We are nestled in the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire. Just minutes from the Appalachian Trail, our site boasts a spectacular view of Franconia Notch in the Presidential Mountains. Our home 14’ yurt is cozily nestled into the forested section of our 2-acre property abutting 500 acres of forest....High gas prices make planning a quick get away or a vacation challenging. To help you get away from it all, we have temporarily reduced our standard weekend rate of $125.00 to $95.00 and continuing with the additional 20% discount for week nights. Enjoying the White Mountains should not break the piggy bank! Come and enjoy relaxing with wildlife on the 500+ acres of protected forest abutting our property. Rest and relax in the convenience of a furnished 14’ Yurt with fresh linens, a full size bed and twin size mattress for additional guests tucked under the bed. A skylight let's you enjoy watching the night sky from the comfort of your warm bed. 2 fire-pits are available at the yurt and at the gazebo with comfortable seating. The yurt has an authentic Hobbit wood stove and is ready to keep you warm cozy with a teapot for hot water. Purchase your bundle of firewood with registration. When in season, a lovely pollinator garden is located by the entrance where you can cut your own to add a special touch for your stay. Enjoy fresh blueberries or blackberries when in season. The gazebo has privacy screens if you would like to enjoy sleeping outside in the open air or your additional guests can pitch their tent on the deck. Reading material about the labyrinth, history of the White Mountains, how we compost humanure for our pollinator gardens cultivated for our small apiary and monarch butterfly way station, and more. Our labyrinth is located behind the gazebo and is open for your pleasure.

Campfires allowed
Firepit, wood burning fireplace. Two fire pits, one at the yurt & the other at the gazebo. An authentic Hobbit stove in the yurt...firewood can be purchased with your registration.
Toilet available
Composting toilet. Our lovable Loo is located in the woods on the east side of the yurt. It faces east into 500 acres of undeveloped forest and provides you with complete privacy.
Pets allowed
On leash. We have 2 young Blue Heeler dogs who run free in our yard when I am outside. Buddy is very shy and Louis loves to socialize. Please let us know before you arrive if you prefer to not be around dogs. We will keep them on a leash while outside
Potable water available
Bottled water or jugs. We have fresh spring water on our property and provide the Yurt with a 5 gallon water jug with a spigot and 1 gallon water jugs insight the Yurt and at the Loo.
Cooking equipment present
Private, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils, sink or other dishwashing station. Solar powered electricity in the Yurt. Heated mattress pad ready to use. Authentic hobbit wood stove inside the yurt provides heat when needed & a cook surface. Firewood can be purchased as part of your registration. 2 burner Coleman camp stove with fuel set up on the yurt porch. Outdoor firepit with tripod for over the fire cooking. Another firepit on the gazebo where star gazing can be done after dark also can be a lovely place to sleep- no additional fees. Washing station at the Loo under one roof.

Bathe in lake, bathe in river or stream. A variety of streams, rivers, lakes, and ponds are minutes away.
Pack it out
Please be kind and burn your paper waste and carry out all non recyclable. We provide a container for recyclables you can leave behind.
No wifi
Solar powered electricity inside the yurt. Internet connection is not reliable but great cellular phone reception!

There are several laundry facilities in Littleton which is less than a 15 minute drive.

The village of Franconia has a large playground & covered pavilion beside the Gale river with a grocery store, hardware store, sporting goods consignment, ice cream bars, and several places to eat.

A very cozy stay! The yurt had everything we needed. A stove, pot, utensils, kettle, and cute mugs. The wood stove kept us nice and toasty. Even our anxious dog felt super relaxed. Would definitely come stay again!

Wonderful stay beyond expectations

First of all, the host, Angela, had outstanding communication. We booked this last minute due to all camping spots being filled in Franconia, and so glad we did. Every detail has been thought of in the yurt, and the property is so beautiful and relaxing. I could really tell there was thought and effort put into it. I would highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back myself.

What a fantastic stop between Acadia and Lake George! Nestled in the woods, this adorable yurt was the glamping dream—peaceful, private, and perfectly stocked. We didn’t need anything but our own food. The space was cozy and well thought-out, with thoughtful touches and handy items tucked around every corner. It’s clear the host cares about comfort and convenience. Speaking of which—super friendly and welcoming! If you’re looking for a relaxing, nature-filled break on a road trip, this place is 10/10. Glamping expert approved. Would absolutely stay again!

My dog Royal and I had the best time here! Even with rain and cloudy weather the yurt was perfect. The property is beautiful with a great host, very welcoming and supportive. Great location close to so many good hiking trails. Would highly recommend!

We had a great stay in the yurt, very cute and cozy! The wood-burning stove kept us very warm and it was great to have kindling and logs available to us. Everything we could’ve needed really was there for us. We would definitely stay again sometime!

Wish we could have stayed longer! Angela's Mountain View Gardens & Apiary was just what we needed midway through our New England road trip. Angela was very responsive to messages and gave great instructions on parking and how to get there. The yurt had everything we needed including fire wood and kindling and a cute little wood stove that kept us warm as the temperature dropped down to 30 degrees the night we stayed. It was a very relaxing stay and not far from Littleton, where we went for dinner, and not far from Flume Gorge and other hikes in the White Mountains. It was a great stay and we really enjoyed meeting Angela and her dogs.

Angela was a fantastic host and had everything in the Yurt prepared for a cozy night in the brisk fall weather. Great location, very comfortable inside and the path to the yurt was well marked and lit. The land was very peaceful and it made for an excellent glamping experience. Would love to go back for another visit in the future.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy little yurt. We got there just after sunset but with the great directions provided we had no trouble finding anything. The yurt is nice and secluded, it is located across the property, just a short walk through the backyard from the parking spot on the road. We loved the little wood stove in the yurt, it was great for taking the chill off. The bed was comfy and clean and there were plenty of extra blankets. The outhouse was just a short walk from the yurt and it was very clean. We would absolutely stay here again, highly recommend!

Great dog friendly getaway!

We loved Angela’s yurt, the area it’s settled in feels secluded and separate enough from the neighbors. It was so peaceful! We loved having access to plenty of wood and kindling to enjoy a fire. It was stocked well with dishes and supplies to get us through our short trip. Our favorite part about this site is the fact that it’s dog friendly! Angela was so helpful and was easily reachable by phone/text before, during and even after our stay. 100% would recommend! Especially for the fall season.

We arrived late at night, later than expected, and Angela was very understanding and left many lights on for us that guided us to the yurt in the dark. Her directions made it easy to find it. Angela's yurt was warm and cozy and had everything we needed. Nice and quiet too!

Coziest Yurt!

This was the sweetest little yurt! My husband and I last minute booked it when we saw there was rain in the forecast for our planned hiking trip at Franconia Notch and we are so glad we did! We were so cozy and dry in Angela’s secret spot on her beautiful property. There were so many little details that made our stay so special! The yurt had the coolest decorations from the funky reads, to the coziest bed and the selection of teas. There were tiki torches and tea lights lining the path to the yurt and the lovable loo. We had a great fire and loved listening to the rain on the roof of the yurt at night. A perfect stay after a long day of hiking. We would absolutely recommend staying here! A short 12 minute drive from Franconia Notch. We will definitely be back!
