We are nestled in the heart of the White Mountains of northern New Hampshire. Just minutes from the Appalachian Trail, our site boasts a spectacular view of Franconia Notch in the Presidential Mountains. Our home 14’ yurt is cozily nestled into the forested section of our 2-acre property abutting 500 acres of forest....High gas prices make planning a quick get away or a vacation challenging. To help you get away from it all, we have temporarily reduced our standard weekend rate of $125.00 to $95.00 and continuing with the additional 20% discount for week nights. Enjoying the White Mountains should not break the piggy bank! Come and enjoy relaxing with wildlife on the 500+ acres of protected forest abutting our property. Rest and relax in the convenience of a furnished 14’ Yurt with fresh linens, a full size bed and twin size mattress for additional guests tucked under the bed. A skylight let's you enjoy watching the night sky from the comfort of your warm bed. 2 fire-pits are available at the yurt and at the gazebo with comfortable seating. The yurt has an authentic Hobbit wood stove and is ready to keep you warm cozy with a teapot for hot water. Purchase your bundle of firewood with registration. When in season, a lovely pollinator garden is located by the entrance where you can cut your own to add a special touch for your stay. Enjoy fresh blueberries or blackberries when in season. The gazebo has privacy screens if you would like to enjoy sleeping outside in the open air or your additional guests can pitch their tent on the deck. Reading material about the labyrinth, history of the White Mountains, how we compost humanure for our pollinator gardens cultivated for our small apiary and monarch butterfly way station, and more. Our labyrinth is located behind the gazebo and is open for your pleasure.

Campfires allowed

Firepit, wood burning fireplace. Two fire pits, one at the yurt & the other at the gazebo. An authentic Hobbit stove in the yurt...firewood can be purchased with your registration.

Toilet available

Composting toilet. Our lovable Loo is located in the woods on the east side of the yurt. It faces east into 500 acres of undeveloped forest and provides you with complete privacy.

Pets allowed

On leash. We have 2 young Blue Heeler dogs who run free in our yard when I am outside. Buddy is very shy and Louis loves to socialize. Please let us know before you arrive if you prefer to not be around dogs. We will keep them on a leash while outside

Potable water available

Bottled water or jugs. We have fresh spring water on our property and provide the Yurt with a 5 gallon water jug with a spigot and 1 gallon water jugs insight the Yurt and at the Loo.

Cooking equipment present

Private, cookware, cooking utensils, dishware, cutlery, basic seasoning and oils, sink or other dishwashing station. Solar powered electricity in the Yurt. Heated mattress pad ready to use. Authentic hobbit wood stove inside the yurt provides heat when needed & a cook surface. Firewood can be purchased as part of your registration. 2 burner Coleman camp stove with fuel set up on the yurt porch. Outdoor firepit with tripod for over the fire cooking. Another firepit on the gazebo where star gazing can be done after dark also can be a lovely place to sleep- no additional fees. Washing station at the Loo under one roof.

Please be kind and burn your paper waste and carry out all non recyclable. We provide a container for recyclables you can leave behind.

Communication with Angela was super easy, and she has thought of it all! This site was well stocked and set up for a comfortable stay. We especially appreciated having a covered porch to spend time on right outside of the yurt, plus the proximity to Littleton.

The host was a delight, friendly and it is very apparent this site is a labor of love - the small details really shine here, from the fire pit covers to the thoughtfully placed tiki torches lighting the way to the loo, it's well considered and easy to recede into a relaxed state. Despite being a New Hampshire resident most all my life, this little site felt new and unique in ways I've not experienced elsewhere in NH. Sleeps three grown men just fine, you could easily make this site work (without a tent, hammock or other solution, speaking all sleeping inside the yurt here) for a few parents and two children. This is a great spot for folks looking to lean into the camping experience, without abandoning too many creature comforts. With civilization just 6-8min away, you get the peace and serenity of the natural environment with the peace of mind of resources and medical services immediately accessible nearby. Give it a try, it might even become a new favorite!

