Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Camp with your group at our private Tree Farm / Conservation / Recreation Area. Established in 2004, we are an 87 acre ATFS certified Tree Farm located in the Blue Hills Range in the Foothills to NH’s White Mountains. Choose from one of four unique sites / outdoor spaces to best fit your camping needs; book a combination to reserve a section of the mountain, or book all four sites for total privacy or for events.
Our Farm spans the northerly side of Hussey Mountain from the base to the summit. Guests are provided with private access to several miles of multi-use nature trails, multiple scenic lookouts, a three acre PYO blueberry maze, and a dock on our private eight acre pond with available boat rentals.
At the 2WD shared parking area guests are provided with a outdoor shower with hot and cold water, a portable toilet, garden hose for washing, a power strip for charging devices, and a spigot with potable water for filling containers.
Over two decades ago we created our first campsite for the purpose of hosting family and friends. Folks enjoyed camping on the mountain so much they often would choose our farm over traditional campgrounds. Hosting campers became a regular weekend event, and to accommodate more people we created three more sites spread out across the property. In 2020, we came across the Hipcamp app and started offering private reservations to the public. Since, we have been hosting campers on a daily basis and continuously improving our sites / infrastructure / views. We’re excited to see what the next two decades hold; come join us on the mountain!
Things to do on the mountain SPRING-FALL include…
Hiking on several miles of maintained nature trails marked with clear signage for easy day/night navigation. Relaxing/taking in the scenery from several scenic lookouts located on and around the mountain’s summit; combined they provide a 360-degree view spanning from the NH/ME Seacoast to the White Mountains of NH, to the Green Mountains of VT. Fishing, paddling, swimming, or relaxing on our dock. Bird/wildlife watching, berry picking, stargazing and leaf peeping.
This is a place you can easily spend a few days and keep busy!

who traveled the Trails from the Canterbury Railroad Station to the Northfield Station. They reported many Wolf sitings in The Swamp over the years and the name stuck. We are located on 52 acres with amazing views, trails and beautiful
Beaver Ponds. Although we are about a mile out in the woods, w are 10 minutes
from everything, shopping, restaurants, local attractions which include local farm
stands, places to swim, fish, kayak and the Merrimack River. There is a playground park and Pond 5 minutes away for the Family to enjoy. Also several local Brewpubs close by, we are only 10 minutes from the Highland Mountain Bike Park.

This is a 200 year old farm filled with life. There are well groomed areas and other more wild areas. We are on almost 13 acres of land that attracts all forms of natural wildlife. In addition, we have alpacas, pigs, sheep, goats, dogs, a cat and chickens. There is a beaver pond on the lower property.
Each site includes a place to sit and eat (ie. picnic table), fire pit and just breathtaking views. Campers can drive into and park at their site. Each site is separate and private from other sites.

We have two outdoor showers that are very rustic and open and the water is the temperature of the surrounding air (bring a bathing suit or something to shower in, there is no privacy fence at this time) This is an active farm that has an operating butcher shop on the premises. We have a farm store offering a variety of items for sale including eggs, honey, rubs and much more. There is a microwave available to the campers in the farm store as well. Each site will be given a bundle of fire wood on the house, additional wood is for sale. You are welcome to participate in farm work. Coffee (from a local NH roaster), tea, hot chocolate and potable water (from the faucet) will be available daily. We are a farm family with young children so large and rowdy or drinking parties are very heavily discouraged.

This land "declaration" is a mostly forested 1.4 acre piece of land that borders the Mascoma River. While civilization (Enfield and Canaan, NH) is only minutes away, there are plenty of trees for some privacy, and a good driveway and an electrical hookup for an RV. There is also a campfire/tent area. Note no potable water supply or toilet as of yet on the property.
Nearby are many activities for those who love the outdoors. Most of the surrounding area is forested and sparsely populated. Goose Pond and Mascoma Lake are just minutes away, offering swimming and boating and fishing. The Appalachian Trail and upper Valley trail networks are nearby. Skiing in the winter.

Great camp site, lots of room to spread out with an on property hike. Eben was a super host, took great care to accommodate us. Prepaid for fire wood which was super dry and ready to enjoy. Amenities such as electrical, running water and hot shower was fantastic. We will be back to enjoy again. Lots of space for a 24' travel trailer/pick up truck. Highly recommend, nice place Eben!!!

We loved the star gazing site 1! The views are beautiful. The property was awesome. There was a ton to do especially with young kids. The hosts built a very cool fairy playground along the creek. Childhood heaven. It was nice having our dogs off leash. The camping sites were very well maintained. We had an overall amazing experience and commend Nick for his kindness and integrity. Wish we could have stayed longer!!

We had the BEST time at Sacred Nectar. Site #2 is tucked away in the woods and made the best home base for the weekend for our group. Definitely one of the best camp spots in New England. Nick is a thoughtful and generous host and I can't wait to come back soon!

one of if not the best places to camp in new hampshire, owner is extremely respectful and kind and their property is very well kept. "the ridge" where I stayed for a couple nights is an amazing place to camp, from the big open quiet space to outstanding views I couldn't recommend it enough. definitely a place you want to spend quality time at. I don't ever write reviews for any old place, but this camp ground properly was impossible to resist. You will not regret staying here.

Beautiful sites. We stayed on #3, which is large and would be good for groups. #2 looked cozier (but no expansive view). Has lots you may need already at site such as pot, pan, lighter, bug spray, water, etc.. Host was very friendly.

One of the prettiest sites we’ve stayed at and lots to explore here, can’t wait to come back! Eben met us at the driveway and went over everything with us which was really helpful. The site was a few minutes walk from the parking area and is steep so not for the faint of heart but well worth the effort. The trails were easy to follow and had beautiful look outs as well as a basketball hoop and horseshoes. Our site was huge and had great spots to hangout with chairs, hammocks and a picnic table by the fire pit. I can’t say enough nice things about this place and our experience.

Kinda pricey as far as camping goes, but this ain't your average camping. Just a big ol beautiful, natural, whimsical playground. Nick and other family/staff we came across were all wonderful people. The furry farm dog Chaga is an absolute delight. Epic sauna experience was indeed epic. Zip line was a fun little discovery wandering the grounds. Wish we could have had more time there, and boy do I hope to come back in the fall. Can only imagine what it's like then. Recommend gunning for sites 4 or 5. Views were more open than site 6, but ultimately you can't really go wrong.

Sacred Nectar is a playful and well thought out place to camp. The sites are magical with great views, the sauna was a big highlight and the Magic Cabin was inspiringly creative. Loved our spring stay at Sacred Nectar! Our second time camping here, but first time in a field site. There are three dispersed campsites in the field, we chose #3 (upon entering the property, there is a no-contact campers check-in lean-to with a map, so the field sites were easy to find; theres also great wood bundles to buy here, cash or venmo). Camped for a weekend in late April with a toddler and two pups, all who loved the visit from camp dog, Chaga! Incredible scenery, star gazing, nice picnic table and fire pit. We had a truck Camper, as well as two tents, and two other suvs, plenty of space! Only found a few ticks and there were pine trees around us for shade when needed. Highly recommend Nick's place!

We loved tent camping at Tripp Mine! Joseph was flexible and was available to assist with us getting to the camping area. It was a great experience to having a great camping area where you can hunt to the find our favorite gems!
One thing I would recommend for anyone planning a camping trip is to ensure that you have a vehicle that can handle a long bumpy dirt road to get to the site area.
