Champlain Canalway Bike Trail and has an established hiking trail and a smaller walking trail to beautiful overlooks, looking over the Adirondack Mountains. The Campground has 18 sites with a mix of Tent sites, Full Hook up sites (P/W/S) and Power and Water Sites (P/W). Due to multiple reservation systems, we do not have all of our sites listed on Hipcamp. If you are with a group or are in need of another site, send us a message and we will see how we can accommodate.

Five stars for hipcampers. Kelly and Ryan are great hosts and available for any concern. The whole place is well maintained and cared for as evidenced by many flower gardens. Enjoyed the hike to the lookout. Stayed for 3 nights and would happily return again.

Beautiful & peaceful campground. Very well maintained, landscaped and but still perfectly rustic. Had 2 small hiking trails with phenomenal views as an added bonus! Inexpensive firewood too. Kelly & Ryan are Very friendly, courteous and attentive owners. Overall great experience, will be returning again.

This was indeed one of the best camp sites I think I visited. We checked in after a long cycling day, were greeted by Kelly, assigned a beautiful RV spot (we camped in our Tesla's,) and I ended up sleeping outside, set up on pads and sleeping bag. The site is quiet ( the good quiet), spaced out very generously, wood is offered unlimited at 10 dollars a stay / or a night (?), water, electricity, some of the cleanest showers and bathrooms I have seen ( my friend told me that he thought it was cleaner and more modern that most of the 3 star hotels in the U - we are Canadian). And, did I mention the views ? No obstructed views, no bushes, no thick forrest, it felt as if this were made for an astronomic observatory. .. and at night, the Milky Way. Yes. That. ( The camping site is in Fort Ann, but a few miles up from the historic town and hence no town lights to ' compete with'. I could go on and on, but this is def top 5 in all the sites I have camped at. Thank you Kelly for hosting us. ( Dan and Chris)

It was so peaceful and laid back. Being a smaller campground meant less traffic and more peaceful environment to be outdoors. We loved the trails to the lookouts. Having space between sites was wonderful for our dog.

Hands down one of the best bathrooms I’ve ever encountered at a camp site - extremely clean, great shower, amazing! Pair that with a good location near some local hikes, smaller number of sites so you aren’t packed in with a bunch of people, and the easy access to firewood…would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a dog friendly, cozy spot with everything you could need for a quick trip 👌🏼 Definitely on our list if we return to the Lake George area in the future.

We had an incredible camping weekend in Kelly’s land. We were situated on site 3, which was incredibly private and had a lovely picnic bench and a fire ring. The amenities were top-notch, with extremely clean bathrooms and showers. The campground’s standout feature was the Grab as you burn service. We had the pleasure of meeting Kelly and Rick during check-in, who were incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts.

We had an amazing stay at Granite Hill Lodge! The site was peaceful, and the setting was gorgeous—perfect for relaxing by the fire. The host, Kelly, was welcoming and made everything easy from check-in to checkout. Some highlights for us were trails to beautiful views, modern showers and nice picnic tables. The site had firewood available, showers and bathrooms on site, decent service for ATT but Verizon has a tower right in the property. We’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quiet retreat. We can’t wait to come back!

Nice little campground with full hookups and a nice fire pit.There was nice pub just a few miles up the road and a Cumbys if you need gas or ice.Just a short ride to the Hillbilly mini golf which was a lot of fun and they have food and ice cream also!I highly recommend the campground and would definately stay again if in the area.

What a great campground! It was exactly as stated. Very quiet, small. Within 30 minutes of many great. Hiking trails. The bathrooms were kept clean and the showers were very nice. They even had an all you can burn Firewood stock pile for $10. If you so chose. My neighbors were so friendly. I didn’t need to because they had their own fire to share.

Our time was absolutely perfect!! We stayed at site 17 . It had more than enough room for our 32 foot travel trailer and two cars . The bathhouse is very nice. Water pressure is very good and didn’t have any issues with getting hot water . The two little short hikes on the lookouts were definitely a plus . Also my son was able to ride his bike without having to worry about to much traffic in and out. We will definitely be rebooking this campground when we are back up in Fort Ann.
