Secluded in the wilderness, Boulder Brook Hipcamp has private tent sites right next to a babbling brook. The access road is a nice gravel .6 mile long road that is not maintained in the Winter. There is firewood for sale via Venmo right in the parking area, $6 per bundle. There is also a nice outhouse. There are 4 first come, first serve sites with tent platforms and fire pits. There is quick access to the Rockingham Recreational Trail, which is ideal for walking, mountain biking, and exploring. There is also a great swimming hole nearby called Chivers Pond. The campsites are located on the back corner of the Chivers Farm property and seasonal farm goods will be available for campers to purchase coming in 2025.

Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope.
Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics.
The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. It includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, and electricity. While simple and minimalist, these amenities make the site more comfortable, and we hope they enhance your stay.

Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm / Conservation / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events.
Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals.
At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers.
Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain!
Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include…
Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping.
This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

Located about an acre behind our family home (which you can see from the spot), the camp site is within steps of our barn, which has both running water and electrical hookups (20amps) for campers to use. An open field next door plays host to numerous deer and turkeys, and the flower fields feature a rotating lineup of beautiful blooms (depending on the time of the season.)
We are located off a busy street where cars drive a little too fast — if you have a dog that needs to be walked daily, we would recommend stopping by the beach or one of the many nearby walking trails instead of venturing down the road.
Max length of vehicles is 30 feet -- we've found that any longer and the turns are too tight.

The site comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests and 2 vehicles. A lighted path leads from the parking area to the campsite, where you'll find a stone fireplace, campfire chairs, a table, complimentary firewood, and a couple of bottled waters to get you started. A full size cooler is available for your use. Fire suppression water is provided on site — just ask if you need more.
A designated waste disposal barrel is provided on site. Please be sure to properly secure your waste before dropping it in the barrel.
Dogs are welcome on leash. Well-trained dogs with reliable voice commands may be considered off leash. Dogs may not be left unattended at the site. I do have a long line for your dog which can be utilized at the campsite.
This is an LGBTQ+ welcoming space. All guests are welcome here genuinely, not just by policy.

Large camping spot on the edge of a 125-acre farm. Convenient to most locations in Southern Maine and NH. Located near the center of town, there are stores and restaurants within a 5-minute drive. Excellent location to be away from tourist areas but close enough to visit -Beaches 20-30 minutes, RT 95-15 mins, Portland 45; Portsmouth-45 mins, Kittery Outlets -30 mins. White Mountains 1 hour 30 mins.
NOTE- This is Maine, so we do have ticks. We strongly encourage the use of spray on yourselves and pets.
NOISE- We are near a state road, so there will be some hum of road noise, unfortunately.
Site has an open area with sunny or shaded place to set up camp. Guests are welcome to walk or hike around the property. There are open fields and some rough hiking trails (wear good shoes!) Small stream runs through the property and there are wild turkeys, deer and other wildlife about.

Bakers Island Light Station sits on Bakers Island in Salem Sound, is a 60-acre island with a large summer colony. and guides ships in and out of Salem Harbor.
The 10-acre light station includes the 59 ft. tall lighthouse, historic structures such as two keepers' houses, an oil house, and a lantern room (now a gift shop). Formerly owned by the U.S. Coast Guard, the deed was transferred on August 27, 2014, to the Essex National Heritage Commission (Essex Heritage), a non-profit dedicated to public access and preservation.
ABOUT THE CAMPSITE
Enjoy off-the-grid coastal living at the Bakers Island Light Station Campsite. With only three camp sites, it's an intimate and private retreat — set up your tent on a raised platform, meet the summer lighthouse keepers, stroll the island trails, and unwind — just three miles off the coast of Salem!
GETTING TO CAMP
The only way to reach the campsite is by boat. Three options are available:
1. Our landing craft, the Naumkeag — $70/adult, $50/child (ages 4–12). Departs from Blaney Street Dock. Contact us to purchase tickets. You must provide the first and last name of each passenger.
2. Your own boat + mooring rental — $50/night. You will need your own dinghy to get ashore, as there is no dock. Contact us to reserve a mooring.
3. Kayak — For experienced kayakers only. The island sits in a busy channel with potentially rough waters.
All campers must arrange transportation after booking. Details will be sent upon confirmation.
IMPORTANT
The $60/night fee covers up to 4 people per site. Maximum capacity is 4 people per site, and names of all guests must be provided before arrival.

