Sacred Nectar rests on the land of the Wabanaki Tribes. This land, now known by it's view gifting fields, is one of Sandwich's top treasured gems. The Historic Farm was purchased by Townsend Thorndike from the first colonizing family to claim ownership of this unceded land, the McCrillis family. It was Town's place to get away from the busy life. As time went on and his money dwindled and plans to sell off some of the land arose.
Townsend's son, Nick, foresaw a devastating development of conventional homes that would diminish the soul of this sacred land that held so much magic. So, Nick decided to move back to the homestead to create an example of what a healthy life for the land and its inhabitants looks like. HipCamp was the first step towards sharing and opening up the land to create an Intentional lifestyle. One in which we hope to share our way of being that brings awareness to the natural world we have fallen so far from. Nick and his tribe of like minds are creating a holistic, educational, retreat, workshop, and event center where people can come to learn how to co-exist in a harmonious relationship with nature and each other. Harvey's Hill has been a beloved part of Epping for generations. In the summer, you might see small planes taking off from the hilltop airstrip or locals walking their dogs up to catch the sunset. In the fall, my aunt Erica makes donuts down in the Milk Room, and in the winter, the hill fills with sledders racing down its snowy slope.
Many celebrations have taken place here over the years, including weddings, reunions, and picnics.
The Cantina is a new addition to the top of the hill. It includes three bathrooms, a kitchen, and electricity. While simple and minimalist, these amenities make the site more comfortable, and we hope they enhance your stay.

Dancing Bear Farm is a working farm with silvopastured chickens, turkeys, goats, and horses. Campsites are at the edge of the hayfields overlooking a view of Mt. Ascutney and Mt. Sunapee and excellent sunrises!
During your stay you are welcome to visit the animals, explore the forested trails, and walk up to the pond. There is a shared campfire and pavilion that guests are welcome to use, as well as a restroom with flush toilet and handwashing sink close to the campsites. Firewood is provided though we also have higher quality firewood bundles available to purchase.
We can also offer a customized farm experience for an additional cost! Hike with the goats, harvest in the garden, or meet the baby animals! Traveling with kids? We can offer a private kids farm class while the grownups head off for their own adventures.
We sometimes host educational workshops on site, including in the pavilion. When you book we will let you know if your stay coincides with an educational program. Guests are welcome to join in with a 15% discount to any of our public workshops!
The property is secluded and peaceful, though sometimes on Friday nights we can hear the race cars at the Claremont Motorsports Park.

The Rental with a View overlooks the beach and pond and features a private deck, full kitchen, bathroom, climate control, and sleeping accommodations for up to six guests, including a separate bunkhouse.
Beach Camping on the Pond offers a unique waterfront experience for two adults, complete with a private deck, full amenities, a gas grill, and a beachfront fire pit.
For a more secluded stay, the RV in the Woods is situated on a wooded site and includes a spacious interior, private outdoor living area, full kitchen, bathroom, and accommodations for up to five guests.
Tent campers can enjoy our primitive campsites, each equipped with a picnic table and fire ring. A nearby bathhouse provides shower facilities, and guests have access to a charging outlet near the outdoor sink area. The Lodge and cabins we have at Sand Pond are situated about one hundred yards from beautiful sand pond (actually a lake). Sand Pond is a spring fed lake near the base of Silver Mountain which is a beautiful and close by hike to 360 views of the surrounding region/mountains. You will have easy and direct access to the sandy beach and swimming. The water is crystal clear and the water around the beach is very shallow which is great for children. The beach has a fire pit available as does the lodge. We have kayaks, a canoe and paddleboards available on the beach for guests to use.
All cabins and the lodge have a single bathroom and shower, porches, kitchens and living rooms.

Cabin was clean and comfortable. The screened in porch provided a lovely setting for dinner and board games. This is clearly a great spot as a home base for many outdoor activities that Conway has to offer. My son and I were there primarily for mountain biking, but also got to explore Cranmore mountain and ride the coaster.

The hosts, Rachael and Justin, were lovely! They greeted us with joy and showed us the cabin, while also reassuring us that they would be around if we needed anything. We had a wonderful stay at this pet‑friendly cabin overlooking the Connecticut River. The property is beautiful, peaceful, and thoughtfully cared for. The cabin itself is just as listed; impeccably clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable. Jessica, the host, was kind and accommodating throughout our stay.
We brought both our cat and dog, and the space worked perfectly for all of us. Jessica provided an electric heater in anticipation of a chilly night, but we didn’t end up needing it—the cabin is well insulated and stayed warm on its own. The outhouse is exactly what you’d expect, but it was clean, well maintained, and easy to use.
There were lots of small, well‑considered amenities that made the stay even nicer, and we really appreciated the care that went into creating a welcoming space. We would absolutely recommend this spot and would happily stay again.

You are living in a beautiful, detailed puzzle in a beautiful spot. It's really well-equipped with two fire pits (one with a grill for cooking, and water to rinse (not drink) in the cabin. It's warm and clean and has windows for light and air. You're about a mile from the main camp area, which has showers and more cooking stuff and electricity. You can't see or hear any other campsites from where you are.

Okay, where to even start? By far the COOLEST place I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying. The escape room aspect kept us entertained for hours even though we couldn’t figure out the last clue it was a blast, This place is magical in every way. We stayed in the smaller cabin with our dog, and had just the right amount of space, and enough creature comforts to elevate our camping experience over our typical tenting outings.
