Definitely will be coming here again! Super friendly, everything we needed, BEAUTIFUL VIEWS. If this past weekend wasn’t our last trip for this year we’d come back this year, but next year we’ll definitely be coming back!! If you’re hesitant booking here, just do it. Totally worth it

We had a great experience at Hussey Tree Farm. Eben is an engaged host that makes the trip easy. The location was wonderful with lots of things to keep you busy as you explore the property or some of the nearby options Eben suggested. We did a family trip with younger kids and found it to be a perfect blend between car camping and tent camping. We had the convenience options of car camping with the privacy of tent camping.

Eben was an absolutely fantastic host - a one man army maintaining such a huge property and doing a stellar job. He communicated clearly on what we can expect and gave us clear instructions on how to get to the base camp and how we would then get to our campsite. I would recommend you take the time to chat with him too. It’ll make you appreciate the property, and his efforts, even more. :)

We had a great time staying on the top of the Ridge at campsite 3! Eben was very accommodating right from the start even though we were running late, he explained the whole layout and what to expect, gave us an easy guide map. The $60 for the ride for your stuff up is worth it!! Also the eggs or fresh chicken you can get from the farm next door is such a plus! The fresh eggs were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the hike up and down. It was definitely rocky, but we hike a lot, and didn't find it difficult, but it is quite steep. The site at the top is absolutely beautiful! The hammocks are such a great addition. My daughter and I read in them one day, and just listened to the grasshoppers. The campsite is equipped with so many useful items, water jugs, pan, grill tools, ect. Everything to cook over the fire. No bathrooms at the campsite, but CLEANEST porta potty at the base of the camp. Also a shower(looked wonderful though we didnt utilize). My family and I were there celebrating my 40th, so it was such a wonderful surprise to see fireworks off in the distance . The sunsets and sunrises, are amazing. So many shooting stars! There are chairs in a tote under the deck, a little bench near the fire and a picnic table, so plenty of seating. Another surprise was all the amazing rocks. If you like looking at beautiful sparkly mica rocks then you will be in heaven! Its one of the most peaceful places we've been in awhile. We already cant wait to go back!

Best stay in Nh!!!!

This was a last minute booking for us and it was absolutely magical! We stayed at site 3 The ridge, It was gorgeous, Eben was so welcoming and gave us clear instructions on everything including a map that shows all the perfectly marked trails along the mountain. Our site has everything you could think of and more than we knew! Fresh water, cooking untensils, a platform for our tent, chairs etc Wood and such a well maintained property it was amazing! Highly reccomend! The view also is unbelievable!!!!

Site 3 with awesome views

Eden's has great set up. The tent platform, tables and sets are handmade and new. The firepit had kindling in it set up. Fire starter is provided and other items that help main the fire. There is a BBQ grill too. The hike to the site is stem, but if you only bring what you need you can manage it.

Very unique camping experience. Ledgewood site 4 was very comfortable and quite scenic. It was very well prepared and cared for. The trails were well marked and everything was mapped out well. Great host who provided us with everything we needed. Plenty of flat spots for tents. Will try to get back up there again.

A Tree Farm to Remember!

We totally enjoyed everything about our experience on Eben's property. As host, Eben takes great pride in his property and the positive experience of his guests. He welcomed us with a smile, explained the features of the grounds (and a little history, cool!), and suggested some places nearby that we visit. He has thoughtfully and meticulously integrated the camp experience seamlessly into the tree farm. The amenities are creatively crafted and impeccably maintained. We immediately knew when had made the right choice for our adventure and we will return again.

This was an amazing camping trip, and Eben was an incredible host! The sights are beautifully situated on the mountain and have a ton of amenities that you don't find in most campgrounds. He's thoughtfully designed and created a great camping experience, and is really great about sharing resources on the mountain and in surrounding areas. My nine-year-old daughter, who joined me on the camping trip, was begging to come back as soon as we can.

You won’t be disappointed with your stay at Hussey Mountain. I stayed at the Ledgewood site (4) with a group of friends for a weekend. We enjoyed the adventure of getting to the site and the remoteness feel once at the site. You feel like you’re the only group there. On location you can easily enjoy the property amenities that are clearly marked and labeled. Eben was an incredible host that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give us helpful tips and tricks.

Well Worth the Steep Hike!!

