ATFS Certified Tree Farm Est. 2004 Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs. Book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events. Message anytime if you’re looking to use the property for a private event and we’d be happy to work with you! Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain! Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include… Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping. This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

Enjoy mountain views across NH and into ME from the shelter of the forest at your site. Camp with your group of up to 15 at our private Tree Farm / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. (Site 4 Ledgewood) offers guests our best combination of privacy, amenities, shelter, and views. Created for personal use over two decades ago; Ledgewood is our original and most improved upon outdoor space. The site is nestled within a series of moss covered ledge outcroppings at approximately 1000’ above sea level. A mixed forest provides excellent shelter from both weather elements and the sun. A break in the trees over boulders to the front of the site provides beautiful mountain views across NH into ME and of sunrise. The site is equipped with well spaced level areas that will easily fit up to 15 people in multiple tents. Two 10X10 ft canopies over picnic tables. One 10x8 ft round top shelter. Large fieldstone firepit with a built-in grill. Firewood rack stocked with bundles for purchase. Food prep table. Folding table, Two large picnic tables. Dish washing station. Four hammocks. Six camping chairs. Four benches. Twenty eight gallons of water in containers with spigots. Trashcan. Solar and string lighting. Other decorative and functional touches. A private composting outhouse is a short walk out of the site. Connected to the site by a short trail is a natural clearing. Utilize the area for stargazing/sunning, or pitch a tent if you’re looking to sleep under the stars. *Services applicable to the site include... Gear/food transport via ATV. (If selected in extras) Firewood delivery. Free trash removal. Berry picking in season is free; blackberries, raspberries, low/highbush blueberries. To access the site a short hike is required; .25 mi from 4WD parking and .5 mi from 2WD parking. The trail is fairly rugged and not conducive to hauling a wagon. We recommend folks pack as if they were backpacking. If not, we suggest selecting the (Site 2, 3 and 4 Roundtrip Gear Transport) as an extra. At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers. The site is located just below the summit of Hussey Mountain at approximately 1,100’ in a series of ledge outcroppings covered in blueberry, raspberry, and juniper bushes. An oak forest lining either side of the site provides some shelter for campers. Because of its exposed nature and high elevation, the site provides beautiful Mountain View’s across NH into ME and of sunrise / sunset. *The site is equipped with… 10x12 FT Elevated tent platform, which can also be used as a deck. Firewood rack stocked with bundles for purchase. Two hammocks. Numerous solar lights. Rock Firepit. Steel pedestal grill. Two picnic tables. Fold up table. Six camping chairs. Two benches. Trash can. I've now camped at the tree farm at Hussey Mountain twice, once with a friend and most recently on my own, and both stays were fantastic. The setting is absolutely beautiful and quiet, the kind of place where you can truly unwind and enjoy being outdoors. What really sets this place apart is the host, Eben. On our first visit, he went out of his way to help us set up our tent, which made us feel welcome from the start. When I came back as a solo female camper, he made me feel comfortable and safe throughout my stay. He offered extra firewood at no charge and even gave me a ride up to my campsite so I wouldn't have to make two trips up and down the mountain with my gear. Those small, thoughtful gestures made a big difference. If you're looking for a scenic, peaceful place to camp, whether with friends or by yourself, I can't recommend it enough. Eben is kind, helpful, and genuinely cares about his guests. I can't wait to come back!

OAK TERRACE at Hussey Mtn Tree Farm
We (5 ladies) just completed a lovely 4-day tent camp stay at Hussey Mountain...we lucked out - the weather was perfect! Eben is one of the most gracious hosts we have ever met; he goes out of his way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We stayed at camp site #2...it's a little bit of a hike from the 4WD parking lot, but not too difficult. There are rocks and roots everywhere, so go slow with the wagon! Eben has a great little ATV with a good wagon to tow, so getting the big gear up (tents, coolers, stoves, etc.) was easy-peasey. The views are spectacular, and it's well worth your time to trek to the summit. The campsites are pristine clean (as is the shower and outhouse!), and the big extra bonus for us was not having to leash our 2 dogs -- they thought they were in doggy Disneyland! Throughout our stay, Eben was always available if needed to bring up more water (plenty of fresh spring water is supplied in crates of 4 gallon jugs), and is a ready resource for any other information you might need. The mountain itself is amazing -- covered with black and white birch trees, maples, and pine. Eben cares about the property, and it shows. Careful clearing and forestry has resulted in a lovely natural forest setting. Our little group tends to be "glampers", so it was a little more rustic camping than we're used to, but it was really worth the extra effort. The privacy, the forest silence, OMG the sky! and the beautiful weather made this weekend a memorable one. We all agreed we want to return next year!