You can enjoy glamping in our greenhouse-tent for peace and tranquility. There is a cabin built inside the tent. It is under a canopy of trees with a cool pond breeze prevailing. The bed and linens are first rate for a very comfortable stay. There are shelves, potable water and a table within. It is heated in the cool temps and fan cooled in the warmer days. There is a kayak and paddleboard available to borrow. There is a dryflush toilet, hand sink and outdoor heated shower in the back of the tent. Cooking is on charcoal grill and toaster oven. There are dishes, cups and utensils for your use. as well as coffee press and hot water boiler.
The 40 acre pond is 65 feet deep. It is a kettle pond which is spring fed with no river inlets to pollute it. Access is a little tricky with 100 yard hike from the parking area down a steep slope. The pond is stocked with bass and trout for great fishing. The birds are amazing. Henry David Thoreau wrote about White Pond in his book, Walden as the "emerald eyes of the world." This is a place that magic happens.

What a wonderful place to stay. We didn't expect a ton of wildlife in the area, but were pleasantly surprised with the insects, butterflies, and birds (ton of barn swallows) that came to visit the cantina courtyard daily. The sky views were pretty magical, and the Abigale was great in communicating instruction and directions. This was a great stay, highly recommended and would love to visit again!

The location was wonderful with lots of things to keep you busy as you explore the property or some of the nearby options Eben suggested. We did a family trip with younger kids and found it to be a perfect blend between car camping and tent camping. We had the convenience options of car camping with the privacy of tent camping.

This was a last minute booking for us and it was absolutely magical! We stayed at site 3 The ridge, It was gorgeous, Eben was so welcoming and gave us clear instructions on everything including a map that shows all the perfectly
marked trails along the mountain. Our site has everything you could think of and more than we knew! Fresh water, cooking untensils, a platform
for our tent, chairs etc Wood and such a well maintained property it was amazing! Highly reccomend! The view also is unbelievable!!!!

What a beautiful spot! There is a little bit of a walk from parking to the site so pack efficiently. Great view with easy water access. The neighbor has a rooster so bring a noise machine and/or ear plugs. The owners were SO nice. Would stay again!

We had a great time staying on the top of the Ridge at campsite 3! Eben was very accommodating right from the start even though we were running late, he explained the whole layout and what to expect, gave us an easy guide map. The $60 for the ride for your stuff up is worth it!! Also the eggs or fresh chicken you can get from the farm next door is such a plus! The fresh eggs were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the hike up and down. It was definitely rocky, but we hike a lot, and didn't find it difficult, but it is quite steep. The site at the top is absolutely beautiful! The hammocks are such a great addition. My daughter and I read in them one day, and just listened to the grasshoppers. The campsite is equipped with so many useful items, water jugs, pan, grill tools, ect. Everything to cook over the fire. No bathrooms at the campsite, but CLEANEST porta potty at the base of the camp. Also a shower(looked wonderful though we didnt utilize). My family and I were there celebrating my 40th, so it was such a wonderful surprise to see fireworks off in the distance . The sunsets and sunrises, are amazing. So many shooting stars! There are chairs in a tote under the deck, a little bench near the fire and a picnic table, so plenty of seating. Another surprise was all the amazing rocks. If you like looking at beautiful sparkly mica rocks then you will be in heaven! Its one of the most peaceful places we've been in awhile. We already cant wait to go back!

Weekend Trip to Ponderings at White Pond
We celebrated my birthday weekend here. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a laid back, peaceful weekend by a beautiful clear pond. Claudine and Henry were excellent hosts and gave us a tour so we knew where everything was. They were 100% accessible to us, but we still had our privacy. I enjoyed using the paddle board.
We used to do more rustic camping for my birthday weekend but this was just the upgrade I needed for my beleaguered middle-aged body. The tent/cabin was very cozy and clean, with electricity so we could curl up to a movie at night with our laptop. A hot shower was much appreciated after a day of swimming. Very comfy bed.
We used the rocket stove for most of our meals, which is great for cooking in a pan or open flame grilling with just a small amount of wood. Also used the charcoal grill. The toaster oven was perfect for roasting potatoes.
I also just really enjoyed talking to them! Laid back, kind people and I would 100% visit again.

Beautiful, private, quiet location and perfect amenities (toilets, running water, trash can). We did not use the showers, but great to have those, too!

Adam is a great host!
Halfway between ME and CT for me so I plan to return again.

Eden's has great set up. The tent platform, tables and sets are handmade and new. The firepit had kindling in it set up. Fire starter is provided and other items that help main the fire. There is a BBQ grill too. The hike to the site is stem, but if you only bring what you need you can manage it.

The spot is beautiful and very close to the coastal towns and beaches. You absolutely need bug spray as it was very buggy and just note you can hear traffic on the road through the night, though it's not too loud.

Very unique camping experience. Ledgewood site 4 was very comfortable and quite scenic. It was very well prepared and cared for. The trails were well marked and everything was mapped out well. Great host who provided us with everything we needed. Plenty of flat spots for tents. Will try to get back up there again.