Had a wonderful time staying at Angela's property. She is a lovely and attentive hostess who provides everything you need for a comfortable and cozy stay.. lots of blankets for chilly nights, cooking supplies to make your campfire meals, and plenty of drinking water all surrounded by her beautiful gardens. The highlight of our visit was spending nights on her outdoor patio, stargazing and listening to owls converse with each other in the forest. Can't recommend Angela's place enough!

Peaceful, Easy Feeling

This is a great little spot to get away from life. The walk-in is manageable, and at night the pathway is well-lit. The different lights and lanterns are quite magical! I didn't use the gazebo, but it would be a great place to spend a night by the campfire with friends. The yurt is nestled in a shaded spot in the woods past the gazebo and offers complete privacy. It has a covered porch with a cookstove and water station. A table/chairs, tiki torches, and a fire pit complete the site. The loo is further back, and that path is also able to be lit at night with tiki's. The yurt itself was very comfortable, despite the heat and humidity during my stay. I used the provided fan when needed and slept great on the very comfortable bed. There are some great reading materials available in the yurt, along with most everything you might need. The solar electric was more than enough for my needs. I'd never stayed in a yurt before and didn't know what to expect, but the way it is set up and decorated, it was really a cool stay!! The mosquitoes weren't bad. I did set up my ThermaCell, though, and that was enough to keep the few around at bay. Angela is readily available if you have any questions or concerns. What I liked most about this wa the "secluded" feel without sacrificing that sense of security. My dog was able to wander about and get in and out of the yurt at will with the mesh screen. It's a great location for exploring all the area has to offer in any direction. Book it!

Best Yurt Experience

This was our first time camping in a Yurt, and I feel like all other yurts have been ruined for us in perpetuity! The owner is VERY responsive, and makes you feel very welcome (although we weren’t able to meet her due to our late arrival and her getting sick). We were arriving so late due to my truck breaking down, and she turned on the pathway lights to the yurt, lit the tiki torches that light the way to the loo, and had the entire place immaculate! Inside the yurt there was EVERYTHING you could possibly need or want in a camping experience. She had a fan blowing to keep us cool, and for the winter there is a wood fired heater, and a blanket heater for the bed. I felt like we got treated better here than at any fancy hotel. We will be coming back very soon. I loved everything about this experience, even seeing her honey bees!!! 10/10 recommend!

A Wonderful Getaway

We had a great time staying at the Yurt. Angela was a gracious and accommodating host and it was a very private spot. A very short walk to the sit from parking through an adorable garden area and by some bee hives (I made sure to introduce ourselves to the bees, as I understand they like to know who is in their space ❤️🤣) I highly recommend a stat here and the Littleton area is definitely worth a day or two of exploring! Thank you Angela for having us!

Angela's yurt was great! Our toddler really enjoyed our time there! It's the perfect location near downtown Littleton and Franconia Notch State Park. Perfect for young kids and introduction to camping. Angela was a great host, responded very quickly to every question we had.

Just Great

It's one of the few places that is better than advertised. It is secluded but not too far from the road where packing things in would be a pain. The owners really thought through amenities and nice touches to make the stay easy such as solar powered plugs and lights etc. And, communication was as easy as it gets. We were impressed, felt comfortable there and look forward to coming back. Also there are two adorable towns (Bethlehem; Franconia) to explore in addition to the proximity to all mountain activities.

Wonderful stay beyond expectations

First of all, the host, Angela, had outstanding communication. We booked this last minute due to all camping spots being filled in Franconia, and so glad we did. Every detail has been thought of in the yurt, and the property is so beautiful and relaxing. I could really tell there was thought and effort put into it. I would highly recommend staying here, and hope to come back myself.

What a fantastic stop between Acadia and Lake George! Nestled in the woods, this adorable yurt was the glamping dream—peaceful, private, and perfectly stocked. We didn’t need anything but our own food. The space was cozy and well thought-out, with thoughtful touches and handy items tucked around every corner. It’s clear the host cares about comfort and convenience. Speaking of which—super friendly and welcoming! If you’re looking for a relaxing, nature-filled break on a road trip, this place is 10/10. Glamping expert approved. Would absolutely stay again!

We had a great stay in the yurt, very cute and cozy! The wood-burning stove kept us very warm and it was great to have kindling and logs available to us. Everything we could’ve needed really was there for us. We would definitely stay again sometime!