Very grateful to have spent time on Eben’s property. Super peaceful, amazing views and Eben is super helpful and kind. He provides a lot of camp needs including chairs, some cooking supplies, some fire supplies and two hammocks. The platform for the tent was super helpful as well. If you decide to bring your stuff up yourself, seriously pack light. And pack what you can carry. It’s only a 10-15 minute hike but doing it in multiple trips would be annoying and it’s an actual steep hike. The campsite is so beautiful and there are hikes to do around as well. Highly recommend staying here!!

The location and view was incredible. There is a thoughtfulness of the sites and everything at the site. Water at the site, miscellaneous camping items, plenty of seating and tables. Would recommend the cargo haul up to the site. Not bad to hike up, but when you have lots of stuff it's a must. The trails are well maintained and have great views. Will definitely visit again.

Campsite 4 is impeccably tidy, well provisioned, and has an amazing view. We enjoyed sunrise from the site and short hikes around the property with our dog. The privacy is unmatched. We had a great experience at Hussey Tree Farm. Eben is an engaged host that makes the trip easy. The location was wonderful with lots of things to keep you busy as you explore the property or some of the nearby options Eben suggested. We did a family trip with younger kids and found it to be a perfect blend between car camping and tent camping. We had the convenience options of car camping with the privacy of tent camping.

He communicated clearly on what we can expect and gave us clear instructions on how to get to the base camp and how we would then get to our campsite. We had a great time staying on the top of the Ridge at campsite 3! Eben was very accommodating right from the start even though we were running late, he explained the whole layout and what to expect, gave us an easy guide map. The $60 for the ride for your stuff up is worth it!! Also the eggs or fresh chicken you can get from the farm next door is such a plus! The fresh eggs were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed the hike up and down. It was definitely rocky, but we hike a lot, and didn't find it difficult, but it is quite steep. The site at the top is absolutely beautiful! The hammocks are such a great addition. My daughter and I read in them one day, and just listened to the grasshoppers. The campsite is equipped with so many useful items, water jugs, pan, grill tools, ect. Everything to cook over the fire. No bathrooms at the campsite, but CLEANEST porta potty at the base of the camp. Also a shower(looked wonderful though we didnt utilize). My family and I were there celebrating my 40th, so it was such a wonderful surprise to see fireworks off in the distance . The sunsets and sunrises, are amazing. So many shooting stars! There are chairs in a tote under the deck, a little bench near the fire and a picnic table, so plenty of seating. Another surprise was all the amazing rocks. If you like looking at beautiful sparkly mica rocks then you will be in heaven! Its one of the most peaceful places we've been in awhile. We already cant wait to go back!

This was a last minute booking for us and it was absolutely magical! We stayed at site 3 The ridge, It was gorgeous, Eben was so welcoming and gave us clear instructions on everything including a map that shows all the perfectly marked trails along the mountain. Our site has everything you could think of and more than we knew! Fresh water, cooking untensils, a platform for our tent, chairs etc Wood and such a well maintained property it was amazing! Highly reccomend! The view also is unbelievable!!!!

Eden's has great set up. The tent platform, tables and sets are handmade and new. The firepit had kindling in it set up. Fire starter is provided and other items that help main the fire. There is a BBQ grill too. The hike to the site is stem, but if you only bring what you need you can manage it.

Very unique camping experience. Ledgewood site 4 was very comfortable and quite scenic. It was very well prepared and cared for. The trails were well marked and everything was mapped out well. Great host who provided us with everything we needed. Plenty of flat spots for tents. Will try to get back up there again.

BASE CAMP at Hussey Mtn Tree Farm
We totally enjoyed everything about our experience on Eben's property. As host, Eben takes great pride in his property and the positive experience of his guests. He welcomed us with a smile, explained the features of the grounds (and a little history, cool!), and suggested some places nearby that we visit. He has thoughtfully and meticulously integrated the camp experience seamlessly into the tree farm. The amenities are creatively crafted and impeccably maintained. We immediately knew when had made the right choice for our adventure and we will return again.

OAK TERRACE at Hussey Mtn Tree Farm
This was an amazing camping trip, and Eben was an incredible host! The sights are beautifully situated on the mountain and have a ton of amenities that you don't find in most campgrounds. He's thoughtfully designed and created a great camping experience, and is really great about sharing resources on the mountain and in surrounding areas. My nine-year-old daughter, who joined me on the camping trip, was begging to come back as soon as we can.

LEDGEWOOD at Hussey Mtn Tree Farm
You won’t be disappointed with your stay at Hussey Mountain. I stayed at the Ledgewood site (4) with a group of friends for a weekend. We enjoyed the adventure of getting to the site and the remoteness feel once at the site. You feel like you’re the only group there. On location you can easily enjoy the property amenities that are clearly marked and labeled. Eben was an incredible host that went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and give us helpful tips and tricks.
