Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's most treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose. Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an ecofriendly, Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Thank you for being a part of the healing. We hope you enjoy what we have created here :)

Site 2 - Secluded Forest Cove
It was a great little spot that felt both close enough to civilization to be easy and just far enough to feel secluded. Would do it again.

Site 3 - Hemlock Haven
Hemlock Haven or Hemlock Heaven!?
Hemlock Haven~ Site 3~ really is just perfect. It's far enough away from the other sites to where you only hear the sounds of nature surrounding you, but close enough to the other sites that you don't feel too far out. I loved the teepee that sort of protects your tent from wind, moisture & fire ash. Many other spots within site 3 for tents as well. I was overwhelmed with my own ego & reality and Sacred Nectar Sanctuary truly was the perfect reset & escape. The forced relaxation & grounding was necessary but the birds singing, creek flowing and thoughtful spaces provided on your property were such a plus. I hiked up Mt. Whiteface & Mt. Katherine, explored the fairy forest & other fun/random trails on the property (including the views at the forbidden site) read many pages from my book, enjoyed my campfire meals & even did some daytime napping. What a dream! In the future I'm excited to use the Sauna & explore the parts I missed out on this time. Thank you so much Nick for creating and sharing such a special place. My time here truly brought me some moral joy.

Site 5 - The Big Kahuna
Special Place
All of the sites are beautiful and very well kept. We've been visiting Sacred Nectar for four years with our family. It's become a tradition which my older son refers to as The Special Place. We hope we can keep coming back for many years to come.