This Hipcamp was by far the best Hipcamp I've stayed at! Eben has created a wonderful, quiet, well thought-out space on top of Hussey Mountain with four campsites. Rick and I stayed in Site #3, the Ridge, which had beautiful views, a great breeze, and quietness. Of course, one had to hike up a steep incline to get to the campsite, but o was it worth it!! We're going back in the fall for sure!! Thank you, Eben.

Eben is approachable and quite thorough in his provided amenities at the campsites. The campsite felt tucked away and private. The terrain humbled me and made me realize my actual lack of fitness, but I would absolutely stay again + pack differently / more compact. :) Thanks for an awesome weekend away from reality, Eben! Wow!! What a magical place. Exceeded expectations. We had the best time. We camped at the ridge spot and had almost a 360° view. We got to watch sunrise from our tent and sunset from the fire pit. We used the tent platform as a deck and loved that option gave us plenty of space to set up our little kitchen, and it overlooked the foothills making for a beautiful backdrop for cooking. Picked blueberries, right on site and made blueberry pancakes, which was a highlight! Can’t beat that! The site also has blackberries and raspberries as well. We were surprised to see very little light pollution from the surrounding larger towns and the seacoast. The view is amazing. You can barely see any houses. It feels so remote and private. Eben is an awesome host! He’s done so much with the property. It’s really cool to see someone utilizing the land in this way. Sharing it for everyone to enjoy and really bringing out the best in it. The shuttle was super helpful as the site is pretty steep to get to. firewood was well taken care of and dry and the map he gives is really cool. He also gave us many suggestions for swimming around the area which were well-thought-out and super helpful as it was a pretty hot weekend. Our dog had the best time running around and napping in the shade. We will most definitely be back, hopefully in the winter for some snowboarding!! Thanks Eben - you’re the sh*t!!!!

This site exceeded my expectations in every way. It's more beautiful than any photo can show, with partial views of both sunrise and sunset. Be aware, all the hill and rocky trail warnings are not exaggerated. I would highly suggest opting for the gear transport option. He can fit a lot into his ATV and it's a very reasonable price for a group. The hike is not long but very steep. The whole site was in pristine condition. I didn't find a single piece of stray trash or lost items all weekend. Composting toilet was very clean and not a bad walk from the site(be warned it is up hill). Having two 10x10 easy ups and lots of eyelets in the trees were great for the rain we got. We were able to stay dry and enjoy the lovely sounds and sights of rain. The fire pit is huge and very nicely laid out, with an attached section for cooking on. It's also very private as described! Eben is an amazing host. He is prompt when replying to messages and very knowledgeable about the local area. We loved hearing him talk about his land, it's very clear he is passionate about it. We opted to not leave the site much since we were so content there! We did explore the pick your own blueberry maze which I highly recommend. Those are some very old bushes that look more like blueberry trees.

Our family loved camping at Eben's land and can't wait to come back next year! The place is beautifully maintained, with such attention to detail that you can tell how much it is loved. We honestly found it perfect, and Eben was an exceptionally generous, attentive, and simply wonderful host. The Oak Terrace campsite was perfect for our pup who had plenty of shade to hide from the sun, and we loved being halfway up the mountain and yet being able to enjoy some amazing views. All the campsites are spaced out; most of the time, we felt like the whole mountain was only ours to enjoy. With a short hike, we were able to enjoy both the sunset and the sunrise, which was something that we really looked forward to. The blueberries were plentiful and so, so good (and we also kept finding raspberries and blackberries). Honestly, the few days we spent at Eben's land were just amazing, and we are deeply grateful for his hospitality and for sharing his beautiful place with us.

We had an amazing stay at Eben’s place. He was a responsive and responsible host, and the views from our campsite were absolutely breathtaking. Watching the beautiful sunset colors light up the sky and then catching sunrise right from the campsite was unforgettable. During blueberry season, there are plenty of fresh blueberries to forage around the site as well. We would definitely love to come back!

Such an amazing place! We loved hiking the trails, relaxing in the hammock overlooking the mountains, the views from the ridge lookout and the fireworks show was spectacular! Eben was the absolute greatest host; before we arrived he sent ideas and maps, greeted us when we arrived and helped set up and gave us some cool tips to enjoy the stay! We can’t wait to go back!
