Historic, quintessential VT farmstead on 38 private acres at the end of a quiet dirt road. The Slate Valley Trails pass through our property - providing direct access to 50+miles of world-class mountain biking and hiking trails. We are located mid-point in the network at a perfect jumping off point for adventure. There are also miles and miles of quiet dirt roads and abandoned forest tracks in the area, offering near endless opportunities for gravel cycling adventures. The property features perennial gardens, a pond, open meadows, forestland, and picturesque southerly views from the top of the north meadow. The tent, van and glamping sites are thoughtfully located in protected nooks in the forestland and along the forest's edge. We have hot outdoor showers (3) and a handmade wooden building that houses our portable toilets. There is also a communal fire pit.

Van Site #1

Beautiful Property!

This Hipcamp was a nice surprise. We have never to Vermont but I'm so glad we made this stop! The grounds were well maintained. Showers and toilets were exceptionally clean. Each stall (shower and toilet area) was large enough to change in as well. The showers have hot water. Everything was as advertised. We would definitely stay here again!

Van Site #1

Camping right next to SVT

Fantastic spot. Beautiful & peaceful farm setup with nice sites and new/clean facilities. Slate Valley trails can be accessed from the property. We liked so much we decided to stay an extra night. Hosts were super friendly and helpful with advice on the area….Caitrin even went out of her way to help us when we had some car trouble. One of the best Hipcamp experiences we’ve had in our truck camper. We will be back!

Van Site #1

What a great location and setup at the Trail house! Caitlin and Hardy are so welcoming! Van site 1 located just past the toilets was perfect for our small 5x10 trailer/camper conversion...despite the hot muggy weather we had a great time riding the mountain bike trails right out of the camp. Showers are awesome as are the toilets. They really thought of everything! Thanks Caitlin and Hardy, I'm sure we will be back soon!

Group Van Site

Great Access to Slate Valley trails

This was a great place to camp. Hardy met us when we arrived and guided us to the site. The Slate Valley trails run right past the camp sites so it is easy to jump on your bike and be flying down the trails in 30 seconds. The outhouses were clean and well stocked with necessities. There were hot outdoor showers. The property was beautiful. Great views of the nearby mountains and farmland.

Great hospitality from the hosts. The setup is amazing - all that you need. Had a great stay and would recommend this place to anyone!

Lovely place to camp

Lovely place to stay. Owner are very welcoming. We stayed just one night but it was great. Installations are very clean. I recommand !
